Let me rephrase that....I’m not a fan of Eric Turner, because I don’t think he has a credible voice. He played high school football like we all did. Never worked for a college team, never worked for an NFL team, never even worked for an XFL or lingerie bowl team. He works hard no doubt, but again it’s like some of us watching film and critiquing players. He a fan. Period.

Why? $100, movies, a free ticket and pizza for outsmarting the system. I should have been applauded for the great idea!

I’m reading that the Chic-Fil-A franchise is looking to expand more into Western, NY. The first store opened in Cheektowaga a few weeks ago and last year in Rochester. Both stores are making a killing as you can see by the huge-arse lines and the traffic. They are trying to put another one in the Rochester area so that means Buffalo will likely follow. Here’s my pitch....put it in New Era Stadium. How sweet would it be to dine on chicken sandwiches and waffle fries in the stadium. This is my dream. Of course, with Russ Brandon out of the picture it might be possible. He chose to hire all locally owned venues as food vendors. Lets my dream becomes a reality!

Ha...well I’m just joking around but the thought of someone hiding in the bathroom and watching movies on their phone to escape (EJ) manuel labor is hilarious to me. As is the fact you could slack off, eat pizza, get paid a meager wage, and also get a game ticket LOL

I’m at the stadium now and I’m shoveling snow. I’m writing this from the bathroom.

I’m thinking of signing up to shovel. I’ll probably work for a few minutes then take off in the bathroom with my phone (to watch movies) until it’s break time. I’ll eat some pizza and then go out to work for a few more minutes and then go back in the bathroom to hide for a few hours until it’s dinner time. Then I’ll eat an leave And the end of the day I will have worked for just a few minutes, make about $100 cash, get the ticket for the Bills game and I’ll get fed 2 meals. Plus I’ll get to watch some movies in the bathroom. You can’t go wrong

The whole “Buffalo wind” excuse is a joke. When was the last time any QB struggled throwing in the Buffalo wind?

Just saying....neither Turner not Ledyard have ever worked on a college or NFL staff. They both have high school coaching backgrounds like most people here in the forum. Turner is actually a customs agent at the Canadian Border. Their analysis is akin to a former high school football player or coach breaking down film. It’s cool - some of the insight is interesting. In my opinion their opinion holds as much weight as some of established, proven players and NFL executives that breakdown film. I will say The Athletic is a professional media, whereas the Draft Network is a glorified fan blog. So props to Turner for getting that gig. If you want film analysis on The Athletic, read the breakdown from Matt Fairburn and Joe Licata. Joe actually ran the offense as a QB at UB and was a camp arm for Cincinnati.

It would be nice if the guy reviewing the tape actually knew about NFL If I wanted to read a fan (posing as a professional) take on footage, I would read Joe Marino or Jon Ledyard

You might be onto something here. Also you can make the argument that his hatred of Nate Peterman was race related too I like the Bills Beat podcast. It drops around 8 PM in game day and about 6PM on Thursday before the game. For live coverage after the game, the only option is WGR 550. Unfortunately Empire Sports Net went under 2 decades ago!!!

Nope...won’t happen. I can’t see them breaking the bank for a 30 year WR.
