  1. The last thing Allen looked like today was "flat and going through the motions". On the TD run alone he demonstrated what real passion on the field looks like as opposed to some hyper excited rah/rah nonsense on the sideline. Frankly, Diggs looked like a loon on the sideline and I didn't notice improved lay out of anyone as a result of his screaming & ranting - did you? BTW, have you ever watched Mahomes on the sideline?
  2. Again I think the under throws are the right throws in those situations. The first one was a long developing play in which Allen had to hold the ball and release it late while in the end zone. Diggs was wide open but he wasn't running for the end zone. Accurately hitting him in the chest and locking in a 50 yard gain was priority #1. The 2nd long pass hit Diggs in his hands as he was high pointing the ball. The DB made a great play to steal the ball away from him. Allen said his arm was hit as he threw it yet the ball was still on target. Tonight you saw the problem with overthrowing wide receivers as Dak over threw a WR by 5 yards out of bounds who would have sailed into the end zone with a better throw and on another long pass Dak so far overshot the receiver that the safety coming in late picked the ball off over his shoulder like he was the target.
  3. And almost 400 total yards. Allen gets a game ball from me: 3 TD's almost 400 total yards and the one TO was inches from being a 50 yard completion to the 5 yard line.
  4. Who is saying "In Josh we Trust"? What we are saying is that Allen is the best thing the Bills have going for them on offense and that was true again today. This doesn't mean we don't acknowledge that something seems off on the O at time. I don't know what it is but I have my suspicions. One thing I am confident of is that it's NOT Allen. But I'm not in the film room and I'm not at practice or in the position group meetings so I'm blind & dumb when it comes to what the problem is. I just have theories like the rest of you people. And for the record will you quit calling Bills fans on 2BD "homers" for being more optimistic and less critical then you are. It's a long grueling season and I'm a long way from being convinced that we're not going to win a 4th straight division title. And the only thing that would get me to abandon this take would be if Allen went down.
  5. I don't know why some posters are arguing about this play. On the replay it was clear as day that Diggs got BOTH hands on the ball before the DB made a fantastic play. Diggs completes that catch 9 out of 10 times.
  6. It was 3rd & 15. If Allen overthrows Diggs they're punting. And short is not an INT in every situation. What I'm talkign about is when a guy breaks wide open. Short is more often then not a completion for a big gain which is what QB's are taught to go for. Into tight coverage an under throw can be an INT. The throw to Diggs hit him in both hands. It was on the money.
  7. I don't disagree but I was making a "micro" point in response to those trying to insinuate Allen was a problem here or over the last few years. The "Josh Allen Experience" that the poster was disparaging is the ONLY reason Buffalo has been relevant in the NFL over the last 4 years. And for the record the Bills did sniff the SB in 2020 & 2021.
  8. To be fair the Lions rookie TE is being made a part of the game plan in ways Kincaid is not. It seems to be me that when targeted Kinkaid is catching the pass.
  9. But to be fair Johnson may be the best OC out there.
  10. Garbage time? If the Bills make the stop on that 3rd & 6 that Lawrence hit the big pass on the Bills have the ball with 2 minutes left needing a TD to win.
  11. I call you out on claiming you're the biggest Allen fan out there. To many times on 2BD you guys throw that out while taking completely unjustified shots at Allen. On the 2nd deep throw to Diggs the replay was clear - Diggs had both hands on the ball and should have came down with it to give the Bills a 1st & goal at the 5. That was an elite 55 yard throw by Allen to his #1 play making WR. And 9 times out of 10 Diggs makes that catch. To suggest that this accurate observation is "making excuses is wrong.
  12. It absolutely was. Like I said before Diggs makes that catch 9 times out of 10. It was a great play by the DB. That play was an elite throw by Allen to his #1 play making WR.
  13. So now posters are blaming Allen for the dropped passes, O line holding calls and suspect play calling? Please. You want to know what the "Josh Allen Experience" is? It's winning football, it's three straight Division titles and four straight trips to the playoffs. It's being listed as a legit Super Bowl contender for four years in a row. Without the "Josh Allen Experience" the last 5 seasons would have been more of the drought years.
  14. Bingo. But when your goal is to take back door swipes at Allen you start a thread like this one claiming you don't want to turn it into a hate Allen fest. For me this crap gets old. The two long throws Allen made to Diggs were exactly how you want him to do it. As I said before Diggs makes that catch 9 times out of 10. On that particular throw the DB made an awesome play to steal the ball away.
  15. Watch the replay. Diggs has BOTH hands on the ball and then it's pulled away by the Jag DB. Very easy to see.
  16. The first "under throw" is a play that takes a long time to develop. Diggs was running sort of a horizontal pattern NOT a post pattern. That pass was in fact perfectly thrown because Allen see's it and then launches it 50+ yards for a big gain. The 2nd "under thrown" pass you site was a perfectly thrown ball that Diggs should have caught giving us a 1st & goal. Nine times out ten, Diggs maintains possession and doesn't have that ball stolen from him. In both cases the goal is not to OVERTHROW the pass. How many times watching any level of football do you see QB's miss wide open receivers by throwing the ball over their heads. On that play the first responsibility of the QB is to complete the pass.
  17. Disagree. That was a very late developing play. Those are not the kind you hit the WR in stride for. That pass & catch were exactly how that sort of play is supposed to work. IMO Allen had a great game that was marred by dropped passes, penalties and the refusal of Dorsey to adjust to what the Jags were doing until to late in the game.
  18. The deep pass on 3rd & 15 that was in Diggs hand at the 5 yard line and he had it wrestled away by the DB. I consider that a "dropped pass". All Diggs had to do was keep his hands on the ball, wr wins the 50/50 possession, and the Bills have 1st & goal at the 5 and about to take the lead.
  19. Agree. It took Dorsey to long to recognize and adapt to the fact that the Jags were not going to let us have those short rhythm passes. And 3rd down drops by Knox & Cook on the Bills first 2 drives set the tone for to many 3 and outs.
  20. Dorsey should have recognized after the FIRST series that the JAGS were not going to let us run the ball or hit those short rhythm passes. Before the end of the 1st quarter he should have unleashed Allen and the downfield passing attack.
  21. Seems like a lot of defensive TD's have been scored for only 4 weeks into the season.
  22. I agree. I traveled a lot to London in my 30's & 40's for work and didn't find the jet lag to be very bad. A day or two and they'll be fine.
  23. Allen also has the Pats number. Since 2020 he's what 6 - 1 with the only loss being in a hurricane. And the last 5 wins have been by double digit or more.
  24. He looks a bit rattled.
  25. What, Mahomes has already thrown 2 INT's? And they were bad ones at that.
