  1. The fact is that Obama did not consider the attack in Libya as an act of terrorism the day after the attacks took place. You can say different all you want but that is a fact and was the point Mitt Romney was making.
  2. Also any criticism of Obama was labelled racism.
  3. Ok that one is killer.
  4. You mean there's another way to cook eggs?
  5. Probably had the Ribeye, that is one big piece of beef.
  6. Very interesting, my friends and I are convinced that Norwood actually made that kick but it so altered the universe in horrific and unimaginable ways that time-travelers had to go back and alter that kick to the right.
  7. If you haven't seen them in a while I recommend The Big Lebowski and O Brother Where Art Thou. Also one of the funniest movies I've seen is Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Can't go wrong with any of these.
  8. If you ask me Newt is the one who should be the GOP nominee. The guy is intelligent, experienced in domestic and foreign affairs, and puts his love for country above all else. Here's a little taste. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtjfMjjce2Y
  9. Crickey, you guys are brutal sometimes. I know if I was going to an autograph session to meet SJ and he didn't show I'd be a little upset too.
  10. And a classic leap into a swimming pool on The Superstars.
  11. Horrible officiating again that allowed the Jets to get points but we have to be able to overcome those bad calls or non calls. Today just wasn't our day.
  12. Really what was Chan thinking with that? Pom poms? <hack patooey>
  13. Actually no I didn't, my son lent me a Calvin Johnson jersey so I blended in with the locals. Thanks, it was nice to share the experience with him. Maybe next year we'll do it again.
  14. It appeared to be hopping on game day?
  15. Good question, his only explanation id that as a kid he liked Barry Sanders. He's been a Lions fan ever since. I did see some tailgating going on the parking lots close to the stadium and I agree Comerica Park looked like a great place.
  16. My kid is 26 and no I didn't.
  17. My son (the Lions fan) and I went to Detroit over the weekend and went to the Lions/Falcons game. A few observations- First, not a bad drive. Took the Lewiston Bridge into Canada and it took a little less than 5 hours. Border crossings suck though. Second, what a difference having a stadium in downtown makes. All kinds of places around the stadium within walking distance. Restaurants and bars and shops that you can go to before and after the game. Third, the people were extremely nice and very polite. Very friendly. Ford Field was very nice, lots of concessions and easy to navigate. But as I got to my seat I said to my son. "This just isn't right. Football should be played outdoors." The enclosed stadium made it very loud when the crowd got going but I missed the weather, wind, rain, or snow that we have at the Ralph. Of course my son was bummed at the outcome of the game but he enjoyed the trip. All in all a great experience that I will probably do again.
  18. Thank you kindly.
  19. Just wondering if anyone knows what game will be televised on Sunday one o'clock in western ny?
  20. "Your to"? Unless you quoted the wrong post, I don't get it?
  21. No I'm not thick, what you fail to see is that the Giants defense chose to single up with our best wide receiver while we were in scoring range late in the game. To not try to make that play is a defeatist decision.
  22. Yes scoring a TD to go ahead by 7 is insane. What were they thinking.
  23. Then we either stop them or we don't, worse case, we go into overtime. I'd throw to Stevie Johnson any time he has single coverage.
