  1. My narrative changed on Bernard but really what did he have to show during his first year? No play time over Dodson, barely made any plays on special teams and seemed a little confused out there. He’s changed that narrative but I saw that being a lot of help from Milano giving him confidence. Hopefully his play continues to round out and be solid. 🤞
  2. Well this is a little rough. Guess it’s time for Poona and Settle to step up with Phillips. Got to believe Rousseau is going to see a decent amount of rotations inside seeing as he’s had success there. Time to stack the box and make Mac Jones beat us. Can’t let Stevenson and Elliot gain any confidence.
  3. 31-10 Buffalo. Knox, Diggs and Gabe all grab a TD with Josh running another. Pats Zeke gets another TD on the year.
  4. Pretty much what Gabe gets with a slither of Stef’s targets going his way. Could be one game Stef is the guy, the next Adams but neither should ever see less than the average of 5 or 6 targets that Gabe gets. Plus side too is he’s capable of all routes. You then can have Stef in the slot where he is far more dangerous. If it happens the Bills automatically become odds on favorites and if the output, playcalling and results are anything like the Jags and Giants games then you know where the team is falling short… Josh has proven he can get it done. Stef has proven he can get it done. Both have done so together. Adams has produced with no one like Stef opposite (although I do think Myers is sneaky good and underrated).
  5. Wish for his sake he stuck to last year’s method by keeping quiet and letting the play speak for itself. He ended up a Heisman winner as a result of that. Back to back is still possible but after Notre Dame’s ugly showing he’s got to be lights out from there on. Like @Warriorspikes51 alluded to teams taking him off their board; maybe that is his plan so the landing spots are more favorable. This quote coupled with the NIL earnings is quite concerning. From a quick thought there’s only a handful of QBs who are worthy of part ownership of a franchise and that’s because they built them into the success and brand they are: Montana/9ers, Colts/Manning & Pats/Brady. None of those 3 have a share in what they built… Isn’t happening for Caleb.
  6. Sucks for him and the Colts. The lead up to the draft and regular season was all about how he’s this “big athletic freak” who’ll be able to be a difference maker with speed and size on the game. Shame he isn’t durable as they have been a good watch when he’s played.
  7. Well this’ll make all the armchair GMs puff their chest. Half the board’s been saying this 😂
  8. Wont be any worse than the Bills/Giants…. 😬
  9. I question whether that is Roger himself but rather the owners and NFL committee who have moved the league and it’s coverage in that direction.
  10. Rice has seen a decent amount of targets per game. Think the only way you get better is seeing more of the ball. Hopefully for him it continues as he was an intriguing prospect coming out of SMU.
  11. Classic AFC helmet to boot would be the icing on the cake.
  12. I guess that’s where difference of perspective comes in. If a defender in some way impedes or is making a play on the ball, that to me is a contest. Might not be what most deem a contested catch as in a 50/50 jump ball. Like NBA, you can contest a shot just by blocking the sight line of the basket where a player is aiming for. Is it a great throw on the last one? Sure but he has a guy on his hip trying to make a play in the ball and that is easily a contest for me. Im not saying you’re wrong in any way just that how you view a contested catch is obviously different to me. Breaking it down to the original discussion, in any clip or highlight I see of Harty/Harris he’s always separated from a defensive player.
  13. Should have a ring… That sick sideline catch to put ATL in FG position for a win highlights his whole career there.
  14. I’ll leave This, This and This to get started from a quick search. My statement was “albeit limited” but still demonstrated it nonetheless. Also go back to his days at Georgia that year they lost the Sugar Bowl he was making some tough catches. Again… I said limited. But that is more than Harty has shown. Bigger picture I was alluding to having Bourne or Hardman as a player over Harty. That’s just me though. They are a better all around player than just gimmick plays or taking the top off a defense.
  15. Senior VP and COO jobs? 🤔
  16. I think you’re on to something. Kendrick Bourne and Hardman have demonstrated an ability, albeit limited, to make contested or tough catches. Harty seems to be the gadget/speedster. Great in moments but can easily be taken out of a game.
  17. out of the 2 leagues the DJ Moore owner in one sold him after his huge game last week. Ended up getting Damien Pierce and Kyren Williams for Moore & Montgomery. Pierce is bound to see better scoring and Kyren is killing it so he absolutely maxed out on that trade. No way Moore is going to produce 10-15 week in, week out. The QB situation with Fields and the backups is rough for any WR. Guy traded him at the absolute best possible time.
  18. You bought the Fields hype eh…
  19. Yeah, they have some absolute ball players who aren’t household names. Markquese Bell doing well for himself.
  20. Our new kick returner! 🥳
  21. Better situation, I think their number 2 is interchangeable between Higgins and Boyd.
  22. It’s the new way of taking money from these massive contracts who aren’t living up to it. 👀 👀
  23. Would remove Flowers/Andrews and replace that with Adams/Myers. That’s a very underrated duo.
