That Ferguson has looked like NFL caliber when he’s being targeted 6/7 times a game. Actually, thinking about it, Dak’s start to his career was his best and that was when he was targeting his TE and leaning on a run game. Maybe time to revert back to that form of success…

I just watched a video on Brock Purdy’s past few games and whilst he isn’t a great or elite QB he certainly isn’t a “game manager”. they were talking about a play where Shanahan routinely calls deep posts and the amount of times he’s lead the receiver underneath the coverage or away from it is consistent of someone who is merely not just a “game manager” but someone who is reading and reacting to what the defense is giving him. Again, is he a great or elite QB? No. Not yet at least. But there’s signs that he’s got potential to put together a very solid career.

Still disappointed in the Poona Ford pickup. Thought the talk going was to be between him and Jones for that spot next to Oliver… 3 games, 42 snaps, 1 tackle. Wanted better from what I heard and saw in Seattle.

With the way divisions and scheduling used to be in the 80s/90s it’s not a surprise. Kelly really only played the teams in our division: Colts/Fish/Pats/Jets. Let’s say he never made those SBs he would have only ever played the Cowboys once in 11 seasons. With the way they schedule games now you can guarantee a QB will play a team at least 3 times in that space of time today. Fun fact, in half that time Josh has played every team in the NFL.

The expectation of the offense performing how it has over the past few years; consistently decent, isn’t an outlandish thing. There’s way too many lackluster performances. Sure, come the end statistically it will look like there shouldn’t be a complaint but when you watch the games collectively and have massive outputs it’s going to inflate the overall numbers. Past few years with the same core players this team was moving the ball well week in week out. With the improved offensive line play this year, something we all have been hoping to happen for years, the expectation to be where they have been is pretty reasonable IMHO…. 🤷‍♂️

Makes a huge difference if we continue looking like we can barely beat teams who are looked over in comparison to the rest of the league let alone playoff caliber opponents.

The more I watch our team we don’t play great football when it comes to having to be a team that drives up and down the field. We really are solely built on chunk plays and having a lead.
