  1. That’s crazy that cutting ties to our All-Pro starting safety Poyer saves the same amount of $ as cutting a core ST’er.
  2. I know he’d probably want to go somewhere a little more temperate with a decent night life for him and Rachel but I wonder given Seattle’s recent releasing of both their Safeties, does he make a return to his hometown state and play for the Seahawks who are just a couple hours drive from Portland?
  3. Yaaaay. Another Jerry Juedy trade thread!
  4. They’re using the transition tag which allows them only to match an offer him and his agent like. They don’t acquire anything if they choose not to. Very rarely used option for that reason alone.
  5. A lot will hate the Wiggins pick but he’s absolutely talented, 7 WRs off the board by 28… Thomas Jr. the last @ 26… F- Tampa btw. I offered them exactly the same, just slightly better for what they accepted; this years 1st and next years 2nd but they declined… They accepted this years 1st and next years 2nd from… 🤪
  6. Everything I’ve seen it’s between rounds 5&6. Some here are adverse to it for whatever reason but he seems like a reasonable project QB that has good athletic traits.
  7. Polk and Legette just became more of a wish for me after looking at those %’s and their stats…
  8. The only thing bad about Von’s contract is he doesn’t play. Can’t fault Denver for the two years they over-compensated Seattle for Wilson. They had a decent core team to make an attempt at winning things… He at least was on the field for most of it irrespective of it worked out or not… They tried. Can’t do anything else but that.
  9. The consensus is Joe Milton. Think I agree with that.
  10. Sorry for your loss. Bigger picture, f-ck them and that disgusting mentality. When I started my current job my mother passed away 17 days into me working there. Had to travel back to the UK, they gave me 3 weeks off, told me to let them know if I needed any more time and paid me 7 days pay for bereavement. Mental that a company can’t take care of their biggest asset in a time no one should be experiencing. Props to you for giving them the courtesy of another 3 months. You’re just jealous they get that quarter Jimmy.
  11. So wild to me that they are still on the hook for something in the ballpark of $30m this year… Dude absolutely made out. Guess the stupidity really is unliiiiiimited…
  12. I think it’s the Madden effect… Some crazy moves can be made to better your team.
  13. Do they start to look for a replacement backup center now that he’s gone? My thoughts were they should even with Bates on the roster. Probably a bit more inclined now. I like Morse but given the concussion history and age I wonder how many more years of holding that job down efficiently he has left…
  14. Dawkins isn’t elite by any stretch but he is absolutely a starting LT. We’ve seen how hard it is to fill the opposite side… If Brown reverts to his play at stretches to the start of last season and the years prior on top of getting rid of Dawkins it won’t matter. Extend him, reduce his cap hit and keep that line in tact. They’re a solid group together. Do need to start looking forward a bit more and get some potential that can replace them if needed but not right now… Dont do Josh dirty for another few years.
  15. Bring back Frazier! 🥸
  16. Picked up additional picks on top of these for 2025. A 2nd rounder, two 4ths and a 7th.
  17. Traded around pretty much the first 4 rounds. Defensive talent dropped with offense going heavy in the first and early second.
  18. Think the Chiefs are trading up to get a guy they want and refuse to be the last to pick first round. They had their success the past two years without Hill. Last year I’m sure made Veach and Reid realize how dangerous they can be with a field stretcher; not that they didn’t before. Just highlights it to the forefront.
  19. I still put Coleman as the fringe guy for a first round. Playing in pads and gear isn’t as easy as spandex shorts and T. Falling in love with the metric testing is great but the tape can be a truer measure imo. If the 6 or even 7 tops guys are gone with Coleman on the board @ 28, the smart play is like you said and drop a few spots and hope for any of those 4 guys. I’d rather take Coleman over Franklin based on performance and the QB play they had.
  20. What do you think is quicker…. Worthy’s 40 time or the length the Raiders are on the clock before the pick comes in…? If Al was still alive I’d take the clock. 😂
  21. Agreed. Those last two you mentioned are my thought of some of the first 6 decide to go a different route. Either way it’s a strong possibility that 6 are gone. Mocks aren’t the be-all end-all but there was 5 or 6 in the 32 picks in most pre-combine. Let’s hope that wall isn’t hit before 28 🤞
  22. Pretty much on par with where I was… Curious why you feel that because I don’t see how there is “no way” when Higgins is tagged. There is no way they can pay Higgins again on a decent contract/tag him AND pay Chase. That is precisely why you draft a guy who’s got the chance to fill the void next year. We obviously see that part very differently.
  23. This might be sad but in enjoyed watching that Raiders team when they had Campbell/Palmer throwing to DHB and the crew 😂
  24. After the combines I wouldn’t be mad one bit if they were our first 2 picks. Love it!
