  1. Love to hear everyone in attendance cheering in admiration of what he just ran.
  2. There’s at least 6 I can think of before us: Giants, Tennessee, Chicago, Jags, Bucs and Cardinals. With the way these guys performed today it’s a strong possibility that many are gone come 28. Throw in the Bengals who could choose to add another guy for the future giving the Higgins/Boyd situations. Broncos are a possibility too as are Dallas and Houston.
  3. I think if John Ross didn’t get derailed by injuries he could have had a reasonable career.
  4. Was wondering why so many want us to grab Milton late… I get it now. Guy could be a great backup for us.
  5. I agree with you. He’s the one DE I hope they stay away from just after his combine he’s going to have teams more enamored with him and out of that grouping is definitely a possible candidate @ 28 if they choose to address the position then. There was a post a week or so back where I mentioned my coworkers who played collegiately at Pitt think he has talent but relies solely on being a better athlete and not football player. They believe Isaac is the PSU DE to draft…
  6. With the lack of dominant pass rushers in the league nowadays and the amount you have to pay the ones who are, I’d rather have blanket coverage across the board where he’s put in a position to wait for the decision. That’s easier said than done with the play calling/design and his talents. Pressure certainly bursts pipes but getting a diamond out of that scenario is far more tricky. Think it’s more fruitful to invest in the secondary again.
  7. They said the same thing about Houston… Granted the AFCS isn’t as strong as the East but the Pats could do a complete 180° if they play it smart. The defense is pretty solid in the secondary and interior/edge play of the box. A QB and some better protection, a few extra weapons; TE and a WR, another RB to compliment Stevenson sprinkled with some extra depth on defense and they are well on their way. They’re in a serious position to fix it in one year. A lot of big names they can splash the cash on and still have significant room to play with. It comes down to whether they go QB in the draft or FA and take the next best option to restart the franchise in MHJ; if he’s there. If they don’t go QB in the draft and trade back to settle for Nabers/Odunze/Thomas Jr/Bowers then Mayfield or Cousins are a relatively feasible option. Personally I am not counting them out of turning it around.
  8. Let’s hope you’re right. A lot of people think Thomas is a one trick pony but the way he sets up his routes using footwork and leverage seems like he could develop into something special. I think he’s in the mix for top 3… Odunze/Nabers/Thomas. Really feel he’s off the board in the top 15 if not 20. Will probably have to make a move if you want him. Franklin would be a great consolation prize and there’s a lot of talent with Mitchell. Again… Heres hoping! 🤞
  9. What about Vaki & Proctor? Not a fan?
  10. I think we already discussed Chop and I’m honestly indifferent. Wouldn’t hate it as it’s a need but wouldn’t, like you, love it either. Latu could be special. Probably not the best day of testing for him but the tape always shows you what you get IMO. Let’s say Turner makes it there and you have Latu, Turner and Chop… Who do they take? Realistically it’ll only be Latu or Chop. Dallas Turner was already projected to be the #1/2 edge guy off the board… guy absolutely dominated and took a stranglehold on the top spot at DE/Edge. That’s where I’m at. Would love Josh to get a fancy new toy early in the draft but defensive line is an absolute priority with Floyd likely not returning on top of the rest of the decent players on the exodus to boot. Need 2 starters to materialize this off-season on that line. Oof!
  11. If they did that, we’ll I just don’t know… That could be a problem. Definite chance to have a completely productive offense next season if they make the right moves. Will be interesting to watch.
  12. Think many people are in the I’d like a receiver but feel they’ll take a DLineman camp, myself included. And honestly, if they feel they can’t bring in some adequate talent via FA then the draft has got to be the solution. If either the Texas boys or Fiske are the choice then I can’t be mad. Same goes with Latu, Turner, Robinson. If that’s who they go with then so be it and let’s hope for the best. If Turner or Latu fall that far down the board, which I don’t expect, then I think we’ve found a possible solution to the pass rush. Maybe they resign AJE and Jones? Do they go WR even if the top 5 guys (MHJ, Odunze, Nabers, Thomas Jr., Coleman) are gone??? 🤔
  13. No way can we fork out the money for Mack. He was around 8-10 sacks a year prior to returning to his Raider years with 17 on the season… He’ll get paid handsomely. If we were to ever see Mack in a Bills uniform it was with that #4 in 2014. 😮‍💨 Too costly like you said, can’t see him doing us a favor when teams are coming calling with his last potential pay day.
  14. Yeah. I read your post. You talked about vaulting into the 10… hence why I asked for the 15 range. 🤔
  15. What are you giving up to move into the top 15? Has to be multiple high picks… Easily 2 firsts and a second.
  16. Not paying attention to rumors apparently 😂
  17. So with Pittman gone is the next rumor added to be Mike Evans to the Chiefs?
  18. Game has undeniably changed, for the better and for the worse, depending on which way they look at it. Players are pretty much an investment nowadays and they want to be able to have that protected and healthy in the best way possible. The product now is all dependent on the quarterback and best skill players being on the field as much as possible to produce the best viewing results for the public. I’m sure many of us wish the game was as physical as it once was, there’s sadly no way it ever reverts.
  19. Curious as to why people dislike this pick. Watching the tape he’s very fluid in setting up defenders to get leverage. Sure the route tree footage isn’t there but if you watch what is on tape he has the necessary tools in terms of footwork, explosiveness and effective release that shows with some refinement he could be the real deal when coupled with his high pointing, length and ball tracking. Definite room for improvement but none that is an absolute detriment that can prevent him from becoming dominant. If he tests well at the combine he’s easily slotting as close to, if not before, the Odunze pick. MHJ & Nabers followed closely by those two.
  20. Wonder if they attempt a trade with the Cardinals if one of Daniels/Maye/Williams make it to 4… Consensus is that given the right price and not too far of a drop that AZ would trade out of there.
  21. The melons didn’t grow the way Josh expected… Ok that was rude. Shame on me.
  22. Let’s hope so. Just don’t see how a guy who dominated the college game almost as well as Nabers slips that far down the board. Whoever gets drafted, be it personal preference or not, I’m all in on hoping they can achieve their very best.
  23. Saw this on the homepage for TBD yesterday except it linked to the New York Post. @Blank Stare put it best… It’s unlikely she lands a guy of Josh’s caliber again and appears to be doing the most to publicly allow herself to believe it isn’t as big a loss on her part. Props to her for trying to have some semblance of moving on I guess.
  24. Do you get double or half the say if you buy an unused comeback ticket from auction???? 🤔
  25. Absolutely not. You’re giving us, in this whimsical scenario for Bears fans, picks 1, 9, 75 this year in addition to next years first and second then 2026 1st and 2nd. That would be to even entertain a ridiculous thought. In reality, you would just laugh and say no thank you politely. You’d have to give up assets that cripple your drafting prospective for the next 5 years to get a chance for one of the top 2 QBs in the league…
