  1. I mean, I get it to an extent; Saquon is a absolute 3 down back that isn’t overlooked in the passing game. Henry, whilst a beast in his own right, isn’t that dynamic a receiving threat. Probably had to pay more than anyone else to secure his services?
  2. Trade for Sutton?! Swing for the fences… Trade for Justin Jefferson; 28, next years first and third. 😂
  3. Well it was always him or Saquon unless they missed out on both. Maybe if they get to the AFCC they won’t lose their identity and throw the ball 80% of their plays again…
  4. Very peculiar how that egregious a mistake can be made…
  5. Scrapped their whole defense whilst they’re at it… TF are Canales & Morgan doing out there???
  6. I think we should wait and see… The majority of us fans were all highly concerned about Bernard being the starter next to Milano entering last season… Look how that worked out. Guy was a stud for us. Sometimes all it takes for a player to get it is to sit and wait for their shot… Lewis has had some suspect play but that’s expected in adjusting to the league where you’re not an exceptional athlete or savant of the game’s mental aspect.
  7. At least when the birds are in the bush they aren’t sh—ing in your hand… 🤷‍♂️
  8. Good post, would absolutely hate it if they gave up a 3rd rounder for a year and a half of Douglas to hold Elam’s, a first rounder, spot as a boundary CB… Hope they keep him around unless he absolutely bombs in play quality this year.
  9. I’d honestly hope they hold on to 60… do 28, 133, 159 and a 1st & 4th next year to get to the early/mid-teens. Don’t think that gets it done though. Seen teams accept less though lol
  10. Hopefully it’s team friendly as he’s getting up there in age… Hopefully the reported deals for Savage, McKinney, Jones, Byard and even Geno Stone are all more than what we’d pay him… Somehow I think someone’s going to give him $8m+ a year…
  11. Yes, 11. Got to think a trade up unless they’re comfortable and believe Daniels will fall to them? Could even play a waiting game until the second round in the hope McCarthy or Nix make it that far. Could go Penix Jr. A lot of options for them that are better than what’s left on the scrap heap of QB FAs.
  12. Didn’t they trade for Josh Dobbs then switch to Nick Mullins after it wasn’t working as well as they hoped…? Tannehill, Darnold or Tyrod are pretty much the only guys left on the market who you would think about being a consideration to start a game… Pretty much a foregone conclusion they’re in the market for a QB this draft… Did they miss out on Russell Wilson?
  13. If it came to 5 times in a row, I’d Bow out of that situation immediately.
  14. Which is why I specified meaningful… One of those 3 was against Alex Smith and another he got injured half way through the game and didn’t return… This is a playoff team. One that beats Mahomes in the regular season yet lose come playoffs. So for 2 and a half games he has: 6 tackles, 4 QB hits, 3 TFLs, 1 sack, 1 TD. The majority of which happened when it was win or go home. FF & FR are on the low end for the 104 career games; 27 & 10. But hey, post season games mean the same as regular season I guess.
  15. I mean, I get it. I just don’t know why there isn’t the hammering of the table for guys who are just as productive and will just as much or less… Curtis Samuel, Tyler Boyd, DPJ, Noah Brown… Even that Agnew kid. Eh, to each their own I guess. Ok maybe Samuel, but Hollywood is as much a consistent mention around here as Ridley.
  16. I really don’t get the Hollywood Brown train…
  17. Well, those rip-resistant pants ain’t cheap… Got to help him out somewhere!
  18. TJ Watt is 100% shutting Mahomes down, come on man. Guy shows up everywhere; TFLs, Pressures, QB hits, Sacks & Tackles… These are his career averages per game (104 in total): Sacks: .928 Tackles: 3.85 TFLs: 1.09 QB Hits: 1.9 That’s a difference maker. You might be sarcastic, but it doesn’t seem so. Let TJ Watt loose and he’s going to do damage. The one and only time he’s met Mahomes & the crew in a meaningful game he had: 1 sack, 3 QB hits, 2 TFLs and scored a defensive TD.
  19. Oh ok. Didn’t realize that. So the guy we lost who’s being paid a few $m more p/y to get sacks out in SF is what then? He needs to do more IMO. The guy played 40+% of the defensive snaps in the final 7 weeks, 2 games of which he was inactive. He didn’t do much in that period; not more than 1 tackle and no more than 1 pressure/hurry in that same time frame. The only play that he really contributed on was the great tip to himself for an INT on Mahomes… If he’s going to play that high a % of snaps at a premium position on defense I think it’s fair to expect him to perform better than he has for the simple reason he’s capable of it. Not wanting mediocrity for a guy playing nearly half the snaps is fair imo. Especially when a guy is routinely crucified on the offense for sub par play on a high snap %…
  20. He’s capable, just got to show it. Do we see us bringing any other guys on the edge outside the draft?
  21. Great news but honestly, the kid’s going have to step up big time and be a large contributor consistently on the season… Heres hoping! Congrats to him and us!
  22. Yeah, I think he’s best suited as a complimentary piece and we relied too heavily on him being the guy after his start to the season. They should expect him to produce with Bosa opposite.
