  1. This is gonna be Beanes best draft since 2018. 2 monster additions to the offense making Josh Allen’s life much easier. Who needs a good defense when you have that kind of fire power ?
  2. I love the fact that he has a basketball background. Served a lot of great TEs well.
  3. Guard guard guard PLEASE 🙏
  4. They absolutely will, but I think Buffalo wins it by a narrow margin. McDermott taking over the defense could potentially be huge + Rousseau taking the next step (he has steadily improved each year from 4 to 8 sacks in year 2) along w/ Elam. Cook & Shakir also for the offense. The roster is going to be much improved this year as the young players in key positions continue to develop. It also depends on Rodgers. If he returns to 2021 form then a wildcard for Buffalo is very possible. No way is he as bad as he was last year, I think he will be somewhere in the middle. Jets & Miami are no longer free wins and that’s a fact. Those days are over. Jets will be the true rival this year. I think Saleh is the real deal.
  5. I disagree. Doug Flutie had a historical career and saw success in 3 different leagues. And is a NCAA and CFL HOFer. His role should be well-cemented in the story of football. IMO he is well worth mentioning.
  6. Rodgers quickly goes from best QB in the NFC to maybe the 6-7th best in the AFC. What a murderers row in this division. I still think Buffalo still takes the AFCE, but I have a feeling we will see the Jets in the playoffs.
  7. Hopkins isn’t a WR that wins with speed. He’s a great route runner w/ even better hands. I don’t think his skills are the type to diminish w/ age especially w/ the lesser amount of wear & tear he has. Maybe a 2nd rounder is too high, but either way I just don’t know how anyone wouldn’t be happy to get a player of that caliber. I don’t think there’s a chance it happens. I just voted in the poll
  8. F yeah. Tell me who could possibly fall in the late 2nd to the Bills that could contribute as much as Hopkins? I doubt anybody and even if there was a player, who says Beane would even draft him? They rolled the dice on Diggs and it paid off immensely. If Beane gets the chance then he will most definitely pull the trigger. He’d be stupid not to. Buffalo is in win now mode. Grab the highest rated G in the 1st and an athletic project MLB in the 3rd, let AJ Klein hold it down the first several games. Bank on the 2nd & 3rd year players to improve and you have a SB team.
  9. All very fair points and minus QB the 9ers have hands down the best roster in football. I also want to see what Purdy can do now that DCs have a good amount of tape to strategize with in the offseason. If Purdy can build on last year then you are probably right, but that’s a big if. Is it a given that they aren’t gonna roll w/ Lance? I’m not up to date on their QB situation.
  10. My friend still gives me **** about Locker to this day. And Clausen. Both massive busts
  11. Yep. Mmm hmm. (Will somebody please get this reference??)
  12. I remember buying this guys football card in Vegas for like 1.50 Edit: I have the 2nd one I believe
  13. Henry to the Eagles would certainly make them a shoe in for the NFC championship if they can keep up their pace from last year. I still want to see Hurts dominate for one more year until I’m true believer. I think Henry is well worth their 30th overall pick. The Eagles have the O-Line to get the most out of him. This would make me terrified if I was a Cowboys or Giants fan.
  14. I want the Pop Warner one
  15. Whoa. I looked it up. He ran a 4.27. I stand corrected
  16. I swear this board has some kind of fetish for undersized white slot receivers
  17. Right? Arguably the best player on the defense and certified All-Pro. And you can’t leave Allen out of the conversation considering the huge amount of draft capital (who otherwise could’ve given Beane more chances to acquire talent) used to move up and the fact that the pick actually hit for the most important position. Diggs = 1st Round pick in my book. Another massive hit. Some of these so called “busts” still haven’t even fully developed yet. Rousseau, Basham, Elam, etc could all become great. OP should make this list a few years from now. It’s too early
  18. Yes, Mahomes is the best at the moment. I don’t think that’s even up for debate. Allen was supposed to be a project QB and the fact he broke Marino’s record is mind blowing considering he didn’t really put it all together until his 3rd year. On track with Rivers?! Those Chargers teams were Fing STACKED w/ HOF talent on every side of the ball. I actually had to go back and check out their mid 2000s roster. It is even better than I remember. Imagine if Buffalo had a Tomlinson/ Sproles/Michael Turner trio, Antonio Gates, Vincent Jackson, Keenan McCardell as their #2, prime Shawn Merriman as their pass rusher, the list goes on & on. Rivers is Jim Kelly if you ordered him on Wish. They are not even in the same stratosphere as far as the actual talent of the position. Didn’t Allen beat him in the playoffs?
  19. Allen is not just “very good.” He will be a HOFer when it’s all said & done regardless of a ring. Also, It takes a team to win a championship along w/ good coaching, drafting, LUCK, etc. it’s totally unfair to put it all on the QB. KC has simply been better in all those those other facets. Put Allen on those teams and I’m sure he would have at least 1 ring. I could care less about MVP awards and other accolades. How has that fared for Lamar Jackson and countless other MVPs/Heisman winners?
  20. Championships fine.Best statistical start? Didn’t Allen just surpass Marino for most TDs in a players first 5 seasons?
  21. Spiller. Hated that pick and still do. I know Lynch was having his problems, but Fred Jackon was certainly capable of leading that backfield. And it amazed me that people on forums were still trying to justify it. To be completely honest I wanted Jimmy Clausen so though both were gonna be equally terrible picks.
  22. I remember when he did the same thing when Mike Vick was on track to signing w/ the Bills
  23. Yeah, and will that help w/ concussions? Tua should start playing with a Kelso helmet.
  24. You are really gonna pin W-L records on a WR? Also, that TD was the only one Revis gave up the ENTIRE year. Of course those stats look pedestrian because people forget just how dominant he was during the 2011 season routinely shutting down the most elite WRs. Revis was not just the best CB, but perhaps the best player in the NFL in his prime if you look at the difficulty of the position and the production versus him and his counterparts.
  25. To this day I’ve never seen a WR run routes the way Johnson did. It was hard to run press coverage on him because he would just juke out the DB taking 4 or 5 steps running backwards/spinning around before even breaking off into his route. It’s like him and Fitzpatrick were playing street ball out there. I know people will say he only got around 80 yards and a TD against Revis each game, but nobody was even coming close to that at the time. As somebody posted earlier, you don’t get 3 straight 1K seasons on accident. With the way Josh Allen improvises on the fly I think him and SJ would’ve made an interesting tandem. People just don’t want to be reminded of the drought years anymore, but there was a handful of really special players on those teams.
