Colts: Anthony Richardson out for the Season
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall
Forget Jim Kelly. The fact they didn’t come away w/ one SB with a TEAM FULL of HOFers in all 3 phases is a travesty of the highest magnitude. Damn you Ralph. Damn you… -

Minshew is the next Fitzpatrick. -
I was one of the koolaid drinkers here when it came to Gabe Davis. I really thought that he would finally hit his peak in a contract year. I think at this point he is what he is and is not going to get any better. You could certainly do lot worse though. He’s a mid-tier #2 with slightly inflated stats because of who is QB is. If you put Davis on a team like the Cardinals I don’t think half the fans would even know who he was. If he doesn’t accept a fair contract then I would rather roll with a rookie. Buffalo absolutely needs to go WR in round 1.

Are people really that unhappy with our 4-2 Bills?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it’s mainly about the recent injuries to 3 very important core players with a touch of the ineptness of Dorsey. -
The biggest blunder of the game IMO
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh yeah? Like when he threw a duck to Taron Johnson last year to end the game ? These earlier plays often get overlooked because it’s not as dramatic, but they all have an equal impact whether it’s the last play of the game or the 3rd play of the 2nd quarter. -
What kind of football background do you have?

I was angry before Bass even kicked the FG lol actually I got upset when they called that stupid pass play to Knox. Should’ve been 3 runs and a punt. Plenty of posters here break it down nicer than I ever could so go read thru previous pages. You put someone at damn near the 50 w/ a timeout and 1:30+ on the clock then you are asking for trouble and it nearly happened (the refs probably saved us.) Some people aren’t grasping how lucky the Bills are to have pulled off a win. -
Tyrod Taylor in Buffalo
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Bleeding Bills Blue's topic in The Stadium Wall
I made a post about Tyrod last summer that got a lot of negative backlash and asked why guys like Ryan Fitzpatrick got more love over a guy that never even got us to the playoffs. To me, Tyrod definitely has a role in the story of the Buffalo Bills. -
McD and Daboll hate each other probably 🤣

The biggest blunder of the game IMO

I texted my brother before they even made the decision that they better punt the ball. This is one of the few moments where being conservative is a good thing. The Giants haven’t scored an offensive TD in 3 games and that was WITH their starting QB healthy. All of the sudden they were gonna drive 70-80 yards for the GW TD w/ a backup QB and decimated O-line ? Against the best pass rushing team in the league? Trust your defense that you’ve dumped multiple resources into and let Oliver/Rousseau/Floyd do their thing. -
How was the crowd last night for those that went?

The biggest blunder of the game IMO
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because he just missed the previous 53 yarder. McDermott should’ve ran the ball, forced the Giants to use their last TO, and let Tyrod Taylor engineer a 90 yard game winning TD drive against a top defense. Good luck ! I really don’t know why this is so hard to comprehend for some people here. -
The biggest blunder of the game IMO
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. It’s okay to be conservative in that situation. Against any QB worth his salt I would be okay with the FGA, but you gotta put your chips on your defense to stop a journeyman making his first start in 3 years. They should’ve never been put in that situation where they have to defend a short field against an offense w/ 4 downs to work with. This is true. I was referring more towards Buffalo’s mistakes That defender made a great play and timed their punch perfectly. -

Obviously he was shaky because he missed 2 FGs he could make in his sleep. It was a rare off-day for Bass. -
Why wouldn’t it? I feel like gritty wins build character

Daboll beat himself, but we know Giants fans are going to blame the refs. You trust your defensive line u dolled out millions of dollars and multiple high draft picks too. You have faith in your own players and scheme. I just feel like it’s a losing mentality. Punt the ball and let Rousseau and AJE cook. That’s what they were drafted so highly to do -
The biggest blunder of the game IMO
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because you trust that your defense is going to hold an offense (starting a backup QB ) who hasn’t scored a TD in 10+ quarters. -
The biggest blunder of the game IMO

Absolutely. It was a crap non-call and I’d be furious if it happened against the Bills, but the refs made it rain flags on us during the London game. -
The biggest blunder of the game IMO
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
They would have to score a TD regardless ! Forget about the 2 point conversion. They would need to go 90 yards instead of working from damn near mid field. I thought it was absolutely idiotic. -
The decision to kick a 53 FG when already up 4+ points knowing your kicker has been shaky and shanked another 53 yarder earlier in the game. Missing the kick would put the Giants in good field position w/ a time out to work with and ample time to dink & dunk their way down to the red zone. If McDermott would’ve punted, it would’ve placed the Giants around the 10 (who haven’t scored a TD in multiple games) and made them drive 90 yards! This decision would’ve eliminated all those Trent Edwards check downs and forced Tyrod to make multiple big plays. I’m sure the analytics would back this up all day. I know it’s irrelevant now, but the Bills are darn lucky to have escaped this game w/ a win.
