  1. And Xavier Worthy is a woman to woman beater.
  2. The more I look into this signing, the more intrigued I am. His versatility is off the charts and he actually produced in every roll. He is also as fast as Keon Coleman.
  3. I’d be comfortable as hell. 70.5 sacks the past 5 years. Those numbers are absolutely unreal. I don’t see any sign of him slowing down. He is well worth a late 1st and one of our 3rds. Hendrickson would instantly propel the Bills defense to the top of the NFL.
  4. There’s no way Cinci is going to trade him inside a very competitive conference.
  5. Taylor Heinicke is my number 1 choice. I always loved the way he played in Washington. He’s definitely capable of going at least .500 if Allen goes down for 4-6 games which would keep us contenders in a weak AFCE. He’s got the “gamer” factor that QBs like Gardner Minshew & Fitz have. 3500 pass yards 313 rush yards 21 total TDs and 15 picks in his only full year as a starter. My second choice would be Marcus Mariota. I am a firm believer in backup QBs with explosive speed/scrambling ability. They don’t have the chemistry with pass catchers that the starters do. It’s important to be able to generate yards. Scrambling ability will help get first downs and buy time for receivers to get open. Mariota is still only 31. People are going to hate on this one, but for my third choice I am going with Daniel Jones. The guy has ZERO business ever being a starter, but I believe he has the talent to be one of the better backups in the league. Similar to Josh Allen, the offense won’t have to go through too much change when switching over to Jones. With a 70-47 TD/INT ratio, he wasn’t atrocious. His consistency was terrible though. I think he could pull a few good games out of his *** if called upon. Edit: The more I think about it, Daniel Jones would actually be my first choice. I have no idea why I put him third.
  6. This is very true. 24 QB hits yet only 8 sacks. He IS getting pressure though
  7. If Beane plays his cards right, it’s entirely possible to beef up the DL in one offseason. We saw him do it on the other side last year. I would love one of the big 3 pass rushers Garrett/Hendrickson/Crosby, but a Sweat/Rousseau tandem w/ AJE rotating in is not too shabby. I think Beane goes DT in the first round and possibly trading up if a top 20 prospect ends up falling.
  8. I hope you’re right. I’m not a numbers guy so I can’t figure out the cap situation.
  9. Where are the posters who chastised Beane for trading down with the big bad rival Chiefs? Show yourselves. What a sick **** Choking out someone is incredibly dangerous and should be an attempted murder charge, not an assault. I bet it was a woman too. The Chiefs are easily the biggest scumbag team I’ve ever witnessed. My hate for them has exceeded the Patriots by a landslide.
  10. Kelsay should’ve pulled a Myles Garrett and knocked out the opposing QB with his lunch pail.
  11. IDK how I feel about this. As a lot of posters alluded, he disappears for stretches. I feel like the money could’ve been better invested to a high level FA or trade. We are not a rebuilding team. The Bills are literally 2 blue chip players away from dethroning KC. Maybe Beane knows something we don’t? Maybe he realizes Garrett/Crosby/Metcalf will be unattainable? The positives are he is a homegrown player that can rack up 8-10 sacks along w/ being force against the run. Going into year 5 does he have the chance to get better? I’ll give the Tremaine Edmunds argument that he is still only 24. We shall see. Trust the process !
  12. I understand where some people are coming from. There are definitely issues on the defense, but Bernard is generally not the problem. He does have a habit of getting lost in the crowd of bodies once in a while, but I think getting bigger at defensive tackle will offset that issue. He and Milano are so similar in the way they play although I think Milano is better against the run. It helps so much against the pass when you have athletic LBs with superior range, but you sacrifice getting pushed around. The league (and Bills especially) seems to be trending more towards a more physical running style again so we’ll see if Bernard and McDermott can adapt. As I said on an earlier post, they played the Ravens as good as any team has so it gives me hope. Just gotta find a Pat Williams clone.
  13. The AFCC showed me everything I needed to know as far as Benford’s importance. Look at the defensive performance with him in the lineup during the regular season versus when he is out. It’s night & day. I mentioned in another thread that Beane likes to lock up players before they really “earn” it. He bases it on future performance and that allows him to sign them at a cheaper rate. Did it with Allen, Oliver, Bernard.
  14. Von Miller is what he is at this point. A solid rotational player that can make big plays here & there. He’s got the knowledge, but his body is failing him. Every once in a while he’ll show flashes of the old player he once was. I think he’s an asset if he does take a major pay cut. Not a bad guy to have in the lineup if your team gets hit with injuries.
  15. I’ve noticed Beane does a lot of his extensions early basing them more on potential so he ends up getting them cheaper than if he had waited. He was out for 4 games.
  16. One productive season? First of all, he has only been a starter for 2 full seasons as he basically red-shirted his rookie year. Secondly, you are saying he wasn’t “productive” last year? How about the game ending interception against Mahomes? How about containing Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson in the divisional? The best team in the NFL IMO.
  17. 143 tackles, 6 1/2 sacks, 3 picks, 3 fumble recoveries, 10 TFL in 2023 That is one of the best stat lines I’ve ever seen from a LB and he passed the eye test as well. He is absolutely elite IMO. Last year was plagued by injuries, but I can think of only a 3-4 other LBs I’d rather have than Bernard when he is fully healthy. He also tends to make plays during the most crucial moments. The Mahomes interception to ice the Chiefs regular season game comes to mind.
  18. Drafted & developed in Buffalo, extremely talented, great attitude, and is the shot caller on defense. What’s not to love? James Cook should take notes.
  19. I’ve seen numerous threads about the Bills defense being “too small,”switching to a 4-3, etc. Bernard has always been the main culprit for these posters. I’ve never seen anybody actually call him a bad player, but that the overall scheme relies too much on small, speedy players. As far as Cook. It’s not a good look posting contract demands on Twitter with your brother chiming in also. We’ve been down this road before. He deserves to be the TBD villain. He brought it on himself
  20. Between Garrett, Crosby, Hendrickson…Beane HAS to get one of them. This is no longer the Bills rebuilding. We are only a couple defensive pieces away from dethroning Kansas City. A star pass rusher is the biggest piece along with an elite safety (who could currently be on the roster.) I just don’t think the Bengals would ever entertain this trade to the Bills unless they ridiculously overpay. I think their best bet is Crosby, but Beane obviously needs to inquire about this trade.
  21. The current TBD whipping boy. People complaining about his size. All he does is make huge plays at clutch moments. One of the only true elite players on this team. Thank God he is finally locked up.
