  1. The pre-season isn’t meant to appease the fans or even for them to win the game. How dumb would they look if Coleman gets lit up and injured for the season opener? The biggest goal is always to come out of the preseason unscathed, not to win. We have 17 regular season games plus the playoffs to watch Josh Allen throw bombs.
  2. Back up QB = worse I agree. Tannehill would’ve been a great insurance policy. People say the season would be over anyways if the starting QB goes down, but it’s not always gonna be a season ending injury. If Josh were to go out 4 games or so, I guarentee he would go a respectable .500 in that event. We now know w/ Trubisky, the defense is going to have to play lights out and Cook will need to summon his inner Barry Sanders for the Bills to have a shot. I just don’t get why they brought him back. He went 2-5 w/ Pittsburgh and played horribly in the process. Either shell the money over to get a top backup QB or sign a high-ceiling developmental guy who can learn behind Allen. I never understood why some of the worst backups float around the NFL for so long (and this goes the same for coaches.) Why field a guaranteed bust when you could take your chance on catching lightning in a bottle by playing a rookie who showed a little bit of magic in college?
  3. Yeah, but what if Josh is out only for a few games? Would be nice to win 1 or 2 of them instead of going 0-3. Trubisky is trash. I wish they would’ve got a developmental QB in the draft who they potentially could use as trade bait down the road.
  4. Nah, he sucked. Relied wayyy too much on Josh pulling miracles plays out of his ass. Brady is a breath of fresh air because he knows how to run a balanced offense. I can’t even remember the last time Buffalo had a 1000 yard rusher. (Looked it up, Shady in 2017) The win streak at the end of the season to ***** the division title was a thing of beauty and they did it largely without their best skill player. I am excited to see what Brady does w/ a full off-season. The only con I can think of is Josh running the ball too much and taking hits, but I think it was a do or die mentality since the playoffs were still up in the air. I think Brady told Josh to pick up the 1st down by all means necessary. Edit: did they really bleep the word s-n-a-t-c-h ??? 🤣
  5. Nah Josh will definitely find the guy he trusts the most that will have over 1000.
  6. My point is Buffalo got some great years out of Diggs while aiding the development of Josh Allen. Gave up a late 1st and SHOULD get back an early 2nd. That is not bad at all. Not ideal that it was a 2025 pick, but it could’ve been much, much worse. Diggs is now on the wrong side of 30 and we had him during his prime years. Sucks that Buffalo didn’t get a ring out of it, but clearly from a production standpoint, the Bills got plenty of value out of him for what they gave up. If they hit on that 2nd rounder from the Texans (who they got from the Vikings) along w/ Diggs having a down year, this trade may look to be a steal
  7. That kick to send the game into OT against Houston was pretty clutch
  8. I think it would look better w/ the current charging Buffalo edit: and a matching uniform
  9. Good. I hope he has a great year
  10. Off a cliff ? Diggs still had almost 1200 yards and 8 TDs. I get that most of it came in the first half of the season, but Buffalo switched coordinators. I am in the minority, but I think getting a 2nd for a player u got 4 years of stellar play from who u originally traded a late 1st rounder for is not bad. Better than letting him continue to whine and getting nothing for him when he hits FA.
  11. I feel like people are sleeping on Ty Johnson. He has the advantage of knowing the playbook and has put up proven results in very limited action (37 touches, 10 first downs, 4.4 ypc, 9 yards per rec, 100% catch rate) People automatically assume rookie RBs are going to pan out, but it’s not automatically a given. I love Davis and especially love his upside as a pass catcher, I am just trying to be a realist. Ty Johnson is a bowling ball out there and I never noticed any drop off in production when on the field. He also has good hands. I am hoping one of these guys can develop into a legit multipurpose back. Most likely will be Davis, but I will definitely keep my eye out on this TC battle.
  12. Definitely early, but Joe Milton’s measurables are scary good.
  13. "I wrote after last Thursday’s practice that Milton is the “wow” quarterback at camp— the guy with the best size, best athleticism, and biggest arm. Now I’ll take it a step further: Milton outplayed Maye over the first six practices of camp. You can’t tell which player is the No. 3 overall pick (Maye) and which is the sixth-round flier (Milton)," Ben Volin wrote for the Boston Globe. NFL veteran Jacoby Brissett is taking first team reps while Maye comes in at number two but is lacking the wow factor everyone is looking for, despite getting an immense amount of reps. Volin also noted that Maye was the only quarterback to not throw touchdown pass during the red zone period while Milton threw consecutive touchdowns on limited reps.” https://www.si.com/college/tennessee/football/joe-milton-outshining-drake-maye-at-new-england-patriots-training-camp-01j44s6h1gw8
  14. I wish this board would stop glazing Andy Reid so hard. He’s been a HC for 24 years ! And just started winning. This is his 2nd team and he’s got the best QB in the league. People acting like Mahomes isn’t that dude who’s play style is more ‘off the script’ and is largely dependent on instincts and maneuvering the pocket. It is not Andy Reid’s system that makes Mahomes who he is. I am 1000% sure he would dominate on any team. Sure, Reid schemes guys open for him, but that offense is run largely through 2 of the best ever at their respective positions. I want to see how the Chiefs do when either of those guys goes down. McDermott’s one huge gaff was the 13 seconds game, besides that, the Chiefs have been much luckier in the injury department come playoff time. Reid also 3 times the amount of experience than McDermott especially in big games. The Chiefs definitely have a better offensive supporting cast around Mahomes, but that could change this year w/ Kelce another year older, their WRs constant legal problems, and Worthy already dealing w/ injuries. I also think Buffalo fields their best defense in the McDermott era and will be much more superior than what KC has.
  15. Josh Allen seems kind of boring off the field, but that’s a good thing
  16. It’s the top 100 players from the year 2023. Previous years shouldn’t matter. Bernard played like a demon and had the stats to back it up. IMO, he was the reason we lost to the Chiefs. Like people said, he SHOULD be on the list, but he won’t !
  17. Agreed. This is super gay
