  1. Is that really what Jets fans want ? An average QB that might berth them a Wildcard slot every 2-3 years? And that’s if everything goes the right way. There’s nothing worse than being “in the hunt” every single year and landing a draft pick just out of the top ten. We went through it with Bills fans. Even the worst teams still have the excitement of the draft. Out of the bolded, Joe Milton is player from this list that I would take a chance on only because he’s a completely unknown with insane measurables. Daniel Jones is also someone I think could end up putting it together down the road to become a decent bridge QB.
  2. It wasn’t an insult or compliment. TO ME, it was a fact. He doesn’t have what it takes as an NFL QB, especially one good enough to overcome the cursed Jets. I don’t mean physically as Fields will always have a place as a nice change of pace backup, but mentally it doesn’t seem like he can process the field fast enough. People saw 2 very unlikely QB redemptions in Mayfield & Darnold recently so they think that’s the norm.
  3. Let’s be real. He wasn’t going to be making any waves with the Jets anyways.
  4. I think Shakir is much better than his numbers indicate. Brady emphasizes a more democratic approach when it comes to play calling. The Bills aren’t BAD at WR. They just lack any true top end talent, but they are definitely full of #2/3 options. Hence Shakir gets lost in the mix. Plus a big chunk of offensive production comes from combined running which takes away from the receivers. Josh won an MVP last year. It’s clear who the REAL culprit is, the postseason pushovers defense. People are really still complaining about a well-balanced and efficient machine of the Bills offense. Please..
  5. Iconic. Best helmets in ALL OF FOOTBALL. I’m hoping this will become a permanent mainstay.
  6. I really hope you’re being sarcastic.
  7. This more or less my thinking. We know Josh can score 45 TDs. The point is for other guys to contribute. Cook has been a great start. As awesome as Josh running it is, I’d like to see Brady tone it down more. We’ve got some great RAC options all over this offense.
  8. You’re the real Superstar, champ. 🏆 🎊 don’t ever sell yourself short. This forum wouldn’t be the same without u. Well, we know he can run fast so there’s that.
  9. Absolutely ridiculous signing for an over-the-hill player in their mid-30s by Beane that set this defense back tremendously at the time. Beane couldn’t foresee an injury, but should’ve stayed away based on his age !
  10. I’m hoping this happens with Bosa… TJ Watt is worth every penny. It’s too bad the Steelers don’t have an offense worth a crap.
  11. Herbert is overrated, but let’s not pretend he’s garbage. Buffalo would’ve killed for a QB of that caliber during the drought years. Josh Palmer wasn’t in a bad situation (when looking in from the outside at least.) Let’s hope it was a scheme issue.
  12. What the hell bro ? Baltimore ?? You had me thinking the preseason was starting tonight. It’s July. Enjoy the rest of the summer. Josh Allen isn’t going anywhere, he’s under contract.
  13. Massive credit to Allen, Beane, and McDermott for taking Buffalo from perennial laughing stock into yearly contender. As much as people like to dump on the FO for drafting “culture” players, they had the same mind set when going afree Allen. As amazing as his measurables were, the mind & mental make-up is the most important thing a young QB can possess. We’ve seen big, athletic freaks come & go in this league. I think most people here can agree that the Josh Allen era will never be forgotten even if they never end up winning the big one. For the same reason people still talk about Dan Marino, they will talk about Allen because of their sheer dominance especially compared to their peers. A championship is a team award. I wish people would drill that into their heads.
  14. Josh Allen’s playoff stats stretched out to an entire year would be MVP-worthy. Beane/McD really need to get their defense clicking this year.
  15. I keep hearing this but it never happens. Josh Allen’s turnovers (when he WAS turning it over) generally didn’t affect the outcome of games hence the W-L record. The last one I can think of is the Vikings game 2 years ago where Allen threw a pick in the RZ in OT. I think the gunslinger label was fabricated by the media. When your entire offense is as QB-centric as the Bills, you are bound to throw picks. Obviously, Allen isn’t a surgeon like Brady or Brees, but I think he deserves much more credit for his accuracy and command of the offense. Other NFL QB’s might have a better TD-INT ratio, but they also aren’t putting up 40-50 TDs either without throwing double digit picks.
  16. Thank God I can proudly say I was never in the Josh Rosen camp.
  17. This is the video that really sold me on Josh Allen. I mean I always knew he was a good guy, but this just proves to me just how big his heart really is.
  18. Sauce Gardener is all hype. Cool nick name, big market, cocky = overrated. Jets think they have the next Revis, but I think he’s closer to Jalen Ramsey. Essentially paid 2 Christian Benfords for 1 Sauce Gardener… I absolutely love watching this franchise crash & burn. They’re going to have to luck out like Cleveland did, draft top 5 every year, and accidentally fall into a talented team. This is why I respect Beane who has put together a great team with later picks and not overspending.
  19. Love those early 2000s era Chargers uniforms and of course the famous powder blues. Shame they couldn’t get to the SB even once. Easily the most talented team during their prime, but didn’t have the coaching to bring them over the top.
  20. Jets are just so desperate for blue chip talent, they’ll take it where they can get it. Besides, if you aren’t paying a huge % of your cap to a QB then that’s the time to splurge on other positions. Maybe they are trying to do what teams like the Vikings and 49ers do and build a solid team first to pair w/ QB of the future.
  21. I also find it weird the Bills are so extremely successful in the regular season against the Chiefs and yet they can’t get one win or lucky break/call in the big games. Last matchup was filled with so many terrible spots by the refs, one resulting in a turnover (on downs.) In a one score game is inexcusable. If the average fan can see it on tv then it is a BAD spot.
  22. True sleeper? He wouldn’t have been one last year, but for this one it is Curtis Samuel. I truly think he is going to emerge as a top a 3 target in the Bills offense (combining rush/rec.) Joe Brady needs to be more creative. Samuel has proven for a long time that he can ball. IDK what’s going on or why they even picked him up if they don’t know what to do with him. Hopefully this is the year.
  23. I’m curious as to what his actual role is
