  1. Dan Orlovsky is declaring an “upset alert.” Maybe POSSIBLY in Foxborough, but not happening in Orchard Park. The Yankees just eliminated the Red Sox. Time to add the cherry on top this Sunday.
  2. That’s interesting. I never knew Jim Brown even played Lacrosse.
  3. (or be decent in) Just wanted to bring a new discussion to the board. I think Josh would be an insane point guard in the NBA with the ability to create offense on his own. A physical freak in the mold of a pre-injury Derek Rose. Football I would say defensive end. With a bulkier frame & the same tenacity he shows at QB, I think it’s possible.
  4. They screwed the pooch big time on that one. Mac Jones threw for 342 yards 2 TDs & no picks against one of the better defenses in the league. If he continues this production for a few more games then Shanahan is going to have a big decision to make. I was actually worried when Mac Jones went to the Patriots. I’m not a big college football fan, but I love to see Alabama and other SEC powerhouses duke it out. While he didn’t have the physical tools, I thought his accuracy & mechanics were phenomenal. You saw these things break down a bit facing the much bigger & faster pro pass rushers. Sometimes we see players of all positions that were previously busts go to a new environment and succeed. And what better place for a quarterback than San Francisco? Real talk, if I was a struggling QB, I’d do everything in my power to work w/ Shanahan. Guy is a literal QB whisperer. Mac looked sharp, decisive, and in total command last night. Definitely worth keeping an eye on their situation.
  5. Having a RB like McCaffrey opens that offense up so much. His receiving skills are every bit as good as most WRs.
  6. Another reason I think Mac Jones has been so successful thus far in San Fran is because their offense is so much more like the Alabama one he excelled in.
  7. I suggested this the day he left the Jets and got laughed off the website.
  8. If he keeps playing this way I think we could have a controversy. Especially when Purdy comes back and has a bad game.
  9. Competent? Dudes been a surgeon out there. He looks night & day from New England. I guess it’s the 49ers/Shanahan effect.
  10. I definitely was a Cook hater in the offseason. I thought production would dip slightly, but the Bills would be able to replace him for the most part. I’ll eat that crow and ask for seconds. Really doesn’t matter if I was wrong. I’d rather be wrong than have him fail just to prove I’m right.
  11. Yes. That’s where Fitzmagic was born. Here’s RAMS Fitzy with an amazing comeback against the Texans. Truly one of the most entertaining players to watch and a top 5 Bill for me.
  12. Early is an understatement. How do you possibly judge a pick 4 games into their rookie season? This reminds me of when 80% of this board thought Bernard was a bust.
  13. Honestly, I think the Bills need to implement an entirely different defensive philosophy, but that will never happen with McDermottt here. Like everyone else, he has his pros & cons. Great leadership, loved by Josh/players, USUALLY well prepared, gets maximum out of DBs, built solid trenches on both sides, and great at making half time adjustments. Cons are his defense is small & injury prone, refuses to stray from defensive philosophy, tendency to start mediocre vets over talented rookies, and horrible clock management (maybe the worst I’ve ever seen.) I hate to say it to the McDermott/Beane haters but they are here unless they have multiple losing seasons in a row. If Josh wants him here then that is all that matters. Bills fans have to live & die and die with this defense. I hate certain aspects of it, but I still support it. But he changed the entire culture here and I love him for it. But know this. IT COULD BE MUCH WORSE. Don’t think just because u have a franchise QB that it’s the only reason Buffalo is successful. I posted this in another thread. See the offensive line and coaching Joe Burrow has to deal with… (I know this is Browning, but this is the STARTING line) 😬😳
  14. Imagine if Josh Allen had to deal with THIS kind of coaching and roster. ( I think we really take the front office for granted sometimes.)
  15. I’ve always felt like his skill set translated much better for college football, but most definitely could’ve been good in the pros if he had the will to do so.
  16. Still one of the most entertaining college players I’ve ever seen. They can’t take his NCAA accomplishments from him.
  17. It’s impossible to answer this question without knowing the availability of Lamar Jackson. I will revisit this thread with a more clear answer when that information is revealed.
  18. I just don’t understand what a defensive player is supposed to do.
  19. I’m loving it as a Bills fan. Woody Johnson is doing great 👍
  20. Their only hope is getting an established QB that they didn’t already ruin or a historically good defense and running game like Rex Ryan.
  21. I remember when Nick Folk hit the game winner during the Cowboys Monday night game. Absolutely crushed my teenage heart. Can’t believe he’s still making kicks and career longs to boot (no pun intended)
  22. I’m not getting into a debate on Arch Mannings NFL prospects. My point is they are going to ruin whatever highly touted QB prospect they draft with their top 3 pick NEXT* year.
