  1. If we select Jonah I hope he is the next Joe Thomas or Zach Martin if he kicks inside. I see him as a Jake Matthews level player which is good but not elite.
  2. Good one very good one but I dont see the similarities as prospects. Joe Thomas was universally rated the top tackle in his draft nobody said he should kick into guard spots. Joe was the exception not the rule.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've never heard of an elite LT with short arms if there is 1 let me know either way there few and far in between.
  4. If Oliver and Hock are off the board please Beane put your dancing shoes on and bounce . I can care less where we bk up to in the first it could be to the end of the 1st and it won't matter. For me it's simple I got 6 elite positional players in this draft 1. Quinnen 2. Bosa 3. White 4. Oliver 5. Allen 6. Hock Once these guys are off the board the drop off from 9 to 32 in talent isn't much. If u find a team to move up from 28th and give u a 1st next yr do it. If a team offers a 2 & 3 for us to bk up to late teens do it. This draft is perfect for moving bk and I realize plenty of teams probably want the same. With players like Sweat, Gary , Simmons and DK all possibly falling we should do the same and take advantage of the situation. What looked like a top heavy draft in the top 10 has taken a major hit with these injuries to Simmons, Gary & Sweat now it's time to get out.
  5. I hate Jonah I'm having nightmares of this pk. Please trade bk with anyone u can even if it means going to the end of the first rd .
  6. Most likely no but we might have enough for Hock & Simmons or Tillery.
  7. It should not be overlooked Hock played in a pro system at Iowa.
  8. The cheaper the better but I would be willing to give up 2,3,4 for him all day.
  9. Let's trade up for Simmons with the amount of players we added during free agency all 10 of these pks won't make the team. I say offer our 2,3 and 1 4th . This is like trading for a top 5pk in next yrs draft.
  10. Murphy & Tasker the worst combo I ever heard in sports radio history i get nervous the brief times that I listen. To make things worse they will host the first round of the draft. U couldn't find 2 guys that had less knowledge of the draft then these 2 guys. Wgr and the Bills should of at least put CB, Joe B and Sal with them. I mean it's the draft we need guys that know what there talking about.
  11. If we're not willing to pay Hughes and Clark don't do the trade. Doesn't make sense. Unless we can trade Hughes for a late 2.
  12. This would be great especially if we can get Hock at 12. Then turn around and take Simmons if he makes it to 30 if not take Tillery .
  13. Other then the obvious players Bosa Quinnen Allen White I have 2 other guys worth a pk at 9 that's Hock & Oliver. So that's 6 players . I dont like Gary, Sweat, Taylor, Jonah, Burns at 9 I rather trade bk add some pks and get the same quality player at 14-15 . Here's my top 16 players 1. Murray 2. Bosa 3. Quinnen 4. Oliver 5. Hock 6. Allen 7. White 8-16 are 2nd tier in my opinion any one of these players can go from pks 8-16 8. Burns 9. Sweat 10. Taylor 11. Haskins 12. Jonah 13. Gary 14. Wilkins 15. Fant 16. Dilliard So why not trade bk and draft anyone of these guys except for Haskins. Here's a mock in this Scenario 1. Cards- QB Murray 2. 49ers- DE Bosa 3. Jets- DT Quinnen 4. Raiders- DT Oliver 5. Bucs - LB White 6. Giants- DE Allen 7. Jags- TE Hock 8. Lions- DE Sweat At pk #9 we still have the options we get a call for Haskins at 9 with Washington, let's say we get a swap in 1st plus there 2nd and 3rd pk. 9. Skins- QB Haskins 10. Broncos- LB Bush 11. Bengals- OT Taylor 12. Pack- OT Jonah 13. Fins- DE- Gary 14. Falcons- DE Burns 15. Bills - Wilkins or Fant
  14. This is my worst fear and very likely to happen if this is the case take the best trade down we can.
  15. I guess u don't value TEs that can block like a tackle in the run game and stretch the seems in the passing gm as well as lineup all over the field and create mismatches. I much rather have Hock then any of these offensive lineman in this draft. I believe the lineman are highly overrated in this draft. J Williams - doesn't even have a locked in position yet flexibility is great if your a bkup but for top 10 pk I want a guy that's solidified at his position and is really good not a maybe . J Taylor- another guy people say can kick inside . . That's a red flag. We don't need a team full of Jacks of all trades masters of none. A Dilliard- Dilliard is a LT but never faced great comp in pac 12 and never needed to run block .
  16. I like Burns but his play weight concerns the hell out of me. I believe he was playing at 231 last yr. I seen him on NFL network and the dude is very thin. I realize Von Miller was somewhat the same size coming out but if u take another look Von is 6'2 and Burns 6'5 there lower bodies look completely different. I want my pass rusher to be thick in legs and backside. Burns is very talented but we need to be careful with guys like these. Btw Von Miller is the exception not the rule of great pass rushers.
  17. There will be 20 or more offensive and defensive lineman drafted in 1st rd.
  18. By the chart it would take a 4th & 5th along with the 2nd & 3rd to move up from 40 to 22. Btw look out for Sea as a possible trade partner also at 21
  19. If the Bills are looking for value then taking Dline early is there best bet especially at DE. Here's how I see the value board DE- Top 20 of 1st DT- Top 32-40 1st/ Early 2nd LB- Top 15 1st CB 20-64 1st/2nd Saftey- pks 20-50 1st/2nd Wrs - 2nd - 6th Rbs- 3rd-6th TEs- 3rd-5th Oline 1st-4th
  20. Most if not all these players will not dominate from day 1. The draft especially in the early rds are more about taking players that have elite skills but it's more of a projection then anything else. In the 2nd rd threw the 7th lots of teams start drafting more on a players production and scheme fit because most of the elite athletes are off the board. Here's the question though would u take a edge defender like Gary or Sweat that u project to be a borderline pro bowl player that can get u 8- 10 sacks a yr or would u rather have a TE like Hock that's projected to be a all pro caliber TE.
  21. I would take Oliver first but Hock will be my 2nd choice. Other then the obvious guys of course like Bosa, Quinnen & Allen. I believe in taking BPA @9 with need. I wouldn't take Sweat or Gary over Oliver and Hock just because we need a edge defender . I believe those 2 players have more upside then Sweat and Gary . So at the end of the day just take BPA the whole draft that's how we get better doesn't matter what side of the ball there on. Like u said we are not ready to win the Superbowl yet no matter who we draft.
  22. Damn shame what happened to Cowart he could of been a hof player or at the very least wall of fame. He was on track for some unreal # of tackles that yr he got hurt. He was getting 20tks on the regular. I believe he had close to or over 200 tackles going into that gm vs Tampa Bay in week 11. I was at that gm in Tampa I'll never forget it we were in the middle of the playoffs run challenging for the division at 7-3 going into that gm. He wasn't the only one that got injured that day a few others went down including Keion Carpenter . We ended up missing the playoffs at 8-8 and Wade was fired at the end of the season and drought had begun. I'll never forget it. I believe the next gm vs Miami Wade had to move us to a 4-3 D because we suffered at least 5 injuries on defense in that gm vs the Bucs. We were winning that gm into the 3rd quarter also vs a great Tampa team. Honorable mention to this list another player I believe career got taken short by injury and his life taken short soon after his career ended was MLB Damien Covington this kid played with a ton of passion next to Speilman was a tackling machine. I loved watching that duo in the middle of our defense. Covington last gm was against the defending Champs the Broncos he had 22tks and a sack that day we ended up losing in overtime 23-20. The Bills were a LBer factory from the 80s to early 2000s.
