  1. Just a coincidence bud let us know when your going next time so I can put some money on the Bills 😂
  2. U pay him no prb. U don't take a player in the draft worrying about what your gonna have to pay him in his 2nd contract and if u knew u would have to pay him top dollar it makes that much more sense to select him no matter the position they play.
  3. Please stop the comps please. Lol. I love Lorax but at times he was a complete liability in Mcd scheme. Btw Zaven Collins is not even a average pass rusher I would rather trade bk and select Jabril Cox . JC can cover has blazing speed and will be a stud in the NFL mark my words . He reminds me alot of Dion Jones . Btw we select ZC what makes u think Mcd would use him in this compacity we didn't use Edmunds like that and he's the same type of player Collins is even better coming out of college people said the same things about him that he can rush. Another thing Collins is a little slow for my liking he's gonna get abused to start his career. The NFL is not in Tulsa!
  4. He's the guy that his man tities were flying all over the place during his 40 at the combine. He dropped to the 3rd I believe and has made everyone look foolish for not drafting were he was originally supposed to go in the 1st.
  5. Can anyone hear say it with me THE CAP IS A JOKE! Good job Chiefs attacking your weaknesses once again. Show our guys running our team that continuity isn't everything unless you continue to get your butts kicked by the same team over and over again. Which btw is coming once again .
  6. I like both Elijah seems like the safer pick with less of a ceiling but a higher floor then Rondale. RM is the boom or bust prospect out of the 2.
  7. I don't see the need either but if McBeane sees a stud at a spot why not take him. DT1 might be a sneaky need who really knows how good Star will be this yr plus it won't hurt to get better there that's what BPA is all about like Mcd says Iron sharpens Iron!
  8. Onwuzurike to me is much better prospect and player then Barmore. I'm not In love with the idea of either one in the first because the position to me is loaded in middle rds with talented players like McNeil, Shelvin, Brown, Twyman and others that have great development potential.
  9. Also I hope we can tweak the scheme a little this yr . Mcd doesn't call alot of stunts or twists nor do we ever use any wide 9 formations on obvious passing downs.
  10. I seen Jim Minos on Buffalo Fanatics podcast on youtube he said 2017 was a total team effort with the final say with Mcd . Whaley and his staff scouted the players brought Mcd and his staff the players that fit there schemes. I'm pretty sure Beane operates the same way.
  11. I believe part of the prb is Mcd scheme when it comes to the Dline it's pretty vanilla. U don't see many stunts, twists, Slants & we never use wide 9 alignments.
  12. This was the perfect off-season to rebuild the Dline and contracts that were handed out weren't bad at all. We needed to rebuild the edges of our defense I know it's not the popular opinion but I would've even cut Hughes as well as Star , Addison , Butler & Jefferson basically everyone except for Harry, Oliver, Epenesa and Zimmer
  13. I agree plus we got to get ready for Josh to get his big money . The best teams that usually draft late in the first usually go pure BPA. If u have a CB ranked 41st on the big board & a WR or RB ranked in the 20s u take that higher ranked player. Moving forward the draft is emensly important can't take any risks to fill so called needs. The best case scenario is a DE or CB that's rated very highly on our board falls to us but I can't see that happening especially at DE it's a poor yr for that position and at CB maybe Farley falls to us or to a lesser degree Newsome. Either way we go BPA more times then not were going to hit on that pk.
  14. I don't know exactly where i read this but towards the end of the season the last 7 gms or so Harrison was the #2 DT in the NFL against the run according to PFF . I'm pretty sure it was trending on twitter.
  15. Dion Dawkins wasn't a faller though I was speaking in terms of trading up for a player that's fallen on the board. There's usually a reason they have fallen but then again not all situations are the same. Phillips I would not at all entertain moving up for he's already a big risk with his concussion history .
  16. My bad he tried to trade up for Moss and Mcd traded up for Zay in a strong Wr class . I believe they did that because of the Wr coach we hired from East Carolina but still just shows u sometimes familiarity doesn't work. I'm not trying to say our front office is bad or anything like that just making an example of how trading up doesn't work.
  17. I agree mof I don't think there's much of a drop off from the CBs in the 2nd or even 3rd rd. Mcd is great at developing talent in the secondary we can wait for a Campbell, Odebo, or Trill Williams type .
  18. Eric DeCosta is a great GM also. He's worked with Newsome the whole time and has taken over and not skipped a beat.
  19. Haven't we learned our lesson about the faller in the draft especially trading up for them. We traded up for Ford, Zay, Edmunds & Moss everyone Beane trades up for hasn't been worth it except for Allen thankfully but he wasn't considered a faller at that point. Edmunds has made the pro bowl twice he's not a bust but he wasn't worth moving up for in a strong draft for Lbers both Leonard & Warner are much better players then Edmunds and I believe Leonard went in the 2nd rd and Warner in the 3rd . We gave up a 3rd to get Edmunds only to use him at the wrong position he should be a SAM linebacker he doesn't seem to have the instinct to play in the middle always seems like he's a step behind . I really hope this yr he finally figures it out and becomes a beast but as of right now he's the Donte Witner of Lbers. I'm on team go pure BPA or trade bk no player in this draft is worth trading up for in my opinion especially since the 2nd threw 5th rd seem like there loaded . I'm also not a fan of drafting for need that always seems to backfire more times then not.
  20. I loved Chinn during the draft process I was hoping we would take him or Dobbins in the 2nd hopefully Aj can develop this yr and make me forget and these other 2 players.
  21. To be honest chasing needs is not what we need . Every team has needs the question is do we have enough difference makers to overcome said needs. At the end of the day it's the difference makers that win the chip. The Bucs last yr had a average at best secondary but they had the difference making talent in the front 7 to mask that deficiency. The yr before the Chiefs had an average LBer core and Secondary and at best a average Oline but guess what the difference making talent made the difference. Now when it comes to the Bills we have 3 said Difference makers Allen, Diggs and Tre White we also have a few guys we are relying on to take that next step into being said players like Edmunds and Oliver we also have some borderline guys like Poyer , Dawkins & Hyde . This coming draft we need to try to hit grand slams. Adding ETN & Rondale Moore can get us to the next level on Offense. Yes I said it the next level I know it's crazy to think of but we can get better and score more pts. On Defense we can still add a couple Vets to Solidify that side of the ball. There's still CBs like Sherman, Heyward and Nelson available and at Dline Clowney, Griffen and Kerrigan are still out there. If we can get a combo of any 2 of these guys for a good price that can go along way to getting us to the Show and winning it all.
  22. I like Phillips but those concussions are very concerning I wouldn't take him until #61 he probably won't be there but i don't think it's worth the risk at #30. Rousseau didn't test well and I never really liked him to begin with . Ojulari I can't see why u wouldn't like him over these guys he's explosive and plays with some power for his size he got some work to do with his technique but the sky is the limit for him he has potential to be a elite Edge player.
  23. I hope they go a pure BPA no matter the position other then QB or 3T DT . Everyone talks about positional needs like G/DE/CB but what I really think we need are more difference makers . I prefer the difference makers to be a DE or CB but @30 unless something drastic happens and a player falls to us like Ojulari, Paye or Farley at CB then I don't believe the next Teir of players are worth a late first . CBs like Samuels, Stokes, Melifonwu and Newsome are all 2nd rd pks same for the DEs like Tryon, Phillips (injury concerns) or Rousseau. I don't think it's worth reaching for anyone of these guys it's better if we can trade back and load up on picks. Now if there's no trade I say take skill position players like ETN, Najee or Williams and then move back up into the high 50s for Rondale Moore . Imagine adding ETN & Rondale Moore to this offense all of a sudden we are one of the fastest elite offenses in the NFL. We go from averaging 31 last yr to 37 this yr. I know many TBD members might not like this but think about it we need to add more speed to this offense we can't expect to roll out basically the same guys as last yr and think we'll automatically net the same results teams will study what we did last yr and be more prepared for us this season. I'm thinking we use a pk next yr and 1 of our 5ths to move up for Rondale and the rest of the draft we can go Defense & Offensive line. If we take this type of approach we can add a vet Corner and DE after the draft maybe we can get Sherman and Clowney and we can sign a back up Safety like Malik Hooker for cheap. I think with these types of moves we can challenge for a SUPERBOWL title this yr.
