  1. Bradbury knew the system also . He was drafted when Mcd was there . Hindsight is 20/20 your right. But I called Norman being useless when we signed him.
  2. I respect the dialogue that's what boards like this are all about. I think u bring up some very valid points. What I was basically saying is we need to consolidate on the line we have bkups getting starters money to play 30-40 percent of the snaps. I realize Mcd likes to have a rotation but there's other ways to get this done then spending over 50mil on the dline and getting poor results in return. We need some studs that play 60-65 percent mixed in with some cheap vets or draft pks rotating in on occasion. Last yr I was dumbfounded by all the money spent on DTs in free agency . Murphy was inactive all yr with his 10 mil salary. I mean Norman and Murphy got 16 mil basically to do nothing. We should of signed James Bradbury instead . The Giants got him for 3yrs - 45 mil and that was steal. Imagine Bradbury and Tre on opposite sides .
  3. They traded away Dee Ford and Cut Eric Berry, Steve Nelson, Justin Houston . They added Tyrann Mathieu, Frank Clark, Breshad Breeland and Alex Okafor
  4. Its not that Star is a bad player I respect Star game immensely. I'm just not sold after a season off that he can just come back and play at the same level as before he opted out. He's gonna have to add back the weight. I heard he lost quite a bit of size during the opt out. Harrison Phillips was great in the last 6 weeks of the season. It took him some time to fully get healthy but I think he's the run stopper where looking for at the 1 tech. There's also a few big run stuffing DTs in the draft and even a few guys in free agency we can get for close to or near vet minimum to back HP up. Why not build around Oliver and Phillips at the tackle spots?
  5. It frees up 4.7 mil this yr and even more next yr when u factor in dead money.
  6. Tell that to Andy Reid and Bill Belicheck. Btw I didn't know DTs stop TEs . I guess U learn things everyday. If your saying he keeps the Lbers clean and allows the Lbers to roam freely to cover the TEs then u might have something there but I believe that has more to do with stopping opposing teams running games. Btw we also lost Shaq and Jordon Phillips why didn't u mention this guys also.
  7. Did u see what KC did to there D after they lost in 2018 to the Pats. They didn't sit back and relax off there success from the previous season. They went out and made the necessary moves to get them to the next level. We should do the same. The players we brought in last off-season were subpar at best and none of them earned there money. Hughes has been in decline since his great yr in 2018 and I expect him to even decline more this coming season. Star is coming off a full yr off who knows what kind of decline we will see from him at the age of 31. Last of all your very silly for thinking I'm silly.
  8. So instead of giving a reasonable rebuttal to what I was saying u rather try to insult and be humerous. There's nothing Madden about what I was saying. I gurantee we cut at least 3 of them. Beane signed these guys with easy outs from there contracts with little to no cap hit when it comes to Jefferson, Addison and Butler.
  9. I wouldn't stop there we need to blow up this line especially from the edges. I would cut Jefferson, Hughes, Addison and Butler as well as Star. This opens up nearly 35 mil in cap space. None of these guys have earned there money. Hughes is a great leader on this team i would offer him a pay cut to stay. Opening this cap space allows us to go after players like JJ Watt, Trey Hendrickson, Haason Reddick, Yannick Ngakoue & Shaq Barrett if he's available. Any combination of these 2 would be a massive upgrade over those other players that we cut. The only guys I would keep are Epenesa, Oliver, Phillips and Zimmer. There's a ton of good players in free agency on the Defensive side of the ball. We can't miss on a opportunity to reload on Defense.
  10. So in a way our Running gm was like a microwavable pizza . The toppings , ingredients and dough all almost as bad as each other. Lol.
  11. Keep your head up buddy, no doubt we're living in tough times but once we get threw this we won't take our freedoms for granted and life will be much better for it.
  12. 💯%. The refs also called the clutching , grabbing & rerouting the Chiefs were allowed to do vs the Bills.
  13. The inconsistent officiating is the most fustrating thing about yesterday gm as opposed to when the Bills played the Chiefs. One can only wonder is this done by purpose or not. Tony Romo was talking about the Chiefs holding as if it was known thing if that's the case the refs should call as they see it . To me inconsistencies like this are done by purpose the NFL fully knows what teams want to do . They also want to steer the story lines in there favor. I believe if the Bills are too ever win a Superbowl were gonna have to be heads and shoulders better then our opponents in the playoffs . We need a difference making running back and we also need to blow up our edges on our Defense. I would cut Hughes, Jefferson, Star , Addison & Butler these guys collectively make over 35mil per season and there not worth it. Build around Phillips and Oliver at the tackle spots. Get us some speed rushers. We need a 3rd down specialist to rotate with Epenesa on the left side and we need speed to power guy at the RE .
  14. It really depends on how much Mcd respects the Bucs. If he puts out the same type of game plan as he did vs the Chiefs we would of gotten blasted.
  15. The problem is that yr was very strong yr for Lbers in the draft. I loved Darius Leonard and Fred Warner they both were there in 2nd and 3rd rds . We made a massive mistake trading up for Edmunds just so we can move him to a position that doesn't showcase his talents.
  16. Anyone see Haason Reddick this yr he was moved bk to his natural position on the outside and was dominitate with 12.5 sacks on the yr. He was considered a massive bust before this season. Edmunds needs to move outside were his skills will be on full display . I definitely would like to also see him play with more intensity. Ed Oliver is also playing in the wrong spot he needs to be in a attacking role as a 3 tech. I just don't understand why McBeane drafts these guys high then they want to move them away from the positions that got these players drafted highly to begin with. Same thing is happening with Epenesa now he's better suited for LE and we got him on the right side. Teams usually move players drafted in the latter rounds to new positions not at the top of the draft. These guys haven't played up to there potential and the blame mainly falls on Mcd & Frasier for getting to cute.
  17. LBers are a A at least. Corners A also can't deny the depth
  18. I agree with u whole heartedly but if we want Allen to be like anyone why not go for Aaron Rodgers with legs.
  19. This is true but he was 20yrs old and was making the calls for #2 ranked defense on the field that took massive responsibility. I'm guessing he was playing with his head on a swivel. He did seem to get better in the latter part of the season and I fully expect him to be much better in yr2
  20. Bears #24, 49ers #20 & Bills #16 are ranked way to far bk plus the Dolphins are #12 . Let's just say I don't respect there rankings or opinions.
  21. I dont know if any one answered this yet but Reg played LE and faced much weaker comp vs RTs while Bruce played the 5 tech RE vs LTs. Basically Bruce played against much harder comp vs elite tackles while playing a position 5tech that really doesn't equate to monster numbers he put up. Bruce should be way more respected based on these facts . I'm talking about respect from the media but I guess playing in a market like Buffalo hurt him in that manner.
  22. I say stand pat and see what Shaq, Murphy & Eli have to offer. With the addition of Oliver it should open things up for left DE. Why both ends Hughes is one of the best in the league we can at least franchise him and if we don't like his price that he's demanding we can at least trade him. If we can sign 36yr old RBS we can keep 31yr old DEs . Especially if Hughes has the type of yr he just had.
  23. I think those are rookie stats. We need to see a leap to at least 3500 plus yds passing 26-30 td passes. We don't get these types of passing numbers in his 2nd yr then that's alarming.
