  1. Meanwhile in other news, the “right Josh” tossed yet another multiple pick game to go with 130 yds in losing to a bad Atlanta defense...but who’s counting?
  2. Oh there’s lots of stuff you probably shouldn’t do lol, but 10-15 secs to get the cheese going doesn’t do the mayo any harm in my experience...like I said, this is not about anything normal with sandwiches ?
  3. slow ????...this guy (or gal) gets it! Every vehicle looks better dressed to the 9’s in Buffalo regalia. Probably did it for the resale value ?
  4. Thousand island brushed on some baked tilapia, broiled to a nice crisp??
  5. I guess part of the question would have to be, if you did a personal challenge of whether or not you could go without for a period of multiple days/weeks (Peter King always talks about doing a sober October for instance) without a drink? How bad would you crave one? Could you even do it? I like what someone else already wrote, does it interfere with (and that should be someone else telling you whether or not it does) the rest of your life in any way? Difficult subject
  6. The first one sounds off, even by my out there standards, but I’m not judging. #2 sounds great! Chips in sandwiches period is a can’t miss, esp. Doritos
  7. Have you ever been made fun of for a sandwich you’ve created because the ingredient combinations don’t make sense at first glance? I’ve got several, which is why I ask...butter, peanut butter and honey was my first creation as a youngster, and I graduated to mayo, cheese & salsa (nuke it to melt the cheese, yum!!). There are more, but I want to hear from you! Needless to say my wife who is very anti-normal sandwiches, is constantly amazed at my creations, and not in a good way. I say don’t knock it till you’ve tried it ?
  8. Considering he could’ve/should’ve been terminated, it qualifies as a slap, sorry, just my 2 cents...also, his proportion of a fine would rightfully be higher than for Hughes, given Hughes was simply reacting to something Ellison started in the 1st place.
  9. It’s crazy how easily the Bills handled the Skins on Monday night in 93 (around halloween) with Rypien looking like a JV starter—anyone remember that game? I had a friend of mine tape the game on VHS and must’ve watched it like 50 times, until the tape wore out. The Bills produced something crazy in the 1st quarter alone, like 200 yds of offense and 2-3 tds before the Skins knew what hit them...a great game for all the right reasons!! And of course the Bills beat those same cowboys in Dallas, early season 93 after SB XXVII, 13-10, go figure
  10. That’s part of the reason why it’s hard to take their statements seriously. Kind of like partisan politics where the other side is always in the wrong even if they say the sky is blue. In order to be credible, they should own egregiousness where “called” for, no pun intended. I get it though, carry on.
  11. The NFLRA is a joke and makes itself just look silly by trying to argue this slap on the wrist was excessive somehow ??‍♂️
  12. As the kids these days would say, solid burn...or is it they just got served? Either way, ??
  13. If this doesn’t count as an inherent conflict of interest down the road for any future Bills games he works, IDK what is. The fact he’s still allowed to carry on after such a shameful incident at all, will simply cement in a lot of fans’ minds the reality that the officiating is inherently suspect/open for bias taint, and that’s the real shame going forward.
  14. ^^^^This. No question he's made strides in his playcalling over the course of the season from where we were, but the jury stays out until the year is done and we can evaluate over the entirety of the season, and probably into next with better weaponry to design around. I was one of the ones calling for his head early on, and have definitely backed off of that for a number of reasons, but am completely sold that he should remain "the guy" going forward? Not yet.
  15. I agree with you about the timing of when they should've moved on from him, but I think there is still some value left to get back for him to the right team, but just not as much anymore.
  16. And we all know that when that time comes for a RB, the dropoff is like hitting a wall, with few exceptions to the rule. In space he is still dangerous, but I always got the feeling watching him this year that at the slightest bit of initial contact, he would never break free, minus the Barkley Jets game. Could he still have a career renaissance? Sure, but what would you bet on it?
  17. A case study on how to milk/parlay one good playoff run into years of coasting while getting paid handsomely—but now coming to it’s inevitable end. Time to play taps on his career in Baltimore. But given the overall state of QB play in the league versus how many are available with any kind of competence, I’m guessing he would never really ever end up unemployed, so long as his health holds.
  18. You too can be awesome at horseshoes and hand grenades, just like me
  19. I'm glad he at least defined his beef as limited to the FO and not the fans/city as a whole--that said, what's the point of bringing it up and then not being upfront about whatever the issue happens to be? Now it turns into a bunch of pointless speculation, ergo, all of us here...;) That was definitely a fail on his part to paint himself as sole heir to the title of "Mr. Buffalo." We could start a whole thread of which current and former players are most involved in the community and I'd be surprised to see him at or near the top. If he's trying to gain the sympathy of the fans, he's going about it totally the wrong way, IMHO. Links? What %? Can't say that I've ever heard negativity like that from the former players who were invested in playing for Buffalo beyond a year or 2 rental terms, like TO.
  20. Surprisingly, the numbers don't bear out that Ryan was blitz-happy in Buffalo anymore however, after an initial blitz heavy start earlier in his coaching career. IIRC, as a side note, Super Mario often grumbled about being forced to drop into coverage packages instead of rushing the passer... Regardless, a pretty detailed autopsy of what went wrong with his D, for anyone interested, is here: https://buffalonews.com/2017/01/14/bills-2016-defensive-autopsy-rex-ryan/
  21. Percy! Now there’s a name of a can’t miss speedster that I wish the Bills had thrown some investment at...wait, what was that? ?
