Lots of TV show themed threads here recently, I thought I’d throw in another one, kind of a niche segment, but sometimes that Brit humor just seems to hit the spot. Any favs? My list in no particular order, would have to include: -Come Fly With Me -Keeping Up Appearances -Are You Being Served?

Like a few others here, I followed the board for quite some time before setting up my own account and starting to post—if it was nothing more than another joyless internet swamp, I definitely wouldn’t have even bothered—besides the football talk focusing on the team I’ll follow until I’m 6 ft under, I’ve also enjoyed shooting the breeze about lots of other just as important topics, such as whether or not Die Hard is a Christmas movie...so also wanted to give a shout out to all the members who make this place worthwhile!! My wife’s fam has always done no laundry on New Year’s Day, has to have collard Greens ? as part of the traditional meal same day, and the Christmas tree needs to be down before then...yes, it’s exhausting to keep up with it all sometimes, and I personally think it’s a bunch of hooey. But then again, I’m with @Nextmanup about the whole knock on wood thing, so what do I know?!

Agree totally Shady...so I've found that approx. 6 minutes at a rolling boil produces a soft boil that's just right, and pretty much anything after that up to 9-10 min is a good hard boiled egg, imo.

Yes please! Any which way, they're just plain good. My wife on the other hand, can't stand them, and I feel sad for her loss. I soft boil them to take as a snack during the day now and then, and I also like them fried over easy or scrambled, on a sammy with cheese/mayo or salsa. I could go on, but you get it.

24. Loved the real-time narration premise, Kiefer was great as Jack Bauer, and it was appointment viewing with my buddies during my bachelor days. However, it ran for almost 10 years and I lost interest with the progressively weaker storylines ca. Season 4 or so, jmo.

With Daboll calling the plays I'm more worried about how many points he thinks we need to score/gm on average than McD, who obviously gets it, and did all along as far as I'm concerned. I do think that we are going to see significant improvement on the O this year--how could we not? An established starting going into the year, draft picks that hopefully will make instant impacts, and a couple of key FA pickups that hopefully all coalesce into being competitive week in/week out!

So the most recent case of an owner who was basically forced to sell given the allegations against him, Jerry Richardson, begs the question, how comparable is the seriousness of the conduct? Richardson was accused of making inappropriate overtures/statements for the most part. So there is definitely precedent to push an established owner out the door. I have not seen any of our fine Patriots poster contributors around this thread yet, although admittedly the posts are coming through so fast it's hard to keep up and know for sure.
