  1. Apparently also Dan Fouts and Sonny Jurgensen 🤷🏼‍♂️, fwiw never even went to a SB before donning their gold jackets.
  2. Coaching matters. If the rosters are on par, then that’s the main difference. I’m definitely not a huge Dorsey fan or enjoy him cutting his learning curve teeth at this offense’s expense.
  3. The game cannot be reduced to the QB with or without one WR. The rest of the supporting cast, luck, and oh ya, coaching, matter more imho.
  4. I would fight anyone who says a QB has ever played a better game than Josh against NE and then the KC 13 sec game…they even changed OT rules so that ending couldn’t happen again, since we all know Josh would’ve scored again 👍👍.
  5. Maybe he can finally afford to get the big screen 📺 he’s always wanted for his basement? 🤔
  6. At the very small rural school I attended in western Pa growing up, we played flag football in place of "real football" for cost and enrollment reasons, and it was still a ton of fun. Emphasis on speed, longer developing passing routes (hardly any pass rush usually) and barely any running game to speak of. I'd definitely want to watch this in the olympics, but agree with others upthread that it's not apples to apples that the NFL guys would automatically be the best flag players as well.
  7. That's literally the only comp where that's true imho, because Andy's probably the best in the league at scheming open "easy" passes for his QB--put that same situation in say, New England for example with Mac n Cheese's offense, and see how that's been going?
  8. Without looking it up, IIRC Marvin's issue was that he would get to the playoffs and basically flame out the first round--at least we've made some inroads there. Also, Marvin's teams weren't even the best in that division many years, while we are division champs consistently. No clear comparison, IMHO.
  9. We need a kick the tires on Suh update thread even more!
  10. Saleh’s nonstop smirk gives me road rage. I’m normally better than that. 😬
  11. Thanks OP; well said, I agree with all of this. From your keyboard to Dorsey’s/McD’s ears…
  12. If true then I agree it seems odd. But there were a lot of odd things about this game, so it tracks.
  13. It’s just odd because all training camp we heard about the magnificent chemistry being built between various new guys and Josh such as Sherfield, Harty (nice to see his TD at least) to say nothing of Kincaid, that had us all wondering how HOF great this slot position would wind up being (not if, just degree of awesomeness), and then when the season starts it’s like last year never ended with no options apart from Diggs? That speaks to Dorsey imho? 🤷🏼‍♂️
  14. I hear ya good buddy. There’s definitely something off with this team, and the games we’re expected to roll in, we simply can’t, whilst the games we are told will be cliffhangers (e.g. Phins), we dominate? I get the whole playing down to your opponent concept, but this feels beyond that. Consistency for us means being inconsistent, and that’s no way to live. But how do we fix it? Maybe it’s time for the infamous players-only meeting? 🫣🤷🏼‍♂️
  15. We’re fans. That pass entitles us to agree with calls that go our way and sharpen pitchforks when they do not. I invoke my privilege to congratulate the refs on finally not throwing out a hankie for this play at least.
  16. Agreed; and the Bills should’ve self scouted enough to know that obvious fact—maybe this would’ve been a good time to inject some never before seen wrinkles, trick plays etc.?
  17. Respectfully agree to disagree. Belichick sans Brady scares no one.
  18. Will be eating out in Disney Springs Orlando (LAMP shoutout! 😂) at the Amazon rainforest cafe rocking as much Bills gear as possible.
  19. I’ll quietly do my best “Oscar on” Kirk impression…
  20. Was still in pjs (not bills themed) instead of the Allen jersey 🤷🏼‍♂️. Have learned my lesson.
  21. Same—notification from my NFL network app. Hopefully this won’t turn into a trap game for us now, where any old scrub suddenly “hangs” in there against our depeleted D, making it way too close!
  22. Just…why? About as fun as being the not so proud owner of several home brew VHS tapes of the Super Bowls that were recorded in the hopes of getting to rewatch those games over and over. Eventually I’d put on the SBXXVII game and marvel at how great we started and then stop it right before things started going south 🥴. SB XXVIII was safe to watch until halftime even!
  23. Not to worry, whatever Kline can’t handle I’m sure Josh Norman will be right there to clean it up…just as soon as he returns back to earth from that stiff arm…
