Just curious—how many TD’s does a QB need to be responsible for before you would consider something “breakout?” Just reaching into the grab bag and pulling out the 2nd Miami game last year where Allen produced 5 TDs, for example. But actually, I’m more impressed with his come from behind wins than anything else

When you can’t get a stop on 3rd and long (there was even a 3rd and 14 or some such amount IIRC the Giants converted), it’s tough to say your own O is to blame for that—while I certainly won’t absolve our own failure to punch the ball in early after Lofton’s deep catch early though -

The Giants chewed clock on basically all of their scoring drives, including 2nd quarter and into the 3rd when our D should have been able to still get off the field on 3rd downs against Jeff Hostetler. -
Are the Ravens in trouble with the league ?

It only seems fair that not only should the Bengals 1st round pick go to NE, but a raft of compensatory picks should be added as an administrative handling fee—those replacement SD cards don’t grow for free on trees you know. -

Still can’t get over that busted playTD to Lofton early—really set the tone for the game and showed remarkable poise by the offense (Kelly) in that moment -

Hmmm...and here all this time I thought it was our defense not being able to get a 3rd down tackle to save its collective life all game. -
Meaningful or Inspriational Lyrics

O holy night the stars are brightly shining It is the night of our dear Savior's birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices For yonder breaks a new glorious morn Fall on your knees O hear the angels' voices O night divine O night when Christ was born O night divine o night O night divine -

Wishing all my fellow Bills fans a very a Merry Christmas, and that the grinch shows up in Foxboro to take away all of their Lombardi repeating hopes this year -
Christmas music, classics or newer?

Let me recommend Pandora's "Stille Nacht" station then...always good for what speaks to the soul this time of year. -
At the risk of sounding off my rocker, I’ve bought 2 Allen away jerseys in the past year, one “authentic” from the Bills store for basically a cool hundo (shipping not included) and one for 40 bucks (shipping included) from Ebay, and brother, I like my eBay find a whole lot better. For starters, the official Nike one is all screen printed with absolutely nothing embroidered. Over time you can guess how that will hold up. My eBay jersey conversely is completely embroidered down to the last charging Buffalo, well stitched, and just feels well made all around. The colors are also more vibrant that way with thread, and the name plate is actually a separately sewn addition, as opposed to the official screen printed letters—like @Gugny, I’m never going back to the official price gouging that goes on, and will take my chances at hitting a dud along the way.

2019 Playoffs. 1st round
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure, but how about NE’s opposition? Similar figures I’d wager. I was thinking more specifically the Dallas and Pittsburgh Primetime game stages that were not too big in the moment for the Bills—that’s what I’d hang my hat on in terms of an amped up crowd not being determining factor in final outcome for these Bills...that’s my hope anyway -

The Bills have played better on the road this year however—going into Foxboro they were 6-1, IIRC. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Patriots Win Again

Awesome column OP, very well reasoned and thought out—appreciate your effort with this. -
This is just not credible, sorry. He outperformed the balance of the league’s QB’s that have played NE so far this year (also heard Tirico say it was the first deep TD given up by Gilmore all year, and tied for most passing TD’s in game against them) and was miles better than game 1 showing, so how can you carry that type of a specious argument with a straight face? We’ve gone 2-2 through the most difficult part of our schedule and were “in” every game. Things are trending up, but if you choose to always look at this club as a glass half full sort of thing, then I don’t know what to tell you. It’s the most wonderful time of the year...playoffs for Buffalo, Christmas around the corner and you negative nellies need to get with the program!!!

Since he can do things few others can at the position, I’ll happily deal with the growing pain lumps in between—adversity is a better teacher for future sustained success, imho

Get me the Patriots to play again. My feelings can best be expressed by the late great wordsmith Chris Farley. That is all. -

Losing to Tommy Boy always makes my skin crawl and blood boil—especially when we had the game for the taking. Nothing worse than seeing that smug punk win on fumes. But you’re right, more to play for still and we are going in the right direction overall with this team. I hope Brady comes back to NE next year so we can straight up beat him once and for all. Of course, playing them again in the playoffs this year and winning that one would be even better... -

I mean, did anyone think that first Giants team that got into the playoffs at 10-6 as a #5 WC was a SB caliber team before they punched their tix to play the mighty 2007 Pats and won? -
Just in case, don’t put it away yet

Priorities my good man—this is a primer to remind all of us that as happy as we all are to see the Bills finally do well after a generation of dog years we were forced to put up with, the fact remains that win or lose, those dearest to you will be there regardless, and they need you too—especially this time of year we should be maximizing quality time on the home front. Of course Donuts, that doesn’t mean you can’t sneak an ear bud with the radio call during for example, the commute from your home to the lights or other down time

Yup, all clear for that afternoon right now, good for us with that color scheme. But as for the game balls, well Roger, better keep a weather eye out, no pun intended https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/905fa4441da1bc949b195b1a355c33d6e70dd00f4555f31c545a344be632e20c Not coincidentally, the same look we had in this game, where we also "shocked" the world?? [Edit--except for the socks]

Bills not Browns breakout team of the year
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s also colloquially known as lazy reporting, and regurgitating an easy narrative bereft of even a Wikipedia search which would undercut said narrative. Good follow up gumshoe work on your part however, Donuts. Kudos!
