The geniuses who think we the fans just aren’t capable of consuming pro sports without fake adulation added to the mix, are missing the point that we all know it’s a once in a lifetime situation. The “fix” is worse than the reality they’re trying to literally paper over, which is the ultimate irony imho. The bigger question is how will this all impact even the need to try to obtain home field advantage throughout the playoffs (Other than the obvious of avoiding travel)?

I’ve found the canned sound on MLB games (particularly radio play by play where it almost comes across as echoing) to be off-putting and distracting, kinda bc I know it’s fake too? IRL makes all the difference. I’m sure this won’t be any better unfortunately. I’m with @Rocky Landing on this one. Catching the first few Bundesliga matches this year with no crowd noise was actually pretty cool, getting to hear the player shouts/commands etc was more entertaining/educational.

Of course I always wish that too. However, I am very stoked for what young Josh brings to the table each and every day [insert farmer/blue collar/lunch pail jokes here], and the improvements he’s shown along the way. Am definitely invested in his future here, and think he will do great things!!

I’ve had great luck on eBay, bought JA’s away jersey last year and home this year, about 50 bucks each, and sure seems like higher quality than the iron on 99 buck one I first bought in 2018, everything embroidered and heavy feel.

There’s retirement, and then there’s Favre style “retirement”...there’s always a market for experienced Olinemen and I’m sure his phone will probably still ring just to kick some tires and all, 2021.

Good points all. I tend to agree with both actually, otherwise you’re right, Fitzy would be HOF bound as a starter, not off the bench, for instance. You’ve got to have enough skill plus mental acumen as a balance regardless.
