The same argument would’ve applied to Montana, Kelly, Young, v. Elway & Marino in terms of supporting casts, yet they are all HOFers, without regard to who had what along the way. Little bit of chicken/egg riddle here—did the HOF QB make the supporting cast or did the supporting cast make the QB a HOFer?

I feel like his star has slightly faded since their SB window, in view of the strength of the young guns coming up as well as the staying power of the class before him; make no mistake, he’s top tier, but to say there’s no doubt that he’s the best? Win the MVP this year and I think your case is stronger, imho. I would put both Mahomes and still Rodgers above him, at the very least. And as a pure passer, Brees is still there too—then Wilson with a healthy Big Ben right behind him—then the rest of the young guns like Jackson and Allen who I think will be challenging for the title within the next couple years at current trajectories.

Seems like a genuinely good person both on and off the field, and makes it easy to feel proud that he’s the face of our program—armed with off the charts intangibles and crazy physical tools, will he be the new and improved Kelly of the current Bills iteration? I say with full optimism yes, certainly more so than any of the wretchedly ignominious hall of forgettable non-heroes we’ve trotted out since Kelly imho.

Super Bowl or bust this year!!! Great start, got some things to clean up of course (rushing, ball security come to mind), but overall so much more good than bad—and lifting of the 300 yd monkey also well deserved! But Fitzy is already leaning into the bad parts of his spin cycle, loves him some INT’s—we need to capitalize on that next week.

Order’s in. One for me to njoy with the kids, and one for the memorabilia safe place on top of the fridge alongside the 1999 edition Flutie Flakes, lol . Those of you with young uns will understand the strategic placement.
