  1. Too bad that "Some plays he'd like to have back" won't fit in one of those squares! I literally fell asleep on the couch last night with McD's pressers available on the NFL app on TV droning in the background--very soothing white noise I must say!
  2. So far the NFL teams have been very vigilant in doing what is necessary to keep the season rolling--but it's hard to stay so focused/careful at all times, we all see that in our own day to day--that said, hopefully by aggressively staying on top of contact tracing and the daily testing, etc. to bring about a course correction early, this will be a short-lived blip on the radar. Because by jove we need this season to play out and have our Bills be the last team standing on SB Sunday!
  3. @Virgil, one of your best column write ups ever. Fantastic job, and I love your description that we aren’t that old drought team anymore, ‘cause Allen won’t let us be! Like you so aptly point out, screw the gas mileage, we want the pedal to the metal QB play over what we’ve had since Kelly...
  4. I’ll happily start a separate thread posting those YouTube game gems anytime yinz guys want!! Spoiler alert 🚨: usually at the expense of the ‘Fins in January. Josh will be plenty capable of slinging it no matter what around Buffalo. And need I point out Rodgers plays in a worse clime, as did Favre, and Kelly put up MVP type numbers in ‘90 & ‘91 too...
  5. The most important quarter as Falcons fans will tell you!!
  6. Found this little gem in the way back archives: "Louis Oliver gained a measure of revenge from his benching in the playoff loss. He played the whole game, made 13 tackles (11 solo), broke up one pass and intercepted one in the end zone. He would have returned it 103 yards for a touchdown if he had eluded quarterback Jim Kelly. Kelly tackled him out of bounds, grabbing his facemask. But no penalty was called, much to Shula's chagrin." https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/fl-xpm-1991-09-02-9102030396-story.html
  7. And to think he neutralized the aforementioned Rams one-handed while refusing to be brought down to the ground--simply imposed his will in that moment--the sheer grit this kid has in spades is mind-boggling. IIRC the announcers gave him a similar compliment in that moment to what was often said about Kelly, that he plays QB with a linebacker's mentality--Buffalo Ball!
  8. Brady, Brady, Brady. Your timing once again has been impeccable. Look at you, leaving on top in the East when you saw the writing on the wall that your run would be cut off at the knees by one Josh Allen this year.
  9. @PetermansRedemptionTrademarked this avatar for just such an occasion 🧐.
  10. I vote @john wawrowbrings this up at the next media availability for Daboll?
  11. No worries! What we’ve been witness to through each game of this season so far, is plenty of mental toughness out of #17 no matter the scoreboard or situation. Back to back comebacks with the game on the line is the epitome of a mental test for a QB.
  12. I don’t often say this as a Bills fan, but I expect our O to routinely put up 30 or more over the course of this year now. That’s as potent an O as I’ve ever seen in the free agency period, so far. And tip of the cap to Coach Dabs—you’ve won me over in stellar fashion. Carry on!
  13. Actual footage of Goff during the 3rd Q today
  14. Goff is also a very good QB, he had some clutch throws today of his own in tight windows
  15. Ok then great, thanks for putting me back at ease —needed that! 🤓
  16. Is it just me or has he been the opposite of lockdown for most of the year? I hope this turns quick.
  17. What embarrassment of riches we have at WR! ‘Member when we had the worst group ever in 2018? I barely can either
  18. The mantle is finally deservedly passing, I couldn’t be happier. And I’d bet Kelly is too!
  19. Peter King will be forced to have a write up acknowledgment about our QB after this one—the team he beat was too legit to scoff at.
  20. I trust this staff to be able to correct and fix what needs to be. They’ve earned the expectation that they can and will.
  21. I get it. But more often than not he’s making teams pay overall.
  22. Sure it does—it means our franchise QB is capable of overcoming our D missteps!
  23. The best was the face mask call—even when fighting a sack he’s dishing out punishment!!!! I couldn’t even be mad at him for it
