Is it fair to say the Bills during the drought went about as far as a team possibly could without a franchise QB? Or did MW just not deliver the way we expected him to really do? Obviously during the Wrecks years he wasn't used properly, but during the Schwartz tenure he was?

I'd say getting Sanders for potentially 2 or 2.5 mill less than this is great--I'd even rather still give Smoke this kind of coin than AJ, but Cards you do you!

Well, hopefully whatever patchwork line the Raiders trot out this year will give his deeper route tree enough time to develop, otherwise, it will be a long/unfruitful season for Smoke. Wish him luck though. Also, Gruden loves him some ex-Bills!

This^^^^^. If you watch his highlight tape from last year, how many of Brees's passes did Sanders have to go dig down out of the dirt basically because it barely made it to him on intermediate routes? Just sayin'

Agreed! But he better get used to some speed/velocity differences on those incoming passes...I suppose playing with Big Ben years ago will help in that regard, lol.

Not a good look, but could've been much worse--it didn't turn physical thankfully and he willingly gets off the flight pretty quickly. Probably just having a bad day and heat of the moment lost his cool for a minute. But as if we needed it, just another reminder that in this day & age, you can't be careful enough with ubiquitous camera phones ready to catch you for a viral escapade at a moment's notice.
