Speaking of Oliver, in Dolphins game in a drive which ended by that amazing goal line stand (sparked by Ed on the first down), he was hurt on one play where he tried (or at least it looked that way) to trip Dolphins RB by stretching his leg sideways. The announcers said that he should be penalized for that. Is that correct? If yes, is it considered dirty play? It happened with 5.54 remaining it the 3rd quarter if somebody wants to look it up. Thanks.

I have no idea but it seems that trend now is to sign all good QBs after year 3, so I guess Beane will try to do the same, provided that Allen plays on high level whole season and resigning him becomes no-brainer. If not, then it becomes interesting. Hopefully there will be no doubts that he is FQB.

I agree and I noticed it too. Its pretty simple imo but somehow even some announcers don't get it. I am quite new to NFL, so judging from comment I'd say teams traditionally went for PAT first, which is weird. I guess people don't realize that you just need to covert one 2pt anyway and you only get a chance to adjust gameplan accordingly if you fail to convert it on first attempt.

I am looking forward Sunday. No matter how tough it is to play division games, both games so far were 'must' wins for us, and we only had to lose something. Next four games are completely different story, against teams which have currently 8-0 combined record, and are all really tough. I love it though. We are relevant and need to prove it. If we start with Rams this week we'll get a lot of respect. As for the game, I read what smarter people than me posted in this thread and I do think this game has 27-24 score written all over it. I hope that it is Bass who scores those two FGs

I don't think there is. Hopefully there will be soon.

He is also 3rd in rating, 4the in ESPN's QBR and 8th in completion rate. We all know its too soon to judge after two games but it is great nevertheless. What is funny is that despite Diggs being 1st in yards both Brown and Beasley still managed to have better averages in yards than last year. Its crazy.

I just watched that Game in 40 replay and just want to say that Russel Wilson is so good that it is not even fair. Cam Newton looked pretty good to me to. Bot defenses seemed to be average at best.
