  1. A woman calling the game? A WOMAN? A LADY? DISGRACEFUL! We'll be giving them a vote next
  2. imagine if the Bills had tried to trade away EJ after his first year, how many people would have made a serious play for him? Now imagine if they tried to trade Josh after this season, I think it's a safe bet there would be a bunch of teams who'd love to have him. It's all in the eye test. EJ never looked like he was capable of great things, at best he looked like he was capable of being efficient. Josh has made his share of bad plays, no doubt, but there have been many times this season where you watch and think "this kid could be really special with more work and more talent around him". Even his body language when he's on the sideline talking to his teammates, he has the IT factor that good QBs need. I'd be very surprised and massively disappointed if he doesn't take things to the next level next season.
  3. Jesus, he had Foster there and yet another drop
  4. McCoy's style just doesn't fit this offense
  5. Oh well, here are Nathan Peterman's career highlights to cheer you all up
  6. Here we go. Just pass on every down. I want Allen to get 300 yards on these bastards
  7. You want to hear something irrational? I HATE Tom Brady's shoes. The way he wraps the tape around the back so only half of the color shows. I don't know why, I just hate it
  8. It really grinds my nuts when the receivers drop passes
  9. There was a point earlier in the season where I was worried about Allen as he didn't seem to be getting it at all. Since he came back from injury I've become more and more confident in him. Still has a way to go but I think with an extra off season of work, plus a revamped offense around him he could be ***** deadly next season!
  10. I was much more impressed with Foster this week. The big catches are great, but this week he just sort of got his yardage here and there, and built it up gradually. When they showed his yardage on the screen I was really surprised he had so much
  11. I agree. My main interest has been Allen for weeks now. He has a LONG way to go but I love how he's come along this year. He's matured a lot in such a short time, and you know he'll work his ass off in the offseason to get even better for next year. I really think with some new offensive weapons around him and another off season to work on his game, he'll be much much better next year and will have some monster games.
  12. I used to be a big believer in defense wins championships, but the way the NFL is now, that's history. I'd draft offense all the way. Doesn't matter if you give up points, just score a ***** load yourself and you'll win plenty of games.
  13. Wowsers, I'm starting to feel so much better about next season. Get some better O linemen, a couple game breaking WRs, a new TE and we could be real good
  14. Darnold has such a square head, he looks like a Logo man
  15. I really like Allen's evolution this year. Ever since he came back from his injury he's looked like a different player. The game has definitely slowed down for him
  16. Wow, I thought marrone would never take hacket's tool out of his mouth. I always wanted marrone to remain our coach but to get rid of him as his coordinator
  17. As it's the bye week, I thought I'd look up some of the player's stats to see how they're doing (I don't generally follow stats all that much). Of course, stats don't always tell the whole story (White being a good example of this) but what the hell. Just the players that occur to me: Zay Jones - 37 rec for 392 yards and 2 TDs KB - 20 rec for 302 yards and 1 TD (I was actually surprised he had this many yards...) Charles Clay - 19 rec for 169 yards and 0 TDs McCoy - 111 for 380 yards (3.4 avg) and 2 TDs Marcus Murphy - 36 for 198 yards (5.5 avg) and 0 TDS Shaq - 20 tackles - 2 Sacks - 2 passes def'd, 1 forced fumble Harrison Philips - 21 tackles - 0 sacks - 0 FF Kyle Williams - 17 tackles - 3.5 sacks - 1 FF Star Lotullllllllllallllalllallalallalalay - 7 tackles Tremaine Edmunds - 70 tackles - 1 sack - 2 FF - 7 passes def'd Milano - 61 tackles - 1 sack - 2 int - 6 passes def'd Tre'Davious White - 33 tackles - 1 int - 6 passes def'd Poyer - 52 tackles - 2 int - 1 sack - 1 FF - 2 passes def'd Hyde - 33 tackles - 1 int - 3 passes def'd Taron Johnson - 35 tackles - 1 sack - 1 int - 1 FF - 3 passes def'd
  18. While the fact we have a lot of starters isn't a big thing in itself (bad teams are more likely to let their picks start because they have less competition) I do agree there are some good looking players in there. So far the defensive guys are more impressive, hopefully they can hit it out of the park on the offense in the next draft. What I do REALLY like is finding guys in later rounds like Milano and, fingers crossed, Teller. It makes the lesser rounds a lot more fun when you have faith that your front office can find diamonds in the rough. It also gives me hope that they might be able to turn the offense around more quickly than it might otherwise take
  19. Eli is an interesting one. I'm not sure of his career stats but never thought of him as a top tier QB, yet he has those 2 Super Bowl rings and I will always love him for beating Brady each time. It'll be interesting to see what's said when it comes time for his HOF eligibility. I'm sure loads of people would say he should go in, I personally don't. But again, that's based on me not looking at his career stats. I never believed Warner was a HOFer either but there you go
  20. In all seriousness, he is the kind of guy I could see running for president one day.
  21. I'd like to thank Nate for what has become my 2 year old's favorite counting song: 12 interceptions that John Murphy had to call, There were 12 interceptions that John Murphy had to call, And if only Peterman had been more careful with the ball There'd be 11 interceptions that John Murphy had to call...
  22. I'm not religious myself but I do agree people are allowed to say whatever they want about Christianity, whereas if similar things were said about so-called minority religions they would lose their job in a second. In this respect I sort of feel sorry for Christians who just go about their business and show up to church every Sunday but have to sit tight while people ridicule them
  23. No offense to any people of faith reading this, but it sort of creeps me out when these high profile sportsmen always talk about God and Jesus so much. Like when the Rams won the Super Bowl and the first thing Warner said when he received the trophy was "thank you, Jesus!" There's something odd to me about the belief that the Almighty chose you to win and the other guys to lose. What the hell did they do to tick Jesus off so much? I'll get flamed for this but I always wince now when Jim Kelly keeps talking about Jesus. I understand he's been through some terrible times with his son and his illness and religion is great for helping people through those kinds of things, but when people suddenly 'find' God they can't help but tell you about it every five minutes. It's like when people find veganism and then insist on telling everyone they meet "by the way, I'm vegan".
