Encounter with Chiefs fan following the game.

Shades of Mike Curtis -
Thanks for this nugget.

Seeing the Titans and the Packers swan dive their way out of the playoffs, it makes you wonder how much the first round bye ("more valuable this year than ever!") is a mixed blessing. Assuming you get through a first round playoff game without serious injuries, I think there's a lot of benefit to having played the previous week rather than having two weeks off (maybe more if your final week game was meaningless) and losing your edge. I wonder what the W-L record is for teams coming off the bye over the years.

Bills Offense is Broken, Sean McDermott Not Sure if It's Fixable What a difference a month makes.

Whatever you say about the injury (and who really knows?) the real point here is that there is NO DOUBT who is the best QB of the 2018 draft. Lamar was a good move by Baltimore at the end of the 1st round but he's a far cry from Josh. He's still probably the second best QB from that draft but with a huge gap to first.

Upon further review ... Spencer Brown is a BALLER
Dan Darragh replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
OK, OK, plenty of comments about this. I'm amending my assessment from "flattened" to "cajoled away from the QB" No matter what you call it, it worked. -

Does this mean that Cody Ford has "Lackawanna"? -
If you're like me you've already watched this play 50 times but notice what Spencer Brown does on this play: after the play was busted and Josh was scrambling, Spencer flattened Van Noy (53) not once but twice. Spencer is the unsung hero of this magnificent play. click here to watch

I didn't say I didn't care who won playoff games when the Bills weren't involved. I just don't have a 2nd team. Usually I just root against the team I hate more or if that doesn't work I root against teams from blue states.

I didn't even notice who the ref was on Saturday night. It should always be that way.

I lived in Cincinnati for a few years in the '70s and became a big Reds fan. But I could never stomach the Bengals because there is no such thing as a 2nd NFL team! If we destroy the Chiefs on Sunday you need to come clean and convert

most underrated move by Beane during his time here
Dan Darragh replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm hazy on the details but I seem to remember trading a player who we were going to cut to New England for a draft pick, then NE cut him before the season started. Not a huge win but turning crap into something, and on Belichik's tab. -
Bears and Dolphins request interview with Brian Daboll

Bears request permission to interview Frazier
Dan Darragh replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
True. Because of the Rooney Rule, certain guys have to get paraded in for interviews for the optics. Too bad, I always thought that the Rooney Rule hurts the people it was meant to help. -
Gronk on “Man vs the Arena” on his dirty hit on Tre White
Dan Darragh replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought that the suspension should have been not for the next game but for the one after, when the Patriots played the Bills again. They got to play us without Tre but we didn't get to play them without Gronk -
Can't say I really enjoyed much this season. Every game was either a blow-out or a pepto-bismol special. Remember that game where Josh led a big drive in the fourth quarter to take the lead and win a close one? Me neither.

I suggest that you test this thesis by asking for a $550 million raise. Or even $50,000.
