I believe Shakir has the highest catch% in Bills history and one of the highest in the L this year. Maybe someone can check me on that.
Also, he occasionally breaks 50 yard TDs by outrunning the defense.
I keep seeing this comment. They ran it 24 times and passed 13. Stafford's ATT on those 13 passes was surely under 2.5 seconds. He's very good at making quick reads vs. zone. If you want your pass rush to have a chance, you have to first stop the run and then force their receivers to have to get open instead of just running to open spots that are there for the taking.
Need 7 and then another 7 to start the 3rd. That might disrupt them somewhat, or at least give McD enough time to stop clapping so he can also stop his head from spinning.
I'd like to pretend like we could just bring everyone to the line, play man, and hope we start getting home, but truth is we're so gullible to misdirection and losing gap control we'd just give up TDs even more quickly.
For the amount of flak he got earlier in the season because he's not a #1, Mack has proven to be very useful this year. Hopefully, he has another productive day. He'll be needed.
Surely this point has been made already, but how great would it be for Hamlin to actually make the Pro Bowl, and then for some dumb team to sign him to a big contract so we can promote Bishop AND get compensated for it.
