I don’t have a huge problem with these rankings for the most part. Allen should definitely be ahead of Newton, Mariota, and Cousins. LJ is being overhyped but you are what your record says you are. I’d expect him to drop back in the pack once he plays better defenses. Allen is hovering interchangeably with guys like Brissett around 15 for me right now. Hopefully he continues to progress toward top-10 as the season goes on.

Bills Can Win the Division

What are you prattling on about? -
I maintain that was a great call with poor playcalling/execution. McVay did the same thing last year and it was celebrated because the Rams made it. It’s an aggressive call and I like it. I’d never be upset if McD made that decision and it failed. Play to win.

Its also RIDICULOUS that none of you can properly spell the word ridiculous. -
Buffalo Bills to fans on game day: Behave or be gone
eanyills replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People keep saying this but look at what any parade/festival/party/Allen Street is like in the city. It’s international waters where almost anything goes most of the time. When a downtown stadium comes, the opportunity for getting stupid drunk in public will still be there for people who want it. -
Duke Williams impressing again...activate him!

The team needs a third WR who is better than Zay or Duke as they are right now. Chances are neither are that guy next year, either. -
Feels like Ramsey to bills an option...
eanyills replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People buy into “the process” way too much. If the staff felt Ramsey would be a benefit to the team and the cost was right, regardless of his fit with the “culture,” he would be on this team. The process doesn’t mean never having any guys like Ramsey. It means building an environment where guys like him can thrive among the rest as part of a team. -
This narrative is a little exaggerated. Yes, the Steelers got dismantled by NE but they looked reasonably competent against Seattle. Fitzpatrick addresses one of their biggest weaknesses on defense, and based on their schedule, there’s six games they should win with Rudolph. If Rudolph plays well, they’re a 6-9 win team. 49’ers, Cincy twice, Miami, Arizona, NYJ, Colts. I’d say those are all teams they’re better than or on par with. They could split tough divisional games with the Ravens and Browns. They aren’t picking top-5.

Yes, absolutely. If we didn’t already have a lockdown CB we have to pay, yes. Great players have egos sometimes. Great teams often have some strong personalities. It’s ok to have a few of them. The 90’s Bills certainly did and we probably will again at some point, too. Guy is a jackass but he’s a gamer. Get him in a locker room with good leadership and a strong coach and I think he’d be fine.

Mediocre as they may be, the Bungles passing game won’t be a total afterthought like the Giants today. That should open things up for Mixon a little as the Bills can’t totally key on him.

Didn’t see it mentioned but is today the end of the Roethlisberger era? It’s trending as tommy john. Hello Mason Rudolph? If so, Pittsburgh is dead. -
It would be shortsighted to ignore the team’s weaknesses. Hopefully Daboll/McD learn from how their conservatism at the end of the first half and again in the third quarter could have backfired badly against any team fielding a competent offense. We won, which is great, but we can also continue improving through recognizing our mistakes.

Right, and they had been struggling to move the ball all game. Stats on two point conversions actually show that it’s a pretty good call almost always. -

Love the decision to go for it, hate the play call. -

Because statistics show that it’s not any more effective than passing? -

I’m very interested to see the Bills gameplan when we play a team that can pile up points. I think they’re still too conservative leaning to be one of the best teams in the league. -

Color me relieved to have this information from the future. What has the offense been doing all half if they weren’t trying to score a TD before? -

And this is why you shouldn’t get conservative just to be conservative. -

NE struggling at Miami. The more things change, they stay the same. -

Why shouldn’t Hyde be back there? AB returned punts in Pittsburgh, Edelman in NE, etc. Punt returners aren’t just grunts. -

Any given Sunday and getting blown out by a below average team with massive injuries to key players are two totally different things.
