  1. Nice one, Terry 👍
  2. Did they make you buy the product he was advertising though?
  3. "Work to live, don't live to work"
  4. That might be the greatest one sentence paragraph I've ever seen written.
  5. If it's the Bills I'll walk there. Germany is awesome. I've only just finished paying for the World Cup in 2006 so would love an excuse to get back over there. I didn't get to Munich in '06 so would be a first for me too.
  6. “Now here’s a guy…..”
  7. Yeah, Rangers v Celtic is slightly more than some clown with a naughty hasthtag.
  8. I got as far as this gem - “Also in a sense Tannenhill is kind of like a crappy Josh Allen. Good arm, good legs so it was almost like getting a little scouting game off on him before we’d have to play him.”
  9. I find it hard to sleep afterwards. Especially if it’s a play off game. It’s usually around 4:30am and I’m shattered but my mind is in overtime. It’s much worse when we lose. Trying to sleep when there’s something bugging you is tough. At least when we win a late game I know if I get some sleep after I’ll be waking up to good vibes and reaction.
  10. Cricket. I can’t imagine what an Windies v England hurling match would look like.
  11. Yes they are. Always good when they play in the Windies as it’s perfect time to watch on TV. No bad luck with The Ashes. They were just horrendous on all 3 factors of the game. 4-0 was flattering.
  12. Only an hour until Rams v Bucs and also England are playing West Indies in a T20 International. Those will help pass the time. At least next week (if there is one) it’s a 8pm (3pm for you guys) so not as long a wait.
  13. I do hope so, Yolo. I really do.
  14. I’m a big Indian food fan too. I don’t know who you are. You might be a grade A lunatic. But if the Bills ever play in London again and you head over we’ll go to Brick Lane for a meal 👍
  15. Probably. Just go the nearest bar and ask if it’s a Mafia bar. You’ll be fine 👍
  16. Nothing compares to being at the game.
  17. It will be interesting to see the stats in 5-10 years time when we have a decent amount data from when it dropped to just one team getting a bye.
  18. It’s all rather predictable for me I’m afraid. The NFL games were shown love over here in he UK on free to air TV when I started to get interested in the game around 1990. I’d borrowed a book which was like an encyclopaedia of the sport from my schools mobile library and learnt the basics from that. When I started to watch games on a Sunday evening it turned out the Bills were getting to the Super Bowl every year so I chose them as my team. A true glory hunter. Little did I know! The last few years have been fantastic. I’m desperate for us to lift the Lombardi. If we do it this year we’ll do it again in the upcoming years.
  19. I don’t but I’m going to take the time to read the thread and post anyway.
  20. I’ll watch it in bed with it starting at 23:30. My other half and son both have Covid so they’ve been sleeping in the same bed for the last few days and I’ve been in my son’s room. He has a PS4 so I’ll watch on that. Work tomorrow for me too but I’m working from home so can do so at my own relaxed pace. Enjoy the game you filthy animals. Wherever you are.
  21. Anybody else wants to know anything? Don’t ask me 🤣
  22. I saw Warner at an NFLUK event before Covid struck. He was good value. A bit too friendly with Brady though. Other ex players there were Michael Irvin, Willie McGinnest and Cliff Avril. ‘twas a good night.
  23. Bengals are not beating the Titans. In confidence of happening order: Titans Bucs Green Bay Bills
  24. I’m glad they’re a poorly followed team over here.
  25. Lovely use of language. I have a friend who’s an oath. He’s not so bad now but he used to be a proper hooligan with no respect for anyone. He’s still an oath though. He once texted me one Saturday morning asking if I wanted to meet him later that day to go and watch his soccer team. He tried to convince me to come by stating “we’ll have a good few jars and there’s a good chance of some fistys”. When I replied “a good chance of what?” I got a simple reply “fisticuffs”. I didn’t reply but it’s great to see that word again. Cheers.
