I would pick TJ. I hope Beane can work some magic and figure out how to get TJ, Risner and Harry.

I think 3 QBs will go in the top 10. TJ will be available for sure. The league has changed. Teams will be scared to death to miss the next Mahommes. i think we trade down and get him in the mid teens. Trade up to get Risner.

Unless they need the Bills 9 as a stepping stone.

Predicting the draft is impossible. Get 1 guy wrong in top 3 and it probably throws the whole thing off.

Trade down. Get Hockenson and Risner. These two will be on the team for years to come. Hopefully Harry is a possibility after these two. Then BPA on defense.

It pains me to say it but when the Patriots play well, which is often obviously, they leave such a small margin of error for the opposing team. One sketchy penalty call comes across as though the game is rigged. No doubt, that call was lame. But a SB caliber team should be able to brush that off. At the time, that call felt like a turnover because the Rams offense was being flat out stopped.

It’s also demographics. So many NFL players are from the southeast and CA. I get why some have hesitation to come to Buffalo all things being relatively equal. But if you win that can tip the scales. if I was a player, being from the northeast, I would prefer northern cities generally as well. But if I thought I could go to the SB playing in Pheonix or Houston I would do it. It’s not a lifetime commitment.

It makes sense many players do not live in Buffalo full time. They are not from there! They have the financial resources to live somewhere else that is close to their home town or family. I would do the same thing. Once the Bills start making the playoffs on a regular basis , it will get easier to entice FAs. Bottom line.

Yes it’s true he is predicting what Vegas will post as the O/U but his only source is his own opinion of the team right now. His take may change in July but I bet if he was asked now, 6 wins or something close to it would be his answer. Read his review of the Bills in the article. Not very positive.

You are right but we don’t know how balanced it will be. The lopsided away games early in the year did not do us any favors in my opinion.

This is early. We don’t even know the schedule. But 6 wins would be troubling. They may not make the playoffs yet but they should still be in realistic contention going into the late season. hopefully they open at home and don’t have that early schedule like they did in 2018. That will help.

If I recall correctly, Emmit Smith sat out the first two games and the Cowboys started 0-2. That helped a lot.

For the Bills, offense! Our defense is solid. A better offense will make them look even better. More points, less turnovers, less 3 and outs and better field position will take so much pressure off the D. And less injuries to boot. First 3 rounds should be nothing but offense.

If we could trade down with Washington and still get this guy that would be perfect.

We are hanging our collective hat on Allen and yet we invest in a defensive unit that is pretty strong already? I don’t get it. Improving our offense will go a long way in making our defense even better.

Easier schedule had something to do with it. I’m still optimistic about his future.

I was upset the Bills did not retaliate. I was really upset he only missed 1 game and not two. If I recall correctly he was suspended for the Browns game but not the nationally televised Steelers game. How convienent. He was pivotal in that game and probably made a difference on whether they won or lost. If they lost that game they were going to Pittsburgh for the AFC championship as well as playing the Jags in the 2nd round.

Hopefully he stays healthy. That’s were it can all go wrong.

Let’s ask this question 1 year from now. Mahomes maybe really special but we have seen this movie before. 1st year QB (starter) has great year but once defenses get more data they come back to earth.

I live near LA. Indifferent towards the Rams. The Chargers are a close second though. Mainly because my son has chosen them as his favorite team but I liked them before that. Always felt a kinship towards them. Former AFL team from a City with just two pro teams like Buffalo (when they were in SD). And like Buffalo neither has achieved ultimate success. The move to LA did not bother me too much. Wish they were still in SD for sure.
