    Allen ran for less than 20 yards this past game and did pass for over 200 yards. Just FYI.

    Agree. But on the stat point...the box score doesnt tell the same story as watching the game. I like what Allen showed in the eyeball test even though the stat line was average.

    The only Bears games I watched this year were the Packers come back and the Bills game so I didnt know what to make of them. I kinda thought they were paper tigers but they look pretty solid against a top team in the Rams. Could make for an interesting post season.

    I can understand that, but for me Schopp is basically the same as a homer but on the opposite extreme. He seems to just go against the grain just to do it (which most "bad boys" stop doing in junior high). I agree "kool-aid drinking homer types" can be annoying but Schopp is basically the negative-nancy version of those types.

    But it was a 60 to 70 yard throw...overthrown by a half yard. Most QBs probably miss that.

    It's also a newer "cool" way of saying douche. I used the term "doosh" earlier and I felt very cool.

    That's the problem with people using completion percentage as the only, or best measure of accuracy.

    My belief is that they each let themselves believe a little bit in Allen yesterday...and it didn't pay off at the very end. Almost seems like they were extra bitter because they were snake bitten for caring again. Dooshes.
