Yeah, I think that would probably be the only way they get their competitive juices flowing again. But as you said, who know how much they have left in the tank emotionally at this point.

That's kind of where I am at. Had the injury not occurred last night and the Bills lost, I would be really bummed and worried about the playoffs, seeding, etc. But now it wouldn't surprise me if the Bills season were for all intents and purposes over at this point. It's been that kind of season with crazy amounts of injuries, weather disruptions, and now Hamlin's terrible injury. I think things can go one of two ways...one, the team bands together and puts their best foot forward and who knows what will happen. Or, they just don't have it mentally and it's pretty much over at this point. Don't blame them at all if the 2nd scenario plays out.

I was playing around with the NYT simulator and couldn't understand why the Titans/Jags game had relevance over other AFC teams for playoffs (thought maybe it was some deep tie-breaker like common opponent, or SOV/SOS).

I THINK if the Pats lose they can still get in if both the Steelers and Dolphins lose next week. But eliminating them would be cool.

I think we would want the Ravens to win to keep them in the division race. That way next week's Cincy/Ravens game matters to both.

Playoffs...probably not, unless the Chiefs get hit with insane injuries one year or some serious bad luck during the game. After last year, it's hard to imagine how we would beat them there. Score 50 points?

Just with we could get the home field advantage, especially the bye week to help the banged up guys and help with the overall fatigue/wear and tear of a long season. Their is just something magical (dark magic) about KC in the playoffs for Buffalo. Not sure we'll ever win there as long as Mahomes and Reid are there.

Season's not over, they clinched the playoffs and the Division. The 1 seed is just likely out of reach with a loss tomorrow night. And a tougher-than-it-should-be week 18 game with NE (who clinches the playoffs with a win). So, season not over, but without a win tomorrow night, likely a mid-round exit from the playoffs.
