I 100% agree. This team is closer than people realize. I really believe winning the afc East is not out of the question. The special teams were atrocious last year and the running game was dependant on Allen. The addition of E.J. Gaines is huge not only because of his passport coverage but his ability to play the run. Replacing Kyle Williams is going to be key.

I agree he might not be there at 5 but defensive tackle isn't graded the same as pass rushers or quarterbacks. I really think beano would like to sign ziggy anash before the draft and trade our 9th and Jerry Hughes to move up. I know people here love Hughes as do i but he's really not a fit for McDermotts defense. He will never be a double digit sack guy in this defense. If Hughes played a defense that fits his style he's a 15 sacks kinda player. Since beano wouldn't resign him next year why not get return on him this year

Trading back might be more difficult now that Detroit wants to trade back. It's possible but hurts the return. If Williams is on the board at 5 trading up is worth it if the price is our 3rd. We can regain a 3rd with lower picks in a trade with a team low on picks. All of beans picks check boxes of arm length and strength. If Williams is gone I can see hockensen and then moving up for tillery. If it's Williams maybe the TE choice becomes jace stoneberger. I'm ok either way but Williams is possibly the best player in this draft. Oliver has T-rex arms and won't be able to keep nfl guards of him. I don't think there's any chance of beano drafting him. The best outcome for this draft is 4 or 5 guys who can make this team. Drafting 10 guys is unrealistic with the roster we have already.

If Williams falls to 5 expect beano to make the call. He checks all the boxes arm length and strength. If Williams goes before 5 bills should try and trade back but the problem with that is Detroit is also shopping their pick.

I really think the bills not only challenge but win the afc East this year. This team won 6 games last year and added quality depth this year. Josh Allen didn't receive first team reps in training camp. Buffalo will be the break out team this season.

Oliver doesn't have the arm length the bills covet. The bills will not spend first round capital on a player who doesn't check all the boxes. Quinnen Williams arms are a full 2 inches longer and is taller. I'm expecting more moves before the draft. Player trades coming.
