When announcers across multiple stations need to explain to fans that Tua Tagovailoa’s “super power is his anticipation” it makes me chuckle. Wow… a QB that anticipates throws, he must be extremely special. That has to be the lamest NFL “super power”. You were talking about protecting him on the practice squad… you quoted an article talking about protecting practice squad players 😂 It had nothing to do with “foresight in protecting him.” They had already waived him once after the preseason to get him on the practice squad and nobody claimed him… they tried to sneak him through again. It was a calculated risk with a player on the back end of the roster.

Buddy, I don’t disagree that we should have kept Hodgins. But you’re displaying zero knowledge of how the roster works in your posts, and yet you’re criticizing how it’s managed.

Do you know anyone that’s so famous they get thousands of mentions a day? I’m really curious. It’s not that simple to ignore it all. Honestly, there’s some irony to this whole discord… 1) You’re exchanging dialogue 2) With a person whom you don’t know 3) About a subject you both disagree on 4) And it’s taking place on a social media platform You’re so engaged that you keep replying to prove me wrong (or at least prove your point). I haven’t even said anything negative about you to provoke a response. Also, I’d assume you don’t have notifications being sent directly to your phone from TBD… and you’re still responding to me when you see the message.

If you had thousands of notifications on social media flooding your phone throughout the day, most of them telling you that "you suck", "you should lose your job" and to "kill yourself" over and over and over again... I feel like it would be kind of difficult to handle. Your suggestion that the player should avoid having a social media is fair, but why should they be stripped of that ability because others can't behave themselves? And why should they be expected to maintain their composure at all times when people are hurling comments at them repeatedly? It's not the nature of the comments, it's the frequency. If you're going to fixate on the "shaming players for having emotions" then what would you call it?

You missed the mark here. It’s not one instance… using your analogy… it would be like on any given day when you walk down the street, every homeless person you walk by throws a banana peel at you. Sure, the first time you laugh it off as the crazy homeless person… but then it happens a thousand times over. You’re just going to sit there, wear it and smile? Not even an ounce of frustration or retaliation… that’s just unrealistic.

I know athletes who have to turn their phone off because of the number of notifications they get during the day… I have friends whose parents are coaches and see the tweets about how their “Dad should be hung in the streets” because of a blocked punt. You say it doesn’t get to you because you’re trying to do the right thing… but it’s ridiculous to believe that these comments don’t add up and impact people.

Good thing the contracts are 4 (and in some cases 5 years). It doesn't HAVE to happen in their first season, especially when you have other capable veteran players in place. They're allowed to emerge over time and produce more value...

There is no planet where Moore, Berrios or Mims are better than Gabe Davis 🙄 Mims is a total bust as the 59th pick in 2020. 26 games with 38 receptions, 628 yards and 0 TDs. Berrios MIGHT be a better version of Isaiah McKenzie... although he's been one of their most targeted players in New York since arriving. McKenzie has been a gadget player... Berrios 60 games with 104 receptions, 1,022 yards and 5 TDs Also run for 160 and 4 TDs. McKenzie 64 games with 130 receptions, 1,252 yards and 11 TDs Also run for 213 and 4 TDs. You can argue the jury is still out on Moore... but he hasn't done anything to prove he's better than Gabe. Corey Davis might even be a stretch... he's lacked the consistency of Gabe Davis throughout his career... that's really saying something considering people here want to strangle Davis for his inconsistency whether it be performance or health.
