It's crazy how sports talk has gone from informed opinions and actual journalism to what it has become now. Now you have shows like undisputed with Shannon and Skip and other shows that have followed the template of "put former athlete on show and have him make wild statements that are unsubstantiated but will drum up conversation on our social media" I usually just stick to Dan Patrick in the morning.

I watched him a lot at USC because they are on every weekend on the west coast and once it hit mid season he was connecting on more deep balls so I would you are correct about the timing issues. My only concern with him was he was always hesitant to take a shot it seemed like he would prefer to throw underneath every play if he could. I do think he will be successful but I don't see him putting up monster games more of just a steady reliable QB. It would be great for the fans if he and Josh both developed and battled it out for the next decade. Enjoy the season! Go Bills

I can't believe we drafted someone with slow eyes! I was pretty bummed when we took him, I wanted DeAndre Hopkins, but I also was a big believer in Dion Jordan (he was a freak at Oregon) and Dion is one of the bigger busts in the last few years.

I could see him going to a big name D-1 program who hires him strictly for name recognition. I honestly think in a couple years he could be an effective recruiter at the college level simply because by that time 18 year olds will not know who he is. The one thing he has going for him is he is charismatic with media and from everything I have heard his guy's love playing for him. I think he could leave a big impression on a kid with his charm and pointing out that he coached the Jets to 2 AFC championship games (which will sell because the Jets will still be awful when he is doing his sales pitch). I don't think he ever gets a shot at the NFL level again.

I live in Oregon and watch a ton of Pac 12 football and I never understood the infatuation with him. I am happy we took JA over Rosen, I never really cared for Rosen's aloof attitude and I got the impression he thought he was bigger than the team during his interviews.

I am just glad I grew up in a time where social media wasn't a thing. Sure Zay's antics were on the extreme side but I am very glad none of the stupid **** I did in the military in my early twenties ever got caught on video. I hope he can bounce back and be a solid contributor to the team this year.

Josh Allen, they really didn't do him any favors in the accuracy dept on this game, however they do have him with +scrambling ability. You really have to pick your spots with JA on this game, and I lean on Shady quite a bit since his accuracy is so sporadic.

Well I just beat GB on Madden 35-17 on All Madden, and everyone knows that game is basically a simulation so I'm going with 35-17 Buffalo!

The opposing offenses will miss him dropping into coverage because every time he did it as an easy completion over the middle.

If JA shows progression between gm1-gm2 I think you have to seriously look at starting him game 3 and to open the year. The difference in the throws he can make that AJM and NP can't is huge.

Why is Paxton Lynch not talked about more as one of the bigger busts in recent memory? I get that he was picked in the later part of the first round, and I know he went to a small school (Memphis if I remember right) but this guy hasn't even sniffed the field and is now being beaten out by a guy who was picked last. I feel like if this was a buffalo/cleveland/Jax draft pick the media would be bashing the hell out of this pick. -In regards to the actual post. Good for Chad, i don't know if this is an endorsement of Chad or shows how bad Paxton Lynch really is.

This is what I expected in his first game, and I am happy with his progress. The accuracy wasn't horrible. That throw between the defenders was special and I can see how people can easily get caught up admiring his physical gifts. I honestly think we might have something with Josh, I have no problem letting AJ or (Dare i say) NP start while Allen develops more.

You can buy an OZ for 30$ in Oregon and it's legal, just don't be stupid and drive when you smoke.
