I still think long term JA will be better than Lamar. Right now it's fair to say they have a significant advantage at QB, but in 2-3 years I think Josh will be upper echelon and Lamar will be on that second tier of guys like Phillip rivers in his prime. (not saying his style is similar at all to rivers just where he will rank among QBS)

I live in the PNW and a lot of my friends are hawks fans, haven't heard a negative thing about him from my friends and they seem bummed about him leaving. I honestly don't know much about him but it seems like we got a good rotational piece. In Beane I trust.

I don't know much about butler, I like that he's 25 but it looks like he had a 1 year spike in production and it creates a bit of a log jam on DL. But at this point I would trust Beane to negotiate my release if i was a hostage.

Addison I like a lot, obviously the Diggs acquisition is the crown jewel.

The narrative that he is a problem is crazy to me, the guy complained about the offense and vented on twitter, outside of that he has been an exemplary professional. He does tons for his community and has had zero concerns outside of bitching about cousins and the offense.

It still baffles me how he didn't get his feet down, almost as much as it baffles me how every single player missed a block on that QB sweep.

He is known for being a great guy in the Minnesota community, visits kids hospitals, hands out turkeys at Thanksgiving etc. He complained about his QB and complained about targets, big deal.

It's amazing to me how much people value picks past rd3, it is one thing if we were in full rebuild mode and we had space for young guys to make the team, i know this is rare territory for a lot of posters on here but we are in a win now superbowl or bust window and Diggs helps us now. Good teams don't have a lot of guys make the team past the first couple of rounds, I am more than happy giving up our #1 for a player like him, we can pick up the "big WR" in the draft. I agree, I think you trade down when you are trying to build a team, Buffalo has built the core of their team already and we are in need elite playmakers which you generally have to pay a high price for if you want to move up and get them. in past drafts I agree about acquiring as much talent as possible, we are in a rare position for this franchise where we are only a couple elite players away from competing for a SB.
