Bills Among Favorites Says Ravens Beat Guy/Columnist
BruceVilanch replied to JDHillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still think long term JA will be better than Lamar. Right now it's fair to say they have a significant advantage at QB, but in 2-3 years I think Josh will be upper echelon and Lamar will be on that second tier of guys like Phillip rivers in his prime. (not saying his style is similar at all to rivers just where he will rank among QBS) -
From Devonta freeman who is injury prone to Gurley who is injury prone. Fun times in the ATL

What a long way we have come

if they had a semblance of a competent head coach I would be a lot more worried about them. I think Gase is a megalomaniac. -

I liked the process before it was cool as well. Back on BBMB I think the "Tyson Clabo Watch" got to 1k posts as well. -
Clay Matthews released...interested?
BruceVilanch replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Two things stand out to me on this post. 1. I can't believe I am 2 years older than Clay Matthews. 2. the weed must have kicked in right after I read OP because it turned into a Gurley post. -

Did we turn a corner at culture?

The narrative that he is a problem is crazy to me, the guy complained about the offense and vented on twitter, outside of that he has been an exemplary professional. He does tons for his community and has had zero concerns outside of bitching about cousins and the offense. -
It's amazing to me how much people value picks past rd3, it is one thing if we were in full rebuild mode and we had space for young guys to make the team, i know this is rare territory for a lot of posters on here but we are in a win now superbowl or bust window and Diggs helps us now. Good teams don't have a lot of guys make the team past the first couple of rounds, I am more than happy giving up our #1 for a player like him, we can pick up the "big WR" in the draft. Great way to end the day, Go bills! PS: WASH YOUR HANDS!

I agree, I think you trade down when you are trying to build a team, Buffalo has built the core of their team already and we are in need elite playmakers which you generally have to pay a high price for if you want to move up and get them. in past drafts I agree about acquiring as much talent as possible, we are in a rare position for this franchise where we are only a couple elite players away from competing for a SB. Go Bills!

Jets Quinnen Williams Arrested in NY
BruceVilanch replied to BruceVilanch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I own guns and I have a CC, but I certainly don't travel from Oregon to CA thinking gun laws are the same, I believe NY is just as strict with their gun laws as California is. -
"New York Jets defensive lineman Quinnen Williams was arrested Thursday night for allegedly possessing a gun at LaGuardia Airport, according to Port Authority officials. Williams, 22, was about to catch a plane out of town when he was arrested at 9:15 p.m. for criminal possession of a weapon, an Authority spokesperson said. Williams, who was drafted No. 3 overall by the Jets in 2019, had a permit for the weapon, but it was licensed in Alabama, the spokesperson said. Under New York law, it is generally only legal to carry a concealed weapon in the state if it has a New York license. It is unclear if Williams is being accused of trying to take the gun on the plane. Neither the Jets nor Williams’ agent, Nicole Lynn, immediately responded to requests for comment. Lynn, an agent for Young Money APAA Sports, tweeted earlier Thursday that more than half of the players represented by the agency were heading to Mexico for an event together. It was not immediately clear if Williams was en route to the event." NY POST
