I do miss the driveway oil stain silhouettes, we had one that looked like Lincoln. Some were so bad they were slippery, making playing basketball in the driveway a bit more challenging.

Would also think one would have to order such a luxury about 5 yrs. before receiving it. Not that that would stop the grousing.

It be worse than that. Imagine little Johnny’s excitement on Xmas opening up his gift and getting a UB Bulls jersey.

The dome of the Basilica will standout even more soon, they’re replacing the original with copper. They also did a revamping of the basement and now have a small, but thorough, historical museum honoring Father Baker. Between the Basilica and very nearby and updated Botanical Gardens, it’s a nice afternoon jaunt for locals to take in.

Nice. The bullet in the wall did the little rascal in.

Rock City Park, just south of Olean, is a nice day trip. It’s a bit of an adventure thing, massive formations with trails through and up on them. It has interesting history and is cheap. Their website sux, but there’s lots of positive Google reviews. Olean is a college town, it’s nice there with plenty of dining options to round out the day.

Same issue I had with a Canyon, which was loaded, very sharp looking, but yeah, cramped and awkward getting in and out. I’m 6’0” was about 215 then. Door jamb was in my sight line looking left, felt like I had to crouch down from the roof. Got rid of it in less than a year.

Now 14. See the O’s are gonna leave it to Beavers to try and salvage something from this season.

Mets homestretch schedule lot tougher than Yankees and their bullpen is getting worse. Hope the Brewers have something in the tank come playoffs. What a run.

With 7 of their last 10 against the Yankees, pretty good chance they’ll have an opportunity to extend that courtesy to them.

Bought a used Taurus about 25 years ago, the Ford dealer had a 3 day guarantee or return it. I returned it, it wasn’t easy, kind of faced an inquisition, said no one’s ever done it. But in fairness I bought a nicer Crown Victoria from them and kept it.

You want to beat opponents in your division for the obvious reasons. The notion that they look across the field seething more so than when non division teams are over there simply plays well with fans and media. Doubt they’d be more pumped wanting to beat a mediocre division rival than a top tier team.

Bad blood rivalries is a fan figment.

My boxwoods were turning brown and dropping leaves, thought it was from being so warm and dry. Sprayed with Sevin, next day there was yellow dust like piles of larvae literally around all of them with small green caterpillar mixed in. Then put BioAdvanced Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed as told by the nursery. It’s been two weeks, they seem to have stopped. The houses at the top of the street who have boxwoods have died and as you go down the street it lessens, that I live at the end was apparently fortunate.
