You're a lil late. The request was made two years ago. Check the posting date. 🤣 -

Who's giving McD a pass? McD blew it. Refs were blatently one-sided and terrible. These are not mutually exclusive things. We're only allowed to complain about one or the other?

Outlook on McDermott if we turn it around
The Red King replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. I thought Dorsey and McD were problems. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Firing Dorsey solved one problem and yielded immediate results. I still think McD flounders with late-game decisions, which remains concerning. -
Alright, I'll admit I was wrong. The change in coordinator, combined with the way they looked after that change, has me hopeful. Still a long way to go, but if this offense, on Brady's first game, on a short week, against the Jets' D can do what they just did, I suppose I'm feeling guarded optimism. I was hoping to see improvement, I was praying for a W, but I never expected a blowout.
-
Game plan. If I'm the Jets I lock down Diggs and dare the Bills to throw to literally anyone else (something they have failed miserably at in the past).
-
It's refreshing to see an offense designed to use the strengths of your personnel. Cook and Kincaid were doing what I had hoped and expected they would do when we got them. Just Dorsey flat-out refusing to use them that way. Our weapons are becoming weapons, and I love the look of it.

Aside from the injuries, I am thrilled with how the game went. New coordinator on a short week against the Jets D and we get 32? I'll take it. Next week will be huge. If Buffalo can manage a W, then they'll have two weeks to get the new offensive changes cemented in before KC.
-
Interesting how these long official delays keep coming when the Jets are on their heels.
-
Really guys? Really?
-
Well, let's see how they respond. The Bills' defense is the walking wounded, even more so now. Offense is going to need to turn it up in the second half.
-
Getting sick of these injuries. Doesn't seem to matter, play well, and then *bam*. It's like, which key player(s) is going down this week.
-
Don't forget, this is our interim OC's first game, and it's on a short week against the Jets' D. The 'O' isn't going to go from zero to hero overnight. I wanted to see progress and something to give hope, and so far this game has done that.

Receiver laid out a helmet to helmet hit on him. >.>
-
Anyone else as giddy as I am about how the OC is calling this game?

You can't expect miracles. He's game-planning on a short week against the Jets' D. That's why I would have preferred this a week earlier for a long week of prep against Denver, but here we are. In other words, I'm really hoping for good things. But also realize you can't judge the new guy based just on tomorrow. I'm more just looking for progress and hoping the Bills can pull off wins until the bye. -
Should have happened a week earlier, but I'll take it.

Are people really that unhappy with our 4-2 Bills?
The Red King replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
This aged so, so poorly. 🤣 Pattern recognition, people. We went through this exact same scenario after the Green Bay game last season. The concerns expressed (that got the people saying them mocked) were later validated. And this season everything played out exactly the same as last season. I really wanted to be proven wrong, but the signs were there, clear as day to anyone with their eyes open. -
Fire McDermott - 12 On the Field INEXCUSABLE

I honestly think McD could make a living as a coach that brings teams out of the dumpster fire and moves on. -

McD is the Tyrod Taylor of coaching. Good enough to get you to the playoffs. Good enough to keep you from having a terrible record, but not good enough to take you all the way. We needed him uniquely to drag us out of the drought, and I will always be thankful for that, but he just can't get us past the hump, he's lost the team and left Josh a mental mess. -
Show me a game where this happens. This situation, needing the TD, where someone about to run it in kneels instead. Seriously, has this happened? If you need a FG, sure. But not when you need a TD.
