  1. Yeah, I mean when you skew things to make somebody look as bad as possible, it looks idiotic when that player clearly emerges as one of the best in the biz on a national stage. Assuming Josh continues to perform well these last couple games, PFF won’t be able to lift Josh’s average they’ve given him by enough to not look ridiculous. He has been the best 4th Quarter QB, possibly the best intermediate passing QB, one of the best on 3rd and Longs, and the 2nd best rushing QB basically all year long. PFF has no excuse.
  2. Ralph Wilson after all those years of futility.
  3. If New England loses tonight, then they’ll definitely flex the game. They’ll do anything to give New England an advantage with the division possibly on the line.
  4. IMO that Eagles game felt like they just kept getting lucky in the passing game. Felt like one of those “just not our day” games. The Browns and Pats losses were much more frustrating to me because in the first one Allen was injured in the midst of a Bills comeback and in the second one the defense just fell completely apart on the last drive.
  5. If Bills beat the Ravens and Patriots, then are they a great team? I’m not conceding either game.
  6. Brady does this all the time. Nice to see Josh get that level of protection.
  7. Come playoffs, when he has to face tough defensive gameplans, I predict he will struggle. How many Super Bowls have these run-first quarterbacks won? New England played like garbage against them and they were still in the game well into the 2nd half. New England at home in January will curb stomp them.
  8. The team that forces him to be a quarterback will beat them.
  9. If Bills beat Dallas, then I believe they’ll have a chance at upsetting Baltimore.
  10. IMO the reason we haven’t seen Duke is because of his lack of speed/acceleration out of his breaks. He isn’t really much of an outside receiver due to this. There was one play in particular a few weeks ago where John Brown or Cole Beasley easily make the catch, but Duke couldn’t seem to even finish his cut toward the sideline and even get a hand on it. It was a perfect throw from Allen and Duke couldn’t even get a hand on it due to his limitations. This isn’t to say Duke has no place on this team, as others have said, I think the coaches just have to be selective on how they use him.
  11. A-, he continues to move the chains in situations where we have faltered for the past 20 years.
  12. Squandered chances in the first half. They almost entered halftime down 7-6 after a dominating performance on both sides of the ball. Against better teams, you can’t afford to do that.
  13. I like this post and the reasoning that’s worked out, but I see things differently. I think I’m in the minority now that thinks he looks the same as ever. To me, the bigger change has been that he isn’t getting the protection he used to get. He used to stand flat footed in the red zone for 10+ seconds and eventually hit a receiver on the backline of the end zone. This season he finally has to play behind an offensive line that resembles what other QBs play with. He always has avoided contact like crazy, but now we just see him do it at a higher frequency because he actually gets pressured.
  14. That’s odd, I was checking Allen’s Yahoo Fantasy Football updates today and they described his career as “fledgling”.
  15. IMO Ford can’t blame the Bills for the whole OJ / Bronco fiasco.
  16. I just checked the TV schedule for WRGB and they are showing the Bills game over the Jets game for the 1pm game this week! Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. I always see Bills fans in the area and hardly any Jets fans. Bills have taken a backseat to the Jets on TV in this area for the last 20 years.
  17. I’ve been calling this for weeks. New England has no morals and just wanted the drama to die down.
  18. Given this supporting cast, I’m impressed. There’s times where he puts this offense on his back and makes things happen in a way that has been missing since Kelly. Get him a receiver that commands a double team and things will really open up for him.
  19. The receivers have regularly dropped passes that hit them in the hands and have been outmuscled by bigger defensive backs. A lot of the passes Josh completes to Brown are due to Josh’s anticipation. Brown has not had numbers this good with any other QB. I’m shocked that there is anyone that can bash Allen for maximizing John Brown’s production, but to each their own.
  20. I feel like I can recall Josh making adjustments inside 10 seconds a fair amount yesterday. He scored high on the Wonderlic. I really think things are just coming together for him more than anything else, the kid is learning doggone it!
  21. To me, this thread is more of a credit to Josh Allen than John Brown. Get some top tier receivers like Mike Evans in Buffalo and watch Josh ball!
  22. I still get excited when they score, but anything bad doesn’t really phase me. I’m unfortunately used to the let downs and bad calls.
  23. I’m glad Jerry had the balls to ask that question. I hope Sean re-evaluates where they are as an offense. Invest in cheap talent, get cheap results. Maximize Josh’s potential by surrounding him with playmakers. IMO Josh is seriously handicapped by his supporting cast. Josh and Tre White are the only McBeane pickups that aren’t routinely invisible on Sundays.
