There are reports that the patriots tried to trade into the back end of the first round to get him. So I doubt they could’ve gotten him at the back end of round two.

I’m now totally cool with Troy Franklin. He’d be great with Josh. I can totally imagine him out there with Shakir, Samuel & Kincaid.

Let’s say the weapon they would have added @28 was AD Mitchell. If they add AD Mitchell @ 33 is it still unacceptable?

Tez Walker and Devontez Walker are the same person, but apparently one has spoken with the bills more than the other. until this gets fixed, for me it’s invalid.

I think this means they are totally ready to give up their first round pick next year to move up this year and get the receiver they want. Having Minnesota’s second rounder, would make them more willing to do this. Young wide receivers are stepping right in and becoming superstars pretty quickly these days. They gave up a first to get him, had several years of great production, and get a second rounder in return after all of that. On paper, it’s not awful, but they sure as hell better fill that spot, proper, or they’re wasting a year of Josh.

Anyone know what happens to the cap if he gets traded? I can’t imagine they would trade him for pics, unless it moves them all the way to number four so they could get Marvin Harrison Jr. Like Dawkins +#28,+ whatever. More likely, an established player. Depends on the cap.

That was a really deep wide receiver draft. The bills were at the back end of the first round, missed some of the top guys, and still came away with Moulds.

This is like the Eric Moulds draft.

I guess it could evolve into that once the moves commence.
