  1. DENZEL MIMS Seems to jump out at me as a late pick although appears to to be getting more attention. Excellent catch radius. Interested in your thoughts. Name: Denzel Mims SCHOOL: Baylor CONFERENCE: Big 12 POSITION: Wide Receiver CLASS: Junior JERSEY: No. 15 RECRUITMENT RATING: 3-star HT: 6’3 WT: 208 lbs D.O.B.: N/A PROS: Incredible catch radius. Perfect extension and concentration to passes all-around his frame and does an excellent job of tucking the football into his body immediately. Seamless body control that allows him to adjust, contort, and position his frame to make receptions regardless of ball placement. Length in his frame makes him a consistent winner even with average accuracy from the quarterback position. Has truly elite burst and long speed as a former decorated track and field athlete. One of the most explosive athletes in college football who also has strength throughout his frame. Does an excellent job a changing the pace of his vertical stems to get defensive backs on their heels before bursting by them. As a route runner, he’s able to get in and out of horizontal breaks efficiently. Despite slight technique issues, his elite feet and athleticism allow him to mostly be an effective route runner, especially for his size. Attacks leverage as a route runner well, and his vertical cuts can generate separation when he gets defensive backs to open their hips. Has gotten defensive backs off-balance with his shiftiness at the line of scrimmage as well as double moves, but can also separate using physicality. credit: author - Brad Kelly thedraftnetwork.com
  2. Moved on from bagging Josh Allen at every opportunity? You've been very quiet for such a flog as yourself after last week's win. Here's hoping your expert bagging of the opposition qb's is a little more entertaining.
  3. It was very cool. The wife and daughter and I were flying out of Denver last Sunday after a couple of awesome weeks off the grid in Grand Teton and Yellowstone NPs. Fantastic, though I had pretty much missed everything Bills-related. Saw half the first game at Lodo's in Denver, which turned out to be great Bills bar but that's all I'd seen, and I'd tried to avoid the rest so I could watch it on Game Pass back in Japan, but I didn't have any idea how the season had gone. Anyway, we're leaving the check-in counter and I see that a smiling lady, an employee of the airline we're on, has given my little three year-old daughter a set of pilot wings. I thought that was sweet, so I went over to say thank you, and I noticed she had a Bills piece of jewelry right on her uniform. I asked her if she was a fan and she said she was, and we talked for a minute or two. She mentions player names and I can see she's a real fan. So I was about to say goodbye and my Japanese wife, who absolutely loves to talk to strangers, asks her why she became a Bills fan. And she says, "Oh, my son's on the team." I kind of did a double-take and asked who and she said, "Ryan Lewis." I pretty much blanked on the name. Stupidly, I had a kind of glimmer and said something moronic like, "He's ... wait, is he? Is he a linebacker or a defensive lineman?" Not my finest hour. She says, "No, he's a cornerback." Looking like a fool, I just said, "Oh, that's great, when did he ...?" And she kindly told me he's just joined the team. And then she says, "He's playing today. Are you listening to the game? Do you know what's happening?" It was just a bit after noon in Denver so it took me a minute to realize that the game must have started. Then she says, "It's 24 - 0." And she's smiling, so I'm like, "The Bills are up? Against the Vikings?" She says she's checking her scores app every few seconds, hauls out her phone and says, "No, it's 27 - 0," with obvious glee. We both got happy after that and talked a while. We had to go through the long security line so we had to get moving, but we talked for about five minutes. She said Ryan loved Buffalo and that they had connections in the city and to the team. I asked her about what the connection was and she said that she was related to Robb Riddick. Brother-in-law, I think she said ...? I was psyched as I remembered him well and had a chance to make up for my idiocy. "He was a running back, right? He was a good player." She just smiled and said thanks. It was a really nice conversation. She was a very kind person and talked a while to my daughter as well. You guys probably already know the Robb Riddick thing but as I say, I've been off the grid, and I just thought that was a very cool thing. She said the family went a little nuts when the Bills called to bring Ryan in. I've never really met a Bills family member before, so it was a really nice thing for me. She couldn't have been nicer. I wished her and her son good luck and we shared a "Go Bills."
  4. https://youtu.be/bDLRzVDIU1U Can't be that hard to catch a ball can it ?
  5. I'm probably reaching a bit with such little footage but the body language of the players doesn't look great. Doesn't seem to be any intensity/urgency amongst the receiver's. Probably reading to much in to it maybe it's right before end of practice idk but I would expect a McD team to practice with high intensity from start to finish. *Sorry quoted 26CB thinking it would include the video he posted for us on first page ?
  6. I hope he recovers quickly. Wouldn't wish that on anyone
  7. How is everyone feeling about this after 3 games.? Im sitting on the fence ATM. Chuffed about the result against Vikings. Im keen to see progression in the "'Process" and development in the players but also wouldn't mind adding some elite talent. Is it worth just scrapping into the playoffs and just making up numbers? No right or wrong answer. Would appreciate your reasoning and thoughts also.
  8. Waiting for Fadingpain to come here and tell everyone Allen isn't a quarterbacks !@#$ and shouldn't be in the NFL
  9. This ^ I hope for his family's sake the whole thing was just interdats attention seeking.
  10. Thanks Virgil, woke up to the great news and came here looking for your write-up ? Enjoy the honesty in your thoughts and the sensible discussion it prompts from others. Keep up the great work. Stoked with the result. Go Bills! Btw.... Your gonna have to come up with a better thread name soon ?
  11. It won't hurt when the pain goes away.
  12. Just send a Shady debt collector to his house to get the ? back.
  13. I only bet against my team when attending games (any sport). We win I'm happy We lose I drown my sorrows with the winnings As others have said, if your putting 5k on a game then you probably don't need to worry. " Don't bet what you can't afford to lose!" ^ If you have done this your a loser regardless of the result
  14. If your referring to me I'll always admit that most people on this forum are probably more knowledgeable than me on the Bills/NFL. Aussie rules football. Having played for 27 years and watched for longer I think I know what I'm looking at.
  15. Thread is almost as random as 80% of the other threads started here

  17. Was very impressive. Amazing how well he has adapted. Nice short sharp leads. Positions body well to give defenders little chance to spoil. Clunks just about everything he gets his hands too.
