  1. I think we just need another good back. Don’t really care what mold he is; just get me another good runner. If neither Singletary or the new rookie is a good receiver, you can pick one up off the scrap heap.
  2. How would it be 17 extra regular season games?
  3. NFL teams expect him to run in the 4.45-4.50 range, but most people (myself included) are pretty skeptical of that. If he doesn’t have the long speed, he doesn’t really have anything that suggests he’ll separate well, so that leaves him as a contested catch artist, which is akin to being a mid-range specialist in the NBA. It’s not highly valuable if you aren’t offering anything else and that’s the way a lot of people that are down on him feel about him. Having said that, I don’t think he’ll run a 4.6 like some think; I think he’s around a 4.55 and I think he’s more skilled than people give him credit for.
  4. I think it’s really a top 3 and then everyone else is below those guys. I would rank the 10 leftovers from your post: 1. Reagor 2. Aiyuk 3. Higgins 4. Jefferson 5. Pittman 6. Shenault 7. Edwards 8. Hamler 9. DPJ 10. Mims
  5. Two extra playoff games and 16 extra regular season games...the powers that be must be so excited. I’m happy to have more football. Hope they expand game day rosters to accompany this.
  6. My guess is he isn’t moved anywhere and this Instagram thing is business as usual for him. I would absolutely love to have him though.
  7. RB size doesn’t really matter at all IMO and CEH is a tank. Reagor is a better “big” WR than someone like Shenault. Robertson is legitimately a question mark as far as that goes and that’s why he’ll be taken where later.
  8. If the footwork he showed this past season is here to stay, he should be among the best QBs in the NFL within a few years IMO. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more accurate passer over the course of a college season the way he was. And a watchful eye could tell he was special the year before as well; he just hadn’t fixed his footwork issues yet. From the past 4 draft classes, he’s tied with Lamar for my 2nd highest grade.
  9. 1. Jalen Reagor. I assume Jeudy, Lamb, and Ruggs are out of reach and Reagor is the next best WR IMO. 2. Edwards-Hellaire. I love him as a prospect. I don’t think Buffalo will go for him but I would love it if they did. 3. Amik Robertson. Undersized slot corner and doesn’t really have the elite athleticism you look for to make up for it but the way he plays seems like a good fit with McD and I think he can be had on Day 3. Just missing out is Bryan Edwards, the South Carolina WR.
  10. Reagor is a really talented dude. Obviously TBD to see if he pans out in the NFL, but he’s in that Stefon Diggs/Santonio Holmes mold where they’re under 6’0” but are great at climbing the ladder and making contested catches and have the explosiveness you generally don’t get with other contested catch guys.
  11. Sign: Jadeveon Clowney Trade for: Cam Brate Draft: Jalen Reagor (or one of the big 3 WRs if they somehow slide to us)
  12. We’ll never know of course, but Norman was likely cut largely because of the cap savings; not necessarily because Rivera doesn’t think he can play. Likewise, we wouldn’t be interested in him at his previous contract but could theoretically be interested at a cheap salary.
  13. He’s one of the best football writers out there IMO Domino’s is a good bang for the buck but that’s it. I pretty much lived on it in college because you could get a (decent) pizza for $5 versus paying $10-15 for slightly better pizza elsewhere. If you have great pizza nearby I’d splurge for that pretty much every time (or just make my own).
  14. Aren’t they on the hook for a ton of dead cap if they move him? Not to mention he’s still a very good QB.
  15. The high school times are almost never remotely accurate. Probably was more like a 4.65-4.70 in high school and has probably improved his speed since then with training. Whether that’s enough to actually run around a 4.55 we shall see.
  16. I think Dak is roughly a top 10 QB and appears to be improving still. Think the ideal course of action for Dallas would have been to prioritize the 3 current FAs: Dak, Amari, and Jones rather than Zeke and Jaylon Smith. But here we are; they gave big contracts to probably the two least valuable of the big 5 and seem poised to at least lose 1 of the top 3.
  17. That’ll be up to a coaching staff and front office to decide. Think it really boils down to how convinced you are that he can be taught. If he learns to read a defense, he could be an MVP caliber QB IMO.
  18. Love is the ultimate high risk high reward prospect. Great passing skills but he legitimately doesn’t even attempt to read the defense on most plays. Tremendous potential inside him if he can learn though.
  19. XFL.com or their mobile app is where you need to go. Not sure if they're hoping that will give the site some traffic or something.
  20. I still have Eason and Anthony Gordon to grade, but as it currently stands, my grades on this year's QB class are: 93 - Joe Burrow (behind only Mahomes and tied with Lamar for my highest grades of the past 4 years) 92 - Tua Tagovailoa (Top 10 pick) 86 - Jordan Love (Top 15 pick) 80 - Justin Herbert (fringe 1st round) 79 - Jake Fromm (2nd round) 77 - Jalen Hurts (3rd round) 72 - Shea Patterson (5th round)
  21. I'm not sure. Lamb is enough to test my "Never trade up" mantra and this trade doesn't seem all that bad. Having said that, the WR class is strong enough that I think I'd lean towards just staying at 22 or trading down. I'd understand if we did pull the trigger though.
  22. Might have to tune in to the NY Guardians game today. Seems unlikely, but I'm hoping to get to see Luis Perez at QB and am curious to see how my old undrafted RB crush Matt Colburn does.
  23. I still don't have a great grip on the rules of it, but the basic gist is that there's four goalposts at each end; you want to get the ball between the middle two goalposts (6 points). The outer goalposts are 1 point so the defense will sometimes purposefully put the ball through their own outer goalpost to sacrifice 1 point instead of allowing 6. You move the ball in one of three ways: (1) dropkicking it to a teammate, (2) punching the ball to a teammate, and (3) dribbling the ball (and keep in mind it's shaped like a rugby ball so not super easy). And it's played on a field roughly twice the size of an NFL field. Here's a highlight video:
  24. She's not into rugby either; Australian Rules Football is a completely different sport. It's huge in Melbourne where she grew up; like half the teams are based in Melbourne.
