  1. This I do not agree with. Milano has been very good, arguably great, when healthy. But if I'm hypothetically picking between paying Milano $13 million per year or paying Ngakoue $20 million per year, I think it's a toss-up and might lean towards Ngakoue. As for Poyer & Hyde, they've both proven to be among the best safeties in the league. I don't think we will want to pay both of them; it's just too much to invest in the position. I think LB and safety are both in play at #22 for us but we shall see in April.
  2. I'd rather Clowney as well but I think Seattle will either keep him or do the same exact thing.
  3. White and Dawkins will be kept. I don't think Milano is a certainty and I would bet one of Poyer/Hyde is gone within a year or two. If the Bills want Ngakoue, there's no reason they can't figure out how to pay the price for it. Question is how badly Beane wants an elite-ish edge guy.
  4. I think Beane will probably heavily consider trading for Ngakoue. If he ultimately decides the price is too high, bringing Shaq back probably makes sense, though I would personally be looking to bring in more of a short-term solution like Adrian Clayborn instead.
  5. I think it's worth considering giving up a future 2nd round pick for him. Would fill arguably our biggest need and there aren't many options to do so out there. Edit: Something like a 2020 5th and 2021 2nd would be a realistic price to pay.
  6. Phillips would likely sign the tag immediately. AJ will not.
  7. Basically just that they have experience as starters (and have had at least some success). Unfortunately this is the situation that we're in. We only have 2 starting caliber WRs and I don't want to be pidgeon-holed into a position where we have to draft a WR that's ready to go from Day 1 rather than potentially a guy like Mims that has great potential but probably can't be counted on right away.
  8. RIP Jack Conklin's Jet Career: 3/1/2020 - 3/1/2020
  9. It could be a smoke screen, but keeping him makes a lot of sense.
  10. If the reports are to be believed, he wants to be in Cinci and wants to iron out a long-term deal with them.
  11. He had reportedly been expecting about that much if not more per year for multiple years. Obviously still a decent deal for him but I'm sure he was hoping for one more long-ish term pay day. He still might get it too.
  12. They might not view themselves as rebuilding. They went 0-8 in one score games last year and Burrow is capable of stepping in and being good from Day 1. And obviously they want to put Burrow in a situation to succeed, so having AJ Green helps in that regard (assuming he stays healthy which obviously isn't a given).
  13. Gruden has basically no history of targeting players like Ruggs (though it's possible his philosophies have changed as the league has evolved). He's generally favored bigger WRs.
  14. Bummer that AJ is off the table, but not surprising. We need to acquire another vet WR either via free agency or trade IMO. The free agents I'd be looking at are: Paul Richardson Taylor Gabriel Devin Funchess Chris Hogan Obviously none of these guys are terribly exciting but we need someone that is capable of starting so that we aren't in desperate need of a rookie WR that can start right away. I'm still hoping for a trade but if need be, these guys would do the trick without breaking the bank.
  15. This was like 10 regimes and an owner ago. I think Ruggs could be in play for them because I think teams may view him as the #1 WR prospect in the draft, but the "he's fast, so he must be a Raider" thing is so overplayed.
  16. I would guess Mariota and Stidham fight for the starting gig if Brady leaves (which I still don’t expect even though media is portraying it as a near certainty).
  17. I almost certainly would, but I don't think Beane would. I think this draft is likely perfect for a trade-down for us barring something unforeseen happening ahead of us.
  18. Obviously can’t speak for Beane, but having no picks between the 2nd and 5th rounds is too much for me, especially with this draft class. My guess is we stay at 22 and Beane uses the extra Day 3 picks to move up in the 3rd or 4th round.
  19. 3rd worst drop % in the league for RBs on the catchable throws. It was a struggle for him. Obviously a steep learning curve there and hope he improves in year 2 because he’s elusive as hell if we can get him the ball in the open field.
  20. My boy Luis Perez starting at QB for NY today!
  21. It’s not impossible but I think you’re setting yourself up for disappointment if you think he’ll trade down.
  22. I agree, but this just isn't Beane's MO. He's going to trade up at some point in the draft.
  23. I'd rather sign Kevin Johnson for the money he'll get than Bradberry if $15m is the actual price for him. Byron Jones, Tre, etc., $15m is justifiable. I think my defense is in trouble if Bradberry is my highest paid player.
  24. I don't understand when or why people began to think Bradberry is an elite corner.
