  1. Yep. Plus: Tyrod. We should have drafted Josh Rosen. Mason Rudolph. We should have drafted Tom Brady instead of Leif Larsen. Firing McBeane Colin Kaepernick
  2. Perhaps he might find Dri Archer and Darwin Walker there.
  3. Maybe this will all be chronicled on that show "God Friended Me." Perhaps that's where McDermott got the message and finally made the move.
  4. Maybe fans can take turns giving him the Dudley Death Drop through some tables.
  5. I could see NE grabbing him just to be trolls. They did have him in for a predraft visit. More likely I see Jacksonville grabbing him. Doug Marrone and Nate Hackett have no idea what a good quarterback looks like. They had him in for a pre draft workout. He's basically Blake Bortles without any natural talent.
  6. Not bad. He left out the whole #1 defense situation and Vontae Davis quitting at halftime. But a good read nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.
  7. This guy. His name was Jonathan Smith. For some reason they called him Fast Freddie. And he was slow.
  8. One other thought on the OL for now. I do like Ike Boettger and I hope we see him work in at RG soon. I know he played guard and tackle at Iowa and projects as a guard. I'm curious if he can play center. He's about the same size as Mitch Morse, who was a tackle at Missouri and converted to center. Juan Castillo oversaw the conversion of Ryan Jensen from a right tackle to a center, and he just got a boatload of money from Tampa this offseason. Ike is a converted tight end, so we know he is athletic and he is also smart. Again, it's just an idea, but I'm curious to see if it's something that could happen here.
  9. He looks confident and smooth. I like what we are seeing. He's not pressing like he was last year, just playing football.
  10. Wearing number 19 he kind of reminded me of Fast Freddy....I mean if Fast Freddy were actually fast. I liked the shiftiness he showed.
  11. If we wound up with something like: Dawkins-Teller- Nick Easton-AJ Cann-Daryl Williams I don't think it is unrealistic and I like the ages of these guys. Easton and Williams are coming off injury so may be cheaper and I like Cann as a RG. I do think Williams will still be the most exp nsive of the bunch.
  12. The free agent market on centers has a couple of interesting names. Mitch Morse - I think he is the guy with the highest ceiling. 6-6, 305 has been very good for Kansas City. His problem has been injuries. He missed a few games last year and has been out his year as well. Started 42 games. He will 27 next year. Matt Paradis - I think he goes back to Denver, but is a very interesting guy as well. 6-3, 300 and going to turn thirty next year. He's been very durable starting 57 games until he broke his leg this year. He is going to require an overpay. Nick Easton - I think this is the guy we wind up with. A Harvard graduate who can play guard or center. He started his career in camp with the Baltimore Ravens with Juan Castillo as his line coach. He's been traded a couple of times as well. He was an undrafted free agent who played so well for the Ravens in the preseason that they were able to turn him into a seventh round pick in a trade with the miners. 6-3, 307, will be 27 next year. He's on IR because of a bulging disc in his neck. He's only started 17 games in his career so far. Basically that is it. I think Easton makes sense because he is versatile and smart and he should not be super expensive to sign. He also has a history with Castillo. Ryan Khalil is still a very good player, but I don't love the idea of a 35 year old center. I like a guy in that 27-28 range to grow with the rest of the guys.
  13. Perfectly stated! Im not against this idea. It gives you a longer look at Barkley...maybe he gets re-signed to be the backup next year. As long as Allen is guaranteed the last four games, I don't care what happens.
  14. You start Allen 100%. But because we are the Bills, you guys know what is going to happen right? Allen will play like ? ? ? and everyone will be calling for Barkley again and now you have a quarterback controversy. What I saw from Barkley was some of the most efficient quarterbacking I have seen from a Bills quarterback in years (though Allen's game vs the Vikes was pretty ridiculous). So I think people on the Barkley side are saying, maybe we ride it out for a couple of games and see what we have with Matt. If he keeps winning, stay with him, and if he gets killed against the Jags, you turn back to Allen. I see the arguments on both sides.
  15. He looks like he just crop dusted the entire room. And feels good about it. ?
  16. The Jets should fire Todd Bowles and hire that hot blonde chick who was walking behind him all game.
  17. There is a lesson in there though. All year it looked like Daboll was trying to be too cute. They shortened the playbook for Barkley and kept it somewhat simple and this the result. Everyone played a million times better. So keep it simple, especially when Allen gets back in there.
  18. I tend to agree. I saw simple football, tackling, blocking, running good routes, and a quarterback taking what the defense was giving and taking shots when they were there. I am am a big X's and O's guy, but you are correct. Simple concepts with everyone doing their job. The offense looked New England esque, which is what I was expecting with Daboll. Their concepts are simple, but they do them really well. We saw that for the first time today in my opinion.
  19. I liked what I saw from Wallace. To be fair, Gaines was maybe missed in run support a bit, I thought Levi played soft there. But coverage wise you can't compare. I'm excited to see Wallace play over the next few weeks. And since we we are talking dbs, it is amazing how good Tre'davious is.
  20. So true. I'm curious if it's just a Bills thing or does every fan base do this?
  21. See I don't think this is a big deal. Allen and Anderson got hurt and Nathan Peterman might be the worst quarterback of all time. If if we started 4 guys because we couldn't figure out who the guy is, I'd be worried. Obviously we know Josh Allen is the guy. And he happens to be hurt.
