Im such an offensive line nerd (HS coach, been doing it 12 years, played center for 8). I study guys I like as if I'm watching game tape. The guy is awesome. Pretty much all I was watching during that game was Morse and that's why I've been spamming this board with his name for a couple of months. I'm not technically an expert, but I know some stuff and that dude can play. I wanted him since draft time so I kind of followed his career a bit and I really feel great about this signing.

Well Ryan Hewitt is also available and doubles as a full back.

I like James a bit better, but this guy is faster and probably a bit more athletic. What we are getting here is a big time red zone target and think there is more upside there. I still think we need to add to this position, but this is a good start. I'd still go after a Jeff Heurman, AJ Derby, or Maxx Williams, but Kroft is interesting.

Morse has not given up a sack since week 7 of his rookie year. Great fit and massive upgrade. I'm so giddy I feel like a little kid.

Great point. I think a team switching to a 4-3 should give him a shot as a Will, but these guys get pigeonholed all of the time. Surprised the Jets wouldn't just try him at Will. But he's not a Greg Williams type, that's for sure. Maybe they go after Jamie Collins.

Nobody should be upset about an OBJ trade. He's a weirdo, but I don't think he's a me first guy. He's just a strange dude. I know he publicly criticizes teammates, but I think that's just a sign of some immaturity and stupidity. The guy is an amazing player and I think he would fit in fine here.

Somehow did not fire the GM who drafted all of those guys. God I hated Lee pre draft and remember arguing over it at the old Bills message board. I mean I wanted Robert Nkemdiche, so I was wrong too, but I thought Lee was soft and small and that's what he is.

Yeah the regime in Carolina was all over this guy pre draft and there is the John Butler connection. Makes sense and I think Johnson can play some safety as well.

They drafted Isaiah Wynn last year in the first round. He should be ready to go.

That contract was so bad from the beginning. Then they moved him in to guard where he was even worse.

Until it doesn't happen, I will keep plugging Zay Jones for Forrest Lamp. Makes too much sense. I also think there could be a trade made for Allen Robinson. There is a small window for the Bears to trade him where they save a ton of money. I think it's before 3/17 or something.

This is what disappointment looks like

Yeah I'm kind of afraid they grab Mitch Morse. They have a need there and he's from Austin. I know they are like three hours apart, but he has a disabled brother that he has said he wants to be closer to.

Giants re-signed Jon Halapio and extended Spencer Pulley. They will compete for the starting center position. So the good news is that this takes a center needy team out of the running, the bad news is that they can now devote most of their attention to right tackle.
