Buffalo is a Sacred Place to Play a Football Game
Billsfanatic8989 replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Bills ever hold up the Lombardi, I may cry. But I may also just stare at the TV in stunned silence that it actually happened. -
Game week thread - Bills at Dolphins
Billsfanatic8989 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The heat is definitely a factor. In the 2022 game down there, the team looked gassed from the start. Though that was in September. -
Didn't think of this factor. Good point.
-
That seems like a rather big spread. Do home teams still get three points automatically? If so, it would be 3.5 point favorites.

Would you rather playoff seeding scenario?
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you know you have the bye, I don't think you can rest starters in week 17. Starting a playoff game after two weeks off is asking for trouble. That's my one important nugget. Do not have rusty players. -

I do agree one more game increases the likelihood of injuries. However, in the past five years, TB, LAR, KC (2023), and the Eagles never had a bye. All won the SB. -
Pittsburgh, Houston, TB, Eagles, and NE. No loss to any of those teams would be shocking. Nor an upset. I think they go 3-2 in that stretch. The most important thing is getting a top two seed.

Road games against Pittsburgh or Indy are not the same as visiting KC three times in five years. -

Would you rather face say...Pittsburgh and then Indy on the road. Or, host...Baltimore and then KC potentially? Yeah, I will take the former. The Chiefs have already come into Buffalo and won in the postseason. They won't be intimidated by anything. Baltimore probably wins last year if not for Andrews. NFL HFA isn't what it once was. -
Antonio Brown in big trouble...again
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I keep telling myself that one hit could not possibly scramble a guy's brains this much. But...look at his issues (hardly any) before that Burfict hit vs his issues afterwards. This guy went from premier WR. Maybe one of the most talented ever to....this. -
Week 10, Bills v. Fish, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
That would be the ultimate let down game after a big victory. It would make me question whether this team is capable of even getting to the postseason. 28-17 Bills for me. -
30.8 Million watched the Bills Chief's game
Billsfanatic8989 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nobody will ever be more popular than Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Dallas. All three of those teams travel well, have alot of history, and bring in ratings no matter what. 30 million is impressive though. I believe that beats game 7 of the World Series. -
Maybe a deal will be announced after 4 pm
-
I should add: My cousin's friend's dealer just confirmed that Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, & Barkley will not be traded either.
-
Yeah the comparison to the 2012 Patriots was odd. The Bills do not have a Welker or Gronk on offense. Nor do they have one of the greatest coaches in NFL history.
-
The Jets are doing an excellent job of tanking/accumulating picks. Hitting on those picks will be the tough part. And they still need to find a franchise QB. Which is the toughest thing to find.
-
Exactly. Other GMs are proving it is possible. So no excuses for Beane. If there are no additions, and the Bills flame out early, heads need to roll.
-
Yeah that may be the deciding factor. If the Chiefs get him, the AFC is basically theirs.
