  1. 4 AFC one seeds (14/16 Pats, 15 Broncos, 22 Chiefs) have won the SB in the past eleven years. Three others (17 Pats, 20 Chiefs, 24 Chiefs) got there and lost. Four others (18 Chiefs, 19/23 Ravens, and 2021 Titans) lost before the SB. 14 Seahawks, 15 Cats, 16 Cowboys, 17/22 Birds, 18 Saints, 19/23 Niners, 20/21 Pack, 24 Lions 6/11 NFC one seeds (49ersx2, Panthers, Seattle, Eaglesx2) made the SB since 2014. Only one (17 Eagles) actually won the SB. The Saints, Dallas, Packersx2, and Lions lost before the SB.
  2. Miami. Buffalo beat them on the road in the AFC title game. Media wanted Miami to win to have a Marino vs Aikma SB. Not that it would have mattered. Dallas would have destroyed them too. Edit: NE won the SB as the one seed in 2003 2024 Chiefs were one seed and of course lost.
  3. Daniels has already taken his team to the conference title game. And even he has struggled this year. Stroud looks much different than the successful rookie we saw. Too early to say either way on Maye. And frankly, Vrabel is a good HC. Not a great one (IE Reid, McVay, Shanahan). My hope is a close division race helps the Bills win a SB. Sometimes, alot of tough competition helps.
  4. I'm not a fan of a team (Cowboys) getting like 25 yards and automatically being in FG range.
  5. This. CJ Stroud looked impressive and has declined since. Stroud is now a top 15 QB at best. DC's will get tape and defend Maye better. Let's also see what he does against tighter coverages in inclimate weather.
  6. If the Bills go one and done, you will be content that they won the division? Can't let Baker scramble around. They have injuries at receiver so that should help.
  7. OSU gets great receivers, OL, and other perks. A QB's job is made much easier when guys are open by 10 yards on each play. And other young kids need to worry about the run. Well in the NFL, you aren't going to get access to all of the great receivers and OL. You have to hit a receiver open by two yards instead of ten. Defenses are much bigger, faster, stronger and smarter. Getting by on physical strengths alone is not enough. It's like going from multiplication to complicated algebra. So I agree with the poster above.
  8. I guess there are two different discussions for me. Is the division race over? Of course not. It won't be even with a loss on Sunday. Still 7 games left. Though, can't afford a 5th loss. Because that may make that December 14h game in Foxborough not as important. Winning a SB? I just don't see it happening. And frankly, that's the only thing we care about. If the Bills win the division and do not make it to the SB, it's still another year wasted. Nobody will care about winning the division.
  9. He didn't. But how do you explain him getting more production throughout his career with lesser QB's?
  10. This graphic should be another reason Brady does not return as OC next year. Patriots receivers aren’t that much better than the Bills. Yet, I saw guys schemed open all night vs Jets. So, yes the receivers are not good. But neither is Brady.
  11. Diggs has been impressive since he is doing this with such a young QB. I thought he would have flamed out there by now.
  12. I just researched this on Wikipedia. It's true.
  13. If he can't go Sunday, he probably won't start Thursday. That said, Davis Mills is certainly capable of shredding this secondary.
  14. And he probably won't I understand the future is important. But the present is so much more important to the Bills than any other team. This team needs to start winning SB's now. I'm going to go out on a limb and say no receiver drafted by the Bills in 26/27 will ever be as good as Waddle.
  15. Would be pretty embarrassing for the Bills IF the Patriots beat KC in the postseason on the way to a SB win. They would have accomplished something in one year that the Bills could not in six. I would be irate as a fan and want everyone out if that happened. And I'm already close to wanting everyone (McBeane, Babich, Brady) out.
  16. If Beane refused to give up a 2026 1st (likely a bust anyway) for an established stud like Waddle, he should be fired. Huge IF though. Yep. She seemed more fierce and likely to hold people accountable. Terry is probably just happy that the new stadium will be sold out and the team is relevant.
  17. Good as Burrow? Going way too far
  18. Kicking isn’t really a need.
  19. Can't lose this game for a few reasons. 1. Likely two games back in the division. 2. NE beat them (common opponents) 3. Things are getting worse and playoffs are not a sure thing
  20. This guy could not possibly make the offense worse. Put him out there and defenses need to respect his speed.
  21. I think people are crazy going with 9-8 record. By having Allen, they will be better than that. Of course they will beat the Browns and Jets. And TB is a warm weather team going to a cold climate. Eagles might not have anything to play for.
  22. If the season series is tied with the same regular season record, does it go to division record? NE opponents left: Bengals,Jetsx2, Miami, Baltimore, Giants, Buffalo. Bills opponents left: TB, Steelers, Bengals, Eagles, Jets,NE, Texans, and Browns. We need to beat them and have NE slip up vs Jetsx2 & Miami. It does look like both teams will face a Burrow led Bengals team.
  23. This rant looks so bad now. He knew he effed up and tried to double down. Time for a change
  24. I'm still convinced Maye will be a good, but not great QB. They will need alot of talent around him to ever win a SB. He can't dink and dunk. He escapes the pocket too quickly. Runs recklessly.
  25. A pass. One play.
