Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Despite the defense playing better in the second half, they were a few bad passes away from giving up nearly 30 in the first half to David Mills. Nothing to do with the Bills defense. Open receivers everywhere that he missed. The offense struggling against a great defense on the road is not surprising. But there were still too many suspect playcalls. These Bills do not have the look of a team capable of going 6-0 and winning the division. In fact, it's time to start wondering if they even make the postseason. -

The Bills need to win out. Simple as that. But that might not be enough. NE could afford two more losses in that scenario. If said losses do not involve the Jets & Phins, they win the East. That loss to Miami was a killer. I'd rather burn out early, see big changes, and move forward. I don't want to see them sneak in, go one and done, and give the owner any reason to bring the gang back. -

100% agreed. Those losses will be the back breaker imo. -

Missing the postseason is very much a possibility for this team. -
That kind of makes it worse. He has Allen and can't provide him with the proper support.

If your name is Bill Belichick or Veach, you can act like that to radio hosts. If your a GM who has accomplished absolutely nothing, maybe keep your trap shut. Too late as PSL's will be sold out within the next few months.

This. DC, HC, OC, and Gm are all accountable. Each should be gone.

There is. But that's irrelevant. Big picture, he isn't the problem. We all know what the issues are.

Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
No because we are watching an elite QB being wasted. Five years of mostly no competition in the division and did not take advantage. Now, each year will be a battle just to win said division. -
Allen did not play well today. I would give him a C. Average-ish.

Texans could have 31 points right now. Mills missed open receivers & the block in the back. -

Get at least 10 points on the next two drives and this game is over. -

Houston's game plan will be to run it down our throats. If that doesn't work for them, they lose. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills

Does having Belichick stop him from throwing picks in OT to cost his team postseason games on a consistent basis? We know the reason why -

I find it hard to judge QB's based on skills to actual results. Generally speaking, Brett Favre is known for making boneheaded mistakes at critical times. He cost his teams more playoff games than anyone else. But he was super talented. I don't know where to place him in a top ten list. How does one evaluates his talent vs actual performance? -

Greatest talent & Greatest QB are two different things. Brett Favre is way more talented than Tom Brady. When it comes to the position as a whole, Brady is a few tiers above him. -
A Few Thoughts about the Bucs Game - Community Edition
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
OT here. There was not many Bucs fans at the game. Correct? I ask because there was alot of red in the stands. You rarely see opposing fans at Bills home games. Maybe it was fans wearing the Bills red jerseys. -

Colemon out there against that Texans defense is a recipe for disaster. The receivers looked much better without him on the field. -
It may not matter if they dominate TOP with Chibb running for 150-200. And Stroud this year has not been effective to the point where you celebrate that his backup is playing. And said backup is not bad. He can make plays. That was embarrassing.
