  1. I can't even rib my Patriots fan friend because I have no comeback. Me: Patriots won't win the division title nor make the postseason this year. You got a ways to go. Him: I watched my team win six SB titles. Get back to me when your team wins one. Better yet, get back to me when your team stops wasting Josh Allen and can actually get to a SB. The Patriots will be in a SB before the Bills are. I had nothing left to say lol. I can't brag about winning division titles and Allen being elite. It doesn't matter to a fan of a team where winning a title is the only measure of success. Point being, the Bills have really wasted being in a weak division with an elite QB. How much better will Allen be in his 30's. What will be different about McDermott? The QB play has been very good to great in the postseason. The DC's have changed. Yet, the defense regularly gets abused by elite QB's. There is one constant.
  2. I hate this approach: 1. The defense is on the field longer. That will have an impact later on in the game. Tired players. 2. Less offensive possessions. In turn, that means the offense needs to be darn near perfect with the possessions they do get. 3. The strategy will probably work against average QB's. Elite QB's normally make less mistakes. Meaning, TD's instead of FG's. The strategy overall hasn't worked when it matters most. Get guys on D who can get a pick six here and there.
  3. Patriots are still in a rebuilding phase. Maybe by 2027 they can compete for the division. I think they 1-2 the next three games. Only win being Tennessee.
  4. Edelman got open on a regular basis. And they obviously had Gronk who was unstoppable when he was healthy. Welker. Now was Edelman only good and shifty because of who his QB was? Nobody will ever know.
  5. When you put it that way....yikes!!!
  6. They didn't go to Kincaid enough. NE could not stop him. If something is working, you keep doing it until it doesn't work.
  7. Detroit Buffalo Eagles I put the Eagles because they are the defending SB champions. And they have an impressive track record. Those three teams look "sustainable". Indy...looks like a good team. But I can't take them seriously unless Jones is doing this in late December. Sleeper teams to watch out for: Denver KC (They move up when they start stringing together consistent wins) Washington
  8. Detroit is better. Yeah the Bills have the QB. But their #2 receiver would be the #1 here. Eagles...despite struggling Colts
  9. Feels like there have been alot of teams favored by big spreads in the past few weeks who are not covering. Or just outright losing. Us against the Saints, Phins and NE. Giants against the Chargers and Eagles. Bucs vs the Jets. Packers vs Browns. Packers vs Dallas. Any given Sunday (Or Thursday)
  10. He looked good. What will he do when his team is down two scores or more in the second half. How will he handle a last possession where he absolutely needs a TD to avoid losing? The truly great QB's can come from behind. They don't panic. New England used to have a QB who could come from behind on a regular basis. Let's see what this kid can do.
  11. I'm not. But Atlanta has more talent on offense than the Bills. The big question is what Penix does. If he is on, this could be a shootout.
  12. Is Atlanta that much worse, if at all, than the Patriots? And this is a road game.
  13. Jags have a good defense. They are doing more than Lawrence. To be honest, Lawrence has been a dissapointment.
  14. Then Allen is content with the way things are. He did extend here as well
  15. Both should be gone if they don't make the SB this year. Allen will be 30. The clock is ticking. There is no guarantee he will be elite into his later years. All that said, they won't be gone. And it's a shame. A waste really. The next Marino. But at least Marino got to a SB. And before you know it, we will look up and NE has surpassed us. Both in the division and conference. It's unbelievable The 2009-2011 Rex Ryan takes this team to a SB. After that, not so much.
  16. Far too early to say if he will be a great QB or not. He had terrible coaching last year and is getting good coaching this year. He certainly has the physical traits you want. Now, it's about reading defenses better and the mental side of things.
  17. If the Bills and Eagles were to play in the SB next week, 9/10 pundits would choose Philly. Bills have the better QB. But otherwise...not much else. As for MVP RIGHT NOW...I would go with Mayfield. TB has been injured and he is pulling out wins left and right.
  18. Sorry for your loss. He will be watching down when the Bills hold that Lombardi in the air.
  19. Just saying it would be bad for the Bills if they become great.
  20. Dungy turned the Bucs from a joke into serious contenders. He was a very successful HC. Way better than McD imo.
  21. It would be a shame. The Bills are never going to get a QB like this again. In fact, very few teams will. The clock is ticking.
  22. PSL's are nearly sold out at the new stadium. And the Bills are competitive. Business wise things have never looked better. So...it won't be anytime soon Pegula gives him the boot. The other thing is that the Sabres are a mess because they recycle HC's like crazy. That could stop Pegula from firing McD. The fear of getting worse.
  23. You think Denver wins the division over KC?
  24. Disagree. Allen has been great in many games where McD's Defense ultimately cost them the game. What else could Allen possibly do in the postseason?
  25. In general I mean. They had good moments last night. Ultimately, the Patriots D was better.
