Thanksgiving Day game thread (no Bills stuff please)

Surprised KC is only like 3 pt favorites over Dallas -
If the Rams and Chiefs played in the SB this Sunday, I would take the Rams. I think they are a bad matchup for KC and have an elite QB/HC capable of shredding their defense to pieces. If they played in the actual SB in February, it would probably be a toss up. The Chiefs would have gone on a crazy run to get there. Have momentum on their side. The Chiefs seem to have a psychological edge over the latter two. Both have HC's that play to lose imo. Whereas Maye & the Patriots are new to all of this. Sometimes that can work to a team's advantage. Not knowing what they should know. Vrabel strikes me as a guy who goes for the kill shot and trusts his players to make plays. So, I think NE is more likely to beat KC than those other two. At least this year. Not that I would actually pick the Patriots to win. But surprised if they did? No.

Burrow could still be rusty. And the Bills tend to.play better vs good QB's this season.

Those injuries are nothing compared to what the Bills have dealt with. Let's see how good Maye can be with a not so good OL

Game week thread - Bills at Steelers

This is a 50/50 game imo. The Bills are not a good road team. And Rodgers will likely be back. -
You are using last week against a divisional opponent to insinuate he isn't a top tier QB? I am looking at the big picture. He is unbelievable this season and no AFC team is stopping that offense. The Eagles probably can stop them. Adams is not even 33 yet lulz System wide receiver or not, he gets open and produces. He is a top WR. On paper, the Rams are much better than us. But any given Sunday.
-
Definitely weak imo. Compared to the top teams in the NFC. Any team facing Eagles/Rams could be 5 point underdogs. Silver lining: Coleman will/should be back in the lineup soon.

A Few Thoughts about the Texans Game - Community Edition
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
My thought is that there is alot of pressure on Stroud. He needs to step up (OL too) and not waste away a defense this great. If they had a good offense they would be a top two betting favorite to win the SB. With the Bills, I disagreed with going for it on 4th and 1. Take the points. The defense was stopping them at that point. Lastly, I thought a win was in the bag after that 4th down lateral play. Instead, it will be forgotten. Shame. -
Last night could be excused if they were an elite team. Texans have an elite defense. It was on the road. The loss is just a continuation of a team that is falling apart.

Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?

Allen will win a SB: With a great new HC/GM combo here Get traded to the Rams or something and win it his first year there It won't be with this brass. I've accepted that. Same. Watching the Bills is still better than other stresses life brings. -
Time to Rebuild? Too Many Beane Holes.

This. And if it gets worse, what, the Bills do not win a SB? They haven’t anyways. What's the difference? Worst case scenario they look for another HC. I hate this idea of keeping a HC because the new guy might be worse. If the new guy sucks, cross that bridge when you get to it. -

You do not keep a HC around because the next guy could be worse. That is living in your fears and settling for comfort over what is truly needed----change!!! -
Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.

It's unbelievable how much money is being paid out to unproductive players. They are all playing hurt, out injured entirely, or suck. -
Dawkins giving up on blocks
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Uncle Monkeyhead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not crazy at all. I don't want to back into a division title. Go out early. And get an even tougher schedule than next year will already be. All the while Pegula thinks things are fine. Short-term pain for long-term gain hopefully. -

So your a Patriots fan? Sorry but the schedule is brutal next year and Maye needs to prove he can come back from two score deficits. Not to mention win in the postseason. Especially since all of the tickets are nearly sold out. This would make more sense if nobody was buying them. -

To be determined. The division window opened. Too soon to say they have a SB window. -
Remaining Schedule, how will this play out?
Billsfanatic8989 replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
They won't mail it in if the #1 seed in the NFC is at stake. -

They don't need a full rebuild. It's not impossible to find good receivers in the draft. Or non injury prone defenders. A new HC/GM combo may breathe new life into the organization. Not happening anyway with Allen at QB and the new stadium opening. -
Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Winning the division followed by an early exit does more harm to the organization long-term. It will fool ownership into thinking they are close. Everyone returns. More draft busts. Next season starts with a bunch of injuries on both sides of the ball. Rinse and repeat. Oh, and a first place schedule. If missing the postseason or flaming out as a road WC leads to changes, I will take it. Short-term pain for long-term gain. -
Or the....."Not many teams have beaten Mahomes & Reid in the postseason. It isn’t just McDermott". Except of course Zac Taylor & Sirianni.
-
Yes it's time for a change. It's not working with this coaching staff. Firing coordinators is not enough. They did that already. The one common denominator is still here. I don't want Beane making the decision on a new HC either.
