  1. Replace him with who though? All of the great coordinators will get HC jobs or stay in a comfortable situation. How many OC's does McDermott get to go through?
  2. Wonder what it would take to get Mike Evans? He is a star receiver. Unfortunately, I think KC makes a run at him though.
  3. Yep. My fear is they won't get rid of the HC here until Allen hits a decline. We will be a middle of the pack team. Probably win a few more division titles. Win a playoff game against some tomato can like Pittsburgh. Follow it up by losing to a team with a better HC. So, middle of the draft picks. A HC that does enough to get to the postseason but do nothing. An owner unwilling to pull the trigger.
  4. Anyone think KC goes up and down the field on Baltimore with those receivers? Absolutely not. So the one saving grace is they likely don't win it again. But I'm tired of hoping other teams lose. Or, being "proud" of their effort. Every team in the league puts effort forward. This team isn't anything special in that regard.
  5. I don't understand how we keep beating them in the season. Yet, they keep beating us in the postseason. It boggles my mind. Only conclusion I come up with is one coach is made for postseason ball. Another...is not. But no, Allen didn't get it done when it mattered most. Not all on him though. Team game.
  6. The fact Gabe Davis was missed tells us all we need to know about this WR group.
  7. And Pegula won't do a darn thing. Which infuriates me. I think it's time more heat is on Beane too.
  8. We would not have. But it would have been better losing there than at home to our masters.
  9. Baltimore pass rush is going to wreck havoc on their OL. And they won't be going up and down the field. I think Baltimore wins it all in the end. Which tells me...this time would have gotten obliterated in Baltimore. Not that it makes this loss any better.
  10. Yeh....I am guessing most of the fan base does not share this sentiment.
  11. Yeah he's awful without Brady. An elite QB. Our problem...is anything but QB. So that's not an issue. He would also have this defense near the top of the league.
  12. McD was fine tonight. But it's not just this loss. I just feel there is a ceiling with him in the postseason. Things aren't progressing forward. Why ignore the fact there are legendary coaches available? They would jump at this opportunity. When is getting to the Divisional round not going to be enough?
  13. Give up picks to Minnesota for Jefferson. Try and get Higgins from Cincinnati.
  14. Why was he not cut weeks ago? Did McDermott have tryouts? His ass should not have been active today. Get a guy off the street. It's on coaching.
  15. I gotta say it...call Belichick or Harbaugh tomorrow. Is this loss on McD? No. But you know what? Something big has to change. Yeah, we probably get our butt kicked in Baltimore next week. So what. This was an enormous game where too many people came up small. BTW, Diggs time as a #1 receiver on this team needs to be questioned.
  16. I am living in the moment. I am stressed and excited simultaneously
  17. If I'm the 49ers, I am hoping TB wins. Detroit has the best rush offense in the league. SF's weakness? Rush defense. I can see a real scenario where Detroit goes into SF and wins. Not so much with TB. And IF we are lucky enough to get to a SB, I would rather play one of these two teams. Not SF. Lions beating SF is good if we make the bowl. But...I don't want a SB matchup of Ravens vs Lions. I think Baltimore would win rather easily. If the Ravens get to the SB, only SF is really capable of winning imo.
  18. Yeah. I mean, what did we really accomplish if we win today but go on to lose in Baltimore? The bar is higher imo. It's SB or bust. That may seem negative. I'm sorry. My standards are higher than getting pumped over the possibility of winning a divisional playoff win.
  19. This. An elite QB is going to go after replacements immediately. It's up to McD & company to come up with a plan. The "road" narrative facing the Chiefs makes me nervous too. They lost more at home this year. And it isn't as if they have played in uncomfortable environments before. Lastly, there is the expectations aspect. KC has won 2/3 SB's in four years. Them losing is that...a loss. They will get receivers (Whether Mike Evans or whoever) and likely be back to the old Chiefs next year. Everything is on us. If we win, well we still have to go in and somehow beat Baltimore. If we lose that game nobody will care we won this one. A loss will really hurt Allen's reputation fair or not. And the team could see big changes with a loss too. TLDR: A KC loss is "meh" because of what they already accomplished. A Bills loss will bring about change imo. Oh, the Chiefs playing on road thing is overblown.
  20. Lamar will get it. And it's tough to say he is undeserving. If Allen had half the amount of turnovers, he probably wins.
  21. Just goes to show how kickers can outright lose you a game. Packers HC just criticized him in the postgame. KC has one of the best kickers. We can't afford to get into a ST's battle. Need TD's.
  22. IF the team gets to play Baltimore, will guys on D be back? We can't afford to have backups out there against elite QB's. They will be picked apart.
  23. Take the ball and go get a TD. Make them work from behind on the road. With those receivers, playing catch up on the road won't be easy.
  24. This is by far JA's biggest game to date. He finally gets KC at home with the fans, revenge, and weather to his advantage. Everybody wanted them coming into our house. Now, we have that opportunity. We have no excuses left if we let them come in and win.
