The spending deficit is up over the first six months of the government fiscal year, which started October 1, 2024 and ended March 31st. So literally three months of Biden's presidency, and three months of Trump. And you're blaming the April tariffs, which don't even fall into the timeline... Meanwhile, Biden added 9 trillion in debt in four years. Shocking that the interest on debt is higher now than four years ago.

Dart is my #2 QB, but as GM of the Browns in the draft 1.0 I couldn't pass on Carter. They have jags on the Dline except for Garrett, and pairing him with Carter makes them scary as hell... Had Ward been there like in 2.0 I would have taken him as well. I also don't get the Travis Hunter hype, and can't see spending a premium draft pick on a 180 lbs "iron man." I was hoping Dart would last until #33. But that's unlikely. I think he'll rightly be viewed as this year's Bo Nix. I ended up taking Will Howard at the bottom of the 3rd round. I think he has the athletics and size to do some of the things Josh can do, and like Josh, he'll have to fix his throwing mechanics to succeed at the next level. I'm not staying Howard has the same talent as Josh by any stretch of the imagination. But he has been clocked hitting 22mph on runs downfield, and he's a big dude that executes the short to intermediate passing game with divisiveness and efficiency. I like his prospects better than his combined performance.

With the 94th pick of the draft, the Cleveland Browns select: Will Howard, QB, The Ohio State University. He has the athleticism and leadership to compete for the starting position. He has some mechanical issues to fix, but will operate the Browns offense with efficiency and add an element to their run game... The Chiefs and @scuba guy are on the clock. @Virgil already made my pick...

Are you really trying to say that a tariff is being treated worse than Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Or maybe your emotions have overtaken your rational thinking. -
With the 67th pick of the Draft (1.0) the Cleveland Browns select: Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State The Browns now have a legitimate wr to pair with Jerry Jeudy... The Raiders and @BuffaloBillyG are on the clock.

Josaiah Stewart is not someone I've looked at, until seeing this. Almost a 40% win rate, 9 sacks for Michigan last year. He's basically the same size as Jerry Hughes. Could be an interesting 2nd round edge. -
There's a cap friendly approach. Bit of a gamble that your run game isn't going to suffer. But if you hit on the rookie RB you carve out some much needed cap space.

Would love to see the breakdown of him lining up at x vs z, as well as pass vs run from both sets.
-
He played 402 of 585 snaps in the slot last year-- 68%. Do you consider 30% of snaps at z or x insignificant? Or are you thinking snaps at z are basically the same thing as snaps at slot?

That could be true. But he certainly wasn't very productive last year. -
This has the feelings of Adam Schiff standing before Congress and talking for 3 straight hours about why Donald Trump must be a kgb asset. Total security breach! Other than nothing was compromised. And nothing will be compromised. We know you're going to keep harping on this for a week like some 16 year old girl who thinks she caught her boyfriend texting some other girl. Nobody cares but DNC shill losers!

Josh Palmer is graded as an above average run blocker for a wr. He's not nearly as good as Mack at it, no. But far better than Cooper ever was. Probably won't be playing much special teams, no. But if Laviska makes the team he probably will. In all, I think Palmer will have better production in the pass game than Hollins and will contribute more to the run game than Cooper. Definitely wanted them to keep Mack though, I agree. -
I mean, if they had fomented a revolution and sent an American Ambassador to an unguarded outpost to be murdered. That would be understandable. If they had outsourced the exit plan security to the Taliban and got 13 American soldiers killed, that would be forgivable... But adding an American journalist to an encrypted text group and divulging general points about an imminent attack that ended up being highly successful? Unforgivable. The worst blunder in American history. The editor of the Atlantic could have been a trans-ethnic agent mole for the Houthi rebels, which could have conceivably alerted his countryman to watch out for F18's somewhere in the vicinity of Yemen. Thank God no American was killed by Houthi rebels in the middle of the night, the Democrats would have to give Mike Waltz a medal.

Yes, but... Amari Cooper got his snap count reduced to 30-40% of plays as the season went on. Imo, bc he was washed up and wasn't effective blocking. Palmer should see far higher snap counts than Cooper because he's a much better blocker, and he's a better router runner than Cooper was at that point in his career. He may end up being a primary wr on 2 wr sets with blocking duty on a lot of run plays. Which is what Hollins did. So while he won't replace Hollins specific roll, he'll pick up the slack and the snaps.
